The world was getting freaky. Every hour that passed, Yogu could feel some big bad something on the way. Right down to the bones. Was it that Lottus guy? Probably. But that wasn't it, at least not entirely. Something was stirring here on Earth. The more powerful guys were starting to have this other side of them come out. Unstable. That was the only word for it. That Jackie lady bursting into a fireball of rage, Russ with his own funked-up energy... Something was seriously wrong. And the little people were at the mercy of their mental state! Nothing too bad had happened yet (to his knowledge), but the situation certainly wasn't de-escalating!

This whole issue particularly mortified Yogu. So much so he couldn't get himself to train. Or do any presidential campaigning. Instead, he wandered the streets of Central City, waiting for his bike to get repaired. What a waste of precious time. This place had been his home for most of his teenage life, but boy, could he not stand more than a week in the city. He was a wanderer. A trait that didn't suit a world leader. He yearned for the streets when out in the dirt and daydreamed of the plains when he finally saw concrete again. If he did get voted in, an increasingly unlikely scenario, he'd have to stay in the city most of the time. And never train. There was only so much time in the day, after all. How was he supposed to get strong enough to deal with the unstable defenders and attackers of Earth while also keeping everything else from falling apart?!

A voice called out to him and many other people milling about on the city's sidewalks as if right on cue. The scene left him scratching his head. An innocent scientist man, a lab coat and all, with a little stand. The sign made it clear what this was all about. "The hell's this?" He says, darting out of the current of people like a fish caught on the hook. It was obvious to him what this really was all about. Science!

I mean, just look at that mustache! How could he even be slightly skeptical of the whole thing? He had the lab coat! This was clearly some kind of Superdrug ready for public testing! And if this thing worked, it might just solve all his problems without needing to do any pesky hard work. The image of a Super Saiyan coming knocking only to be greeted by a Super Soldier Yogu was enough to sell him on it.

"Me! Mememememe! I wanna try!" Yogu kept jumping up and down, waving his hands to get the guys' attention. This wasn't hard, given that practically no one else had stopped for more than a moment to look at this obvious scam.

A voice rumbled in the back of Yogu's mind, "Ohohohoho... This oughta be good." He ignored the mind-voice, as he had gotten accustomed to doing these past few weeks. He wasn't the unstable one after all, it was the strong guys!

The longer it takes to get picked on, the louder Yogu gets and the more intense his waving gets, "ComeoncomeonCOMEON!" Much to his shock, he got picked to come on up and try the super serum! Talk about winning the lottery! "Oh yeah! Ultimate power, here I come!" What a hero he was, selflessly risking his life for science. "Come on, double the strength?! In an hour?! I could trounce almost anyone I ran into with that kind of power! Any martial artist would take that deal." That was, after all, the point of martial arts. Obtaining overwhelming strength to wail on your enemies.

The boy scrambles up the stage so fast a gust of wind blows through. Yogu stares at the seat after its' grand reveal. Something about it was giving electric chair vibes. He ignores this—just like that pesky voice—and pops a squat on his new throne. "So, this some sorta new capsule corp product? You guys aren't planning on just handin' this out, are ya?" This certainly-not-suspicious street doctor's words were ominous, too... Nah, this was going to solve all his problems! "Yeah, yeah, I'm super responsible! I'm even runnin' for president to prove it!" Power getting to his head? No way! That'd never happen. His mind was an impenetrable bunker, reinforced by a will of steel.

That will is immediately shattered when Sen brings out the dreaded needle. The kid hadn't considered that whole part of this deal. "C-Can't ya just make it a pill or somethin'...?" His grip on the armrests tightens, and his teeth grit together. This was the cost of MAXIMUM POWER. He would bear it.

Yogu nervously shrugs at Doctor Goodtimes. If he wanted to make sacrifices for power, he'd be out training! This was supposed to be the quick and easy way! The boy was just about to start shouting in protest of this whole mad science experiment when the guy ducked behind his curtain. Naturally, Yogu has got to get up and sneak a peek. Before he can, Sen comes back around. The boy anxiously stumbles backward into his electric chair while being handed his pill. "Man, you did it that fast?! You're like a freakin' super scientist!" With how few science classes Yogu has attended, this might as well be magic.

Yogu eyeballs the pill for a while. It was kind of big. And he wasn't given get any water... This was the sacrifice for great power he must make. He takes his medicine with a gulp. Wow, a minute-long conversation with someone on the street, and they've got him taking random pills. "You're the salt of the earth, Yogu."

