Gandigan had gone off the rails, those it was something Zuqetta had mostly expected; she'd already dealt with the types who drew their own conclusions, failed to listen, and/or were simply too blinded by their own ambitions to see things from a more "down to earth" expression, as the Earthlings would say. Her expression hardly changed as Gandigan went on his explosive tirade, though she did raise a brow as she steadily drunk her lemonade; staring down at the glass curiously as he finished speaking.
"Man, I don't think lemonade is gonna cut if for this conversation-" she'd mutter to herself, but felt too lazy to get up to grab another capsule with a stronger drink, "Hey, I ain't gonna tell ya ta simmer down, but I think you're continuing to misunderstand things." She'd remark, leaning forward and cupping her cheeks into her hands as she looked up towards Gandigan with narrow eyes, "First, I never said your personal mission to hunt down Lottus was THE Namekian way; but whether you like it or not, whether you want to do it or not, you've made it YOUR way. You could easily give up on people, give up on the universe, on Earthlings, on your fellow Namekians, on anyone you want. But you haven't; your conviction has you going after the monster Lottus, and so for the time being, this has become YOUR way." She'd explain, speaking slowly and clearly, hoping Gandigan would try to understand her point.
She became fidgety in her seat, her tail swaying from side to side a bit anxiously as she felt her Saiyan blood become heated. Her instincts told her something fun was about to happen, but the more straight-laced side of her mind told her to remain calm lest she ostracize someone else again and simply prove how violent any and every Saiyan could be.
"Also, I made no such claim that "most Saiyans are quite peaceable" or that you personally thought we were a plague, those are what's called "expressions". I'm well aware of how violent my kind can be, I'm also well aware that Earthlings are mostly corrupt politicians, Arcosians are planet enslaving snobs, and Konatsians are drug trafficking thugs-" She'd explain before listing off the galaxy stereotypes; purposefully leaving out any stereotype of Namekian's lest she simply infuriate the man further.
While she might have sounded sarcastic as she'd mentioned expressions, she was honestly curious of whether or not the concept was well known amongst Namekians. Gandigan had been speaking in a "putting words in your mouth" manner for some time now, which made Zuqetta take a step back in the conversation to address it properly. "Sorry if I confused you, I'll try ta cut it with the hyperbole and speak clearly-" she'd say, straightening up as she continued, "-as for my attitude? Well, I showed sympathy when I was younger, and I paid the price for it. I neither expect you to feel sympathy nor weep should the universe deem my people die. But you don't intend to draw any of your people into the fight against Lottus, yeah? Then don't try convincing me to do it."
Zuqetta released a deep breath, she wasn't at the point of snapping, and hardly felt such emotions as of late anyways, but the conversation had certainly become trying. Every fiber of her being told her to just beat the shit out of the guy in front of her, but that wasn't what she wanted, and at the moment that was what she was trying to follow. She thought of stirring the pot a bit more, of asking Gandigan where he was and why he didn't help when Blizzard struck Sadala. At this point however, it felt as though such a question would be stooping to a lesser level, and whether Gandigan cared or not as hardly something Zuqetta even cared about.
"Did you ever meet with the Saiyan King?" Zuqetta would ask suddenly, not trying to change the topic but certainly trying to redirect it, "You're the King of your people, and you don't intend to get your people involved in the fight with Lottus. So of all the Saiyans you could be trying to convince to get involved, rather than a no-name like me, don't you think HE should be the one you should convince?" She'd ask, giving Gandigan a bit more of a thoughtful expression, "He's pretty strong, if you're lookin' for an ally with any chance at all of defeating Lottus, then either he or the first guy ta lay Lottus out would be the best choice."
Zuqetta maintained her cool throughout her response, not meeting Gandigan's growing fury with her a similar fury. She had no reason to be hostile, but would these new remarks cause Gandigan to final blow his lid? Zuqetta nearly wanted to crack a smile or even laugh at the thought, if Gandigan really did pop after all, he'd have been more of a Saiyan in the situation than Zuqetta was being.
