Saiba Sighting (Open)

It didn't seem like Gandigan had any questions, and was primed to continue. "Good, now then, don't go overboard or you'll have ta start over." Zuqetta would explain, crossing her arms as she eyed the Saibaman up and down, "I'd say even while you were suppressed, this guy's barely at a percent of that. Utterly useless in battle-" She'd remark with a sigh, "The soil on Earth is SO much better for growing Saiba's, heh, maybe you had a point in how this world breeds its inhabitants." She'd laugh, her tail beatng firmly against the ground, startling the Saibaman.

"Let's not waste anymore time, Lodi, attack." Zuqetta would command, prompting the Saibaman to widen its stance, giving snarls and clicks as it sized Gandigan up.

"Kekekekekeeee!! REEEEEEE!" With a high pitched shriek it would lunge at the Namekian, woefully unaware of just how outmatched it was. The purpose of this wasn't for it to win however, in fact, losing was the only way it could establish Gandigan as its new master. Once defeated, it would be up to Gandigan to treat the creature as a person rather than a monster, but that was assuming the Namekian didn't completely destroy the Saiba with his first attack. Lodi had lunged at Gandigan with his claw outstretched, aiming for the eyes of the Namekian in the hopes of causing immediate, crippling pain.

Luckily, Lodi wouldn't have to worry about suffering pain at the hands of Gandigan, as the instant the Namekian's fist made contact with the creature, the Saibaman would be instantly destroyed. Turned to less than even mush as the impact of power basically evaporated the creature into a smoke, leaving the playing Saiba-pups to look on curiously.

Zuqetta would stare blankly for a moment, before bursting out into laughter. "So your that "never holds back" type then?" She'd remark, doing her best to contain her laughter, "Yer not quite there in terms of the "dominate them" part, but you'll get it if you can figure out how to hold back more. We'll just have to plant another and try again, we can use the same name honestly." She'd remark as she performed the same actions as before, "Oh, and as for why I'm planting them, its to help you force the Saiba to recognize you as its master. After all, the wild ones aren't planted by you either."

The Saiba would grow, proceeding to react in the same way as its unfortunate predecessor, only for the same steps to be taken as before. The three would be back to square one, or square two if naming it counted as square one, and Zuqetta would order the new Lodi to strike. New Lodi would perform almost exactly the same as the first, but this one aiming to rush in towards Gandigan's gut rather than his eyes.

Zuqetta watched intently, curious of how the Namekian would subdue the new Lodi; what came next wasn't something she could have expected however. The Saibaman was pulled into a hug of all things, and by the looks of how the creature squirmed while his eyes bulged, it seemed to be quite the powerful hug. Zuqetta couldn't help but to laugh, dropping to her knees as she clenched her abdomen; this sight being one of the most precious, and hilarious things she could have seen today.

"I mean, it's not a bad effort by any means!" She'd exclaim, doing her best to contain her laughter, "But since you've got a grip on him, try slamming him into the ground. Without popping him of course!" She'd say, giving the best advice she could, "You want to beat him like you were training a fellow fighter, once he's out of energy and can no longer fight, he'll recognize your superiority!"

She hoped the advice would help, but at the same time she was unsure if it was needed. The Saibaman looked pretty terrified in Gandigan's grip, so it was likely that once he let it go it might immediately grovel for mercy. A thought that had Zuqetta laughing all the more as she imagined it, dominating a Saiba with the power of hugs!

Akin to a pro-wrestler, Gandigan handled the situation swift and efficiently. The impact into the ground was loud, almost enough to make Zuqetta feel sorry for the creature as she watched it lay there motionlessly, staring into the sky with it's mouth agape. This was all for the greater good however, assuming this Saiba lived long enough to grow better understanding and intellect, she was sure it would one day thank them.

"Hmm, well it ain't moving, but it doesn't look like it passed out." She'd say, walking up to the two and examining the saiba more closely, "C'mon Lodi, attack!" She'd yell, watching as the Saiba's gaze wandered towards her, then towards Gandigan. The creature would immediately begin shivering, clearly in fear of what might happen should it attempt to attack Gandigan in its current position. Zuqetta would give a smile, it seemed like the submission was a complete success.