The boy ignores the voice, "So how will I know if it works?" This was probably something he should've asked beforehand. For all he knew, this was going to mutate him into some monster! He leans back into his chair, and then, with a deep breath, relaxation takes hold. Yogu practically melts into his soon-to-be trap. Oh good, the nice pill-man was making him more comfy. "Yeah, sure, take your time, science man. Could use a nap..." He mutters with a yawn, stretching and closing his eyes. This fool wouldn't even feel the needle now.

This whole thing was sooo chill. There was not one thing that could possibly go wrong here-

Yogu's eyes dart to his arm, which Sen locked firmly in place. No good. That was definitely something he should be feeling alarmed about. It was pretty hard to care right now, though. "Yeah, I'm like, the bravest, pretty much." Side effects were a non-issue; he was super strong! And in a second, he'd be even strongerer!

Thunk!

Well, there goes the other arm. Something about this felt really off. Yogu was starting to get the sneaking suspicion that Doctor Goodtimes wasn't a doctor at all. Thankfully, the good doctor put his mind at ease, "Well that's a relief, doc. I like havin' good chances..."

Thunk!

And now he couldn't move at all. That was about the point where panic overpowered the tranquilizers. Yogu starts struggling against the restraints but seems to be having difficulty using his ki. "Hey, not cool! I'm fine bein' a human guinea pig, but not the first one!" This was supposed to be a professional experiment! Couldn't the people on the street see this insane quackery?! Yogu looks over, only to see them still marching past about their day, not really caring. "Hey! This isn't a roadshow, people! This nutjob is seriously gonna mess me up!"

The boy watches in horror as Sen takes out some science doohickey. It looked innocent enough. Then the needles came out. Plural. The sight makes Yogu's eyes look ready to pop out of his head like golf balls. Like a wild animal, he does everything he can to get away. His power refused to rise. It would in a minute either way. "Never trustin' a scientist ever again!" He barks out through gritted teeth. Yogu always knew science was one big crock of shit. If it was magic he was dealing with, he would have just had to drink some gross potion. But no, instead, his shirt gets torn up, and he's getting a volley of needles to his... Spine?!

With renewed intensity, he starts to thrash as the countdown begins, "NononononoNO-NO-NO! NO! DON'T YOU DA-"

An ear-piercingly high-pitched scream echoes out through all of Central City. People from across the entire metropolitan area turn in the general direction of the stand, looking more confused than anything else.

Back at the stand, Yogu's entire body violently shakes as it takes in a whole lot of 'super soldier serum'. His head goes limp, and his shaking comes to an abrupt stop. At once, his energy snaps to its peak, and the restraints tear away like thin paper. He felt... Incredible! Like the entire world was a ball he could pick up and slam dunk! This must be what the Super Saiyans and all those other super-strong guys feel like!

"WOOOOO! Thanks a million, doc! I feel awesome! Heh heh! AHAHAHAHA!" Like a pinball out of control, Yogu starts bouncing all around the stage as a blur! He tears right through the curtain and smashes up the equipment! Stray ki blasts start getting added to the mix, and finally, the general public starts to pay a little attention to the situation. The people of Central City are sent running and screaming! The roided out Yogurt makes a b-line across the stage to Sen, finding something to direct his energy at. "I don't appreciate gettin' tricked though! NOT ONE BIT!" He tries to hit the doctor with a ki-empowered shoulder check!

Yogu gets juiced up. His Konatsian Spirit is triggered! With Sen's ooc permission the serum also gives Yogu a slight boost in power. PL is now 400,000.
And he attacks Sen with a Light Offensive || Ki Focus! 80,000 Damage coming the mad doctor's way! This tech has the BLEED variant.

Yogu felt like he was sinking into a carrion black abyss in the deepest recesses of his mind. Something else was steering the ship now. And damn, did it feel nice. The thing that was once Yogu scoffs at Sen's words, "I think the fool's the one that thought juicing up the little freak of nature was a good idea! I've just gotta hand it to you, though. That science stuff worked wonders on the kid!" Speaking about himself in the third person wasn't a good sign, was it?

It felt damn satisfying to watch the mad doctor smack into a building. He keeps hopping around like a hypercaffeinated child, flexing and shouting, "OORAH! Heh heh... After I rearrange your face, I'm gonna... I don't know what. Give this new me a spin, cause some property damage, somethin' good..." Yogu wrings his hands together maniacally before breaking out into another mischievous cackle. A perceptive person miiiiight just infer that the boy was letting this sudden power get to his head.

