Lottus continues to savage his foods, scarfing them down like they were all his last meals - but he still listened to Jagaimo's remarks. He downs another bowl of soup, and belches loudly in satisfaction.
"Hell yeah I'm going to keep going." Lottus replies, completely serious despite the grin. "But like I said; it's more than just finding out how much I can kill, but finding warriors that can stand up and give me a good challenge! It gets my blood boiling when I find a warrior that tests my power, or even overcomes my power and pushes back!"
Lottus grabs a cloth and wipes away some of the juices from the foods that had dripped onto his chin, and tosses the rag back on the table.
"And why should I care what the locals around here think?" Lottus says, bitterness in his tone. "If they had any pride in their blood, they'd damn well use my example as a reason to get stronger themselves! So what if they look at me that way? Let them; so long as they see the ceiling I represent, and work to surpass it!"
Lottus picks up a glass and sups from the fiery drink. The conversation was resembling one he had while still dead - the one with Yatapi. He had told the Tuffle then that he intended to make the Saiyans more powerful than ever before, so that they would never be conquered. Playing this role was as good a method as any. Damned Kais and Hell knew that he wasn't fit to rule the Saiyans.
"I died too, so what is the difference, really? I'm just too stubborn to let it stick." Lottus chuckles. At her final question, Lottus' grin slips. "...I've been cracking planets that I've found selling or producing synthetic Destron. I think I'll keep doing that. Being a monster isn't so bad. Some Kai thought I could be useful in some Balance act, so now that he's gone, I'm making my own balance."
Lottus' grin reappears, and he downs more of his drink.