"It doesn't want to, looks like you won." She'd remark, crossing her arms as she gave Gandigan a triumphant nod, "Very efficient! Ok, now's the part every Sadalan will judge you for, help the guy up and treat him like a person." She'd say plainly, "Oh, don't forget to tell him that you're his new master. He has to understand your relationship with him otherwise he'll grow wild overtime and might try to attack you." She'd explain with a sigh, "Ya can't be friends with him unfortunately, its a master servant relationship. But that doesn't mean you can't still treat him with the respect you'd show a fellow Namekian while being his master, ya know?"

Thinking about it to herself, Zuqetta was curious of how a Namekian raised Saibaman might adapt compared to a Saiyan raised one. Would it have greater strides in combat prowess? Perhaps better understanding and intellectual capabilities? She hoped Gandigan would consider keeping Lodi even after this lesson was over, but she didn't want to force a Saibaman on him, and so would keep the idea to herself.

Zuqetta watched as Gandigan helped up the Saibaman, giving him a thumbs up as he he made the position between him and Lodi clear. As Lodi was lifted, he would first have a look of confusion on his face. Gandigan's commanding voice would snap him to attention however, and while it wasn't immediately apparent at first that it understood the Namekians words, its swift nods once Gandigan finished would clear up any misunderstandings.

"Congratulations!" Zuqetta would say enthusiastically, "You've successfully tamed your first Saibaman. It's as simple as that, though for the time being, don't expect to be holding any lengthy conversations over tea." She'd joke, "This guy of course won't know nothin' about Ban, but that isn't to say some either Saiba won't. Now, it's just a matter of luck in finding the right one. Also, they won't be able to communicate with you immediately, it'll take some time for them to adapt. Still, compared to how long it takes things like humans to grow and learn, Saiba's adapt MUCH quicker."

Zuqetta would toss the bad of saiba-seeds, along with the vial of strange green liquid over towards Gandigan. Buying more from the market would be easy enough, and if he thought of having a personal small guard of Namek grown Saibamen, then that might be pretty interesting.

"Consider that your reward for a job well done! You can grow 'em pretty much anywhere there's soil, the more fertile the soil, the stronger the Saiba. Just don't go overboard, lest-" She'd say, before gesturing to the acid lake and puddles around them, "-in any case, you can tame the saiba-beasts too. Quadrupeds are the easiest in my experience, the more reptilian however are a bit more persistent. Probably a pack mentality thing." She'd explain, giving a sudden sigh as she looked over towards the pups, "Unfortunately, you won't get any info out of them. It doesn't seem like they're capable of speech, I dunno if they simply lack the vocal cords to do so, or if they're just not intelligent enough. It seems like they understand me well enough, but I could just be personifying their reactions."

Zuqetta would call over the mama wolf once more, giving the creature more pets as the pups rushed over to play and receive the same.

"It's honestly a bit disappointing, I met a saiba-raptor who was capable of speech, though they did seem to struggle with it a bit. Even if they can't speak with me though, I can't hate these little guys." she'd say, nuzzling her forehead into the mama wolf's again before looking over towards Gandigan and Lodi, "So, what's the plan now? Taming stray Saiba after Saiba might be tedious, but it's probably your best bet of finding one that knows him. Beyond that, if you're just looking for Ban in general, them you might wanna try hittin' up enterprises, the guy was a businessman after all."

Gandigan asked about where the lake of acid originated, a question that caused a small bead of sweat to roll down the side of Zuqetta face. "Weeeeeeeell-" She'd begin, looking towards one of the pups and selecting it as her example, "Heyhey! Staaaay-" Zuqetta would command, prompting the little pup to begin following her orders, "Sit! Lay. Now roll over!" She'd gesture with her finger the actions she wanted the pup to perform, while the pup performed on cue, displaying how well trained a saiba-creature could potentially be, "Good girl! Here's your treat!"

Zuqetta would pull out a small wrapped item from her belt line, unwrapping it to reveal some dried meat. Tossing it towards the pup, a possible unexpected sight would occur, as the pup's jaw would open up in three directions, revealing its previously unseen mouth. Quickly it would gobble up its treat of dried meat, all the while drooling acid from its mouth that pooled into a tiny puddle on the ground in front of it. Once finished, it would lick whatever constituted as lips for it, before its mouth would seal back up.