His eyes widen in shock when he sees the mustache missing from the doctor's face, "Wait a minute, you're no doctor at all!" The boy authoritatively puts his fists to his hips and stands tall, "Just what the hell did you shoot us- me with?" Then the taser comes out. The pins sink into Yogu's neck, and he's hit with a good surge of electricity. In his state, however, the roided-out freak keeps marching towards Sen as if he wasn't getting tased in the neck! "Well, this just won't do, buddy..." Yogu cocks back a fist and tries to slam it dead center into the tuffle's gut, a real lung buster of a punch! The rampaging ragamuffin's eyes catch the red spots suddenly appearing in his punching bag's hair. "Ya know, I'm gettin' realll curious. Just who the hell are you?!" He shouts, trying to deliver a knee to Sen's chin! After all of that, he's left huffing and puffing. That concentrated shot of voltage to the carotid artery did more than he'd care to admit. He'd feel it a hell of a lot worse tomorrow morning.

Watching the funny little man ragdoll all over the place just tickled Yogu pink. "Awh, nothin' beats shovin' some nerd around..." The kid felt so wonderful he could break out into a song and dance number! That would be a bit much right now, however. He'd need to find a grander stage... Unfortunately, it seemed that just wasn't in the cards for him. The results of this little experiment were temporary. A drug-fuelled illusion. "Ohohoho! That's a dirty little trick! You're one cruel little weirdo, aren't ya? Don't smell human, neither... Welp, don't worry you whatever-you-are, I intend to make damn good use of what little time I've got. I'm gonna paint the town RED!"

The musclebound Yogurt takes the fist to the jaw. The boy doesn't react, save for his jaw shifting to the left before snapping back with a bony crunch. A full-fanged smile grows across his face, "Oh, that's it! Eyes. Ya don't want eyes on your little back alley experiments, huh, Doctor Jekyll?!" A deep orange aura sparks up around Yogu, his muscles bulge even more, and he holds his hand out. Ki pours out into his palm. More than it felt the boy had in him, "Well, you shoulda thoughta that before callin' me IDIOT!" All that quickly gathered ki fires out in a one-handed Kamehameha! Just as it seems like he runs out of steam, another wellspring from something else comes out of nowhere! The true-blue color of the beam becomes permeated with red speckles and surges forward! Over the rumble of all that energy, a low roar can be heard, the source being the drug-fueled ball of rage that is Yogu.

Yogu tanks Basic Tactics! 20% damage taken!
Yogu fires back by using Support Tech || MAX Power to increase tech power by 10% to offset EXHAUSTED.
Then he throws out a one-handed Medium Attack || Kamehameha! This tech has the HOMING variant. Also using Crane School Secrets for that sweet +50% bonus. Damage is 440,000 (110%)! Yogu takes 50% damage of recoil!

The muscle man is left huffing and puffing in the attack's aftermath. His hands smoke, singed by whatever that energy was that came out of him. He needed to watch it, he was starting to feel woozy. Another big move like that might just KO him before the fight really gets going! "Hang on, did you say dragon? You talkin' about the pink-haired martial artist guy or a real one?" If there was a dragon out there, Yogu wanted to kill it. That'd be some cool shit right there, Yogu The Dragon Slayer! He could do it, too, especially knowing that he's got power like that waiting to get used! Hell, he could defeat anything! As long as this stuff was still pumping through his spine, at least.

The boy basks in the destruction of the building like warm rays of sunlight, "Ahhh, and I'm just gettin' warmed up! This is gonna be fun!" Watching someone else squirm and be on the back foot for once was satisfying. This must've been how Lottus felt, throwing Yogu and his buddies around. He really got it now that he was in the guy's shoes. This was exhilarating, like nothing else!

The doc got to his knees and told him to look at what he'd done, "Yeah, I know. Pretty great, right? Couldn't have done it without ya, doc!" The man tried to pull at Yogu's heartstrings. Unfortunately, "Ya see doc, you're not dealin' with the kid you juiced up. He went away. You're dealin' with..." He thinks for a moment, "Suppose you can call me Mister Hyde for now. 'Til I come up with something better. Anyway, Mister Hyde is pissed at ya, sure, but most of all... HE WANTS TO BURN IT ALL DOWN! BWAHAHAHA!" It was a deep, throaty laugh that sounded nothing like the kid. The man-monster launches himself at Sen once more, another shoulder check dead-center. If he's successful, he grabs his punching bag by the foot as it's flung backward. Yogu slams the tuffle face-first into the rubble, over and over.

Deep inside the boy's subconscious, alarm bells were ringing. This was seriously bad. Cops would be showing up in no time! And he was a very public figure right now! The repercussions for this will be enormous, but they'd get much worse if he didn't get a grip soon!
