Leaving Namek had been difficult. As much as Gandigan had accepted what he needed to do in his mind, actually moving forward had given him more trouble than he had expected. He felt bad about leaving the Mazoku behind so quickly, leaving them in the hands of Marimba when he had promised them his own support. But in his mind there was nothing greater that he could for them than killing Lottus; they just had to be able to accept that.
The risk of death can much easier to Gandigan. He had come and gone from the afterlife more than once thanks to the use of Guiding Candles, so he already knew what to expect. Now that he knew what he needed to do, he just needed to figure out where Lottus was. The first stop in mind was Plant, where the Saiyan and Namekian had first encountered each other. He didn't have any evidence to suggest that Lottus would still be there, but with nothing else to work with it was all he had.
Gandigan's first stop would be probably the most important: the Saiyan palace. Gandigan had been there once before and had encountered Zuci who answered a few of his questions, but ultimately left him feeling unsatisfied. Now he was interested in meeting the King himself, who Gandigan had been unable to speak to last time. After attempting to go the diplomatic route and failing, Gandigan had decided to follow Zuqetta's advice: threaten death.
Walking up to the palace with his crown upon his head, Gandigan made his intentions to the guards very clear. "You will take me to the Saiyan King or I'll take each of you to Hell. Which is it going to be?"