"Heh, another reason they're not allowed in the cave." She'd laugh nervously, wondering if Gandigan found the realization of the acid lake gross, "Don't worry, not ALL the acid of the saiba-pits are from pup drool!" She'd tried to reassure, "Lodi there is capable of opening up his head and spitting acid from it if you command him to!"

She wasn't sure if that was reassuring at all, and so would push past it to address the Saiba-Ban remark, "As for Ban, the biggest recommendation would be to check in with the President of Earth or his staff. It was well over a year ago, but once when I visit Earth, Ban was rounding up powered individuals to make them register themselves under Earths accords." she'd explain, though how Gandigan would manage to meet with the president however would be completely up to him, even Zuqetta hadn't managed that.

“If it’s claimed by anyone, it’d be idiots-” Zuqetta would remark with a huff, “-anytime one side tries to do anything anywhere in the central wastes that separate the Vegeta Region and the Tuffle Region, someone from the opposite side always comes to stop them.” she’d explain, recalling what led Amara to Sadala the day the crown was challenged. With Gandigan’s follow up question on Ban however, Zuqetta felt a bit of disappointment in herself for the actions taken that day.

“Ironically, the two questions kinda go hand in hand-” She’d begin, choosing to take a seat against the mama wolf while she played with the pups, “I’ve met Ban a few times, though no encounter besides one in Sadala was all too memorable. I couldn’t tell you anything about his life on Earth, but he was always the type to jump at an opportunity if he saw one.” She’d explain, giving a heavy sigh as she decided to be a bit more honest.

“Thing is, a while back I tried to take the crown from Taori. I won’t bore you with the specifics, in case you were curious, Taori didn’t show, and Amara became the Queen. But there’s a little more to what went on that day than most people know, and I guess I probably let Ban down that day-” Her frustration showed on her face while her tail twitched with agitation, attracting the Saiba-pups into pawing at it, “Ban took part as well, he wanted to claim the crown and then lead his people to freedom by claiming the wastelands. No one attending took him seriously though. I tried to calm him down before someone there disintegrated him, and even promised to help him claim the wastelands if I succeeded in claiming the crown.”

Zuqetta paused, annoyed with her past self and her indecisiveness. Everything was a game to her back then, and a small part of her now wondered if she was steadily spiraling into insanity. Between the actions she took, her constant disguises, and her constant plots and schemes, it was a wonder no one had come out to straight up kill her. Even Taori had taken mercy at Zerori’s request, choosing not to label her a war criminal despite the fact she’d clearly stood against him when his army attacked the Tuffles, whether he remembered that or not.

“As is pretty obvious, I didn’t get the crown, and so I never bothered to help Ban. In fact, when last I saw him, I did the opposite. He tried to free captured Saibamen that were used for battle from an outpost, and I stood firmly against him.” She’d explain further, “I didn’t actually fight him myself, honestly I thought he might flee the moment I showed. He didn't though, the prideful bastard, and then he ended up fighting a man named Dark to the death… err, well I guess if you saw him only a few months ago, it wasn’t a death that stuck.” She’d finish with a laugh, allowing Gandigan the chance to process the story.

"Hey, if he didn't threaten to kill all the Saiyans there, I wouldn't have cared." Zuqetta would remark with a shrug, taking notice of Gandigans cute reaction of protecting Lodi from the information, "Heck, I was surprised if anything. For a businessman, her sure sucked at THAT particular negotiation. He coulda just flashed some zeni at those guys back then and bought up all the saiba's, instead he insulted me so I refused to leave." she'd explain, "Petty? Sure, but it's not like I'm the one who fought him anyways." she'd say with a slight blush, remembering Dark's valiant display against Ban as the sweat glistened off his toned-

Zuqetta would quickly shake her head, clearing her throat before continuing. "Ahem, but as I said before, I was a different person back them. An idiot Saiyan child who just wanted to start trouble. Even when I wanted to do good I caused trouble, and even now I'm sure to cause some trouble whether I mean to or not, shit just happens that way." she'd say with a rather contemplative expression, "I don't know if I really wanted the crown back then, or a fight, or anything. I can tell you with certainty that in this particular moment, I don't. I won't be challenging Taori for the crown any time soon, but I promise to be there if someone else does." She'd finish, leaving a not so subtle hint to her intentions should any have chosen to confront Taori in the future.
