"Entry, descent, and landing- start."
The outer regions of Namek's upper exosphere were normally quiet for the most part. Namek was never a planet that garnered an overly abnormal amount of negative attention, and the visitors it did ever have normally knew better than to cause any trouble considering the planetary protectors it did happen to have waiting amongst its wings. Over the past few years, however, such sentiment seemingly began to shift- with one threat after another coming to scorch the ground asunder in their wakes.
It was an unsettling pattern that both observer and aforementioned protectors came to notice. However, time and time again Namek's defenses have proven too hearty, and too determined for any threat to ever possibly come close to wreaking havoc as they please. But, this time was different.
The level of threat that now hung on the horizon of the planet down below eclipsed anything the likes of have ever been seen. The peak of savage Saiyan superpower, Lottus, had once more made his fated return- and now the people of Namek stood on the precipice of a conflict that could potentially forever change the face of their planet forever. No one person on their own could hope to ever face down such a threat alone, and even with back-up, the indomitable force would prove to be a harrowing challenge to overcome.
Which was why a certain two now began to make their own fated return to the planet of blue grass and green skies. Times had changed, and their hands were now finally forced to step in from the sideline.
Light, steady footsteps echoed throughout the main bridge of the spaceship that now started its entrance into Namek's inner stratosphere. The glass panel that faced the planet down below becoming engulfed in fire and flame as the shuttle endured quite easily the magnitude of re-entry. The company of two watching as their home greeted them with the peaceful pastures that they had once lived out their settled down lives amongst so many months ago.
"Now entering Aerodynamic Descent Phase. Deploying main chutes in three, two, one ..."
On cue, the shuttle's main parachutes exploded outward from the rear of the ship, enabling a safe, timely landing upon Namek soil without any great commotion or fuss. Which was intended- the two knew that the element of surprise would be their greatest asset in their approach here, and to alert either friend or foe of their arrival too soon would make everything messier than it ought to be.
Instead, upon landing, the technician of the two would send out a very specific distress signal- one that both knew only a certain individual with certain special tech would be able to pick up on their own. Soon after, the more combat-inclined of the duo then took his leave, shooting upwards into the skies above and soaring through the clouds around him as he looked for a proper area to sit and to wait.
Even from his position above the skies, the young man could feel the sinister energy radiating from the Outer Plait. The sheer magnitude causing a shiver to run down his spine. Despite all the strength and mental fortitude he had accrued in his time away, the youthful Saiyan still felt completely outclassed.
And yet, he still was prepared to do whatever it took to defend his homestead.
But, as mentioned before, the combative connoisseur was no fool to the odds against him- he couldn't do this at all alone.
Which was where that distress signal comes in. For who does one lean more on than their own flesh and blood?
Yes, it may have been months, practically an eternity since Dion Haddock had seen his sister Zhalla on home turf, but there was almost no one else he trusted more than her to be able to support him in the defense of their shared home world. The last time they were together it had been an argument over a conflict in values, however, the most important thing Dion had learned from that encounter was just how strong his little sister truly was.
And if he knew his little sister, which he believed he still did, Dion knew she would have only gotten stronger since they last met. So, who better to ask for aid than she?
Of course, this assumed that Zhalla would be willing to forgive and somewhat partially forget all the two had been through and Dion's inability to apologize to her sooner in person rather than this much later (although admittedly, Nero's encouragement of taking some time off to find and re-steady himself took priority and he did trust Nero with Zhalla enough anyways to keep her safe during his departure), but it was still a leap of faith he had to take.
It was their home on the line, after all.
So, here he now stood and waited, meditating just above the raging waters of the Fl'uud Waterfall, waiting. Waiting to see if she would come.
Because if she didn't, he wasn't really sure what he'd do.
