Cabasa was expecting - no, she wanted a brutal counterattack from Gandigan. Instead of this, the king fell to the ground like a disgraced noble being stripped of his titles of royalty. This cowardice, this submission drew a sneer of disgust from Cabasa. The teal Mazoku was visibly enraged by the fake display, wiry veins arcing her visage growing purple thanks to the influx of blood drawn by her livid state.

"THAT IS ENOUGH?" Back when they spared in the forest of the Outer Plait, Cabasa said something very similar to Gandigan. Her liege proved absolutely merciless back then, forcing their fight into a beautiful protracted brawl for survival. This is the Gandigan who earned her loyalty, not the groveling slug struggling to get up and showing her his back like an absolute fool.

"THIS IS NOT A VICTORY UNTIL I SAID IT IS! RAAAAAAARGH!" Cabasa lashed out with an indignant roar, falling in Gandigan's trap maybe a little too well; the satisfying whack was heard again as Gandigan's balled up fists made contact with Cabasa's jaw, sending her flying away until she crashed in a boulder made from volcanic rock.

"..." The savage warrior was stuck in a wide-eyed state, parsing what just happened. Was her king not above the likes of cheap, underhanded tactics? Apparently not. This revelation brought immense mirth to Cabasa, causing her body to convulse and her laughter to explode alongside lava geysers perforating through soil made from obsidian littered with ashes. "BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Excellent ruse, my king." Not wanting to play the part of a bootlicking sycophant for long, Cabasa got up with an explosive kip-up.

"Let's see how you handle this!" A tribute to her fight against the Saiyan Zuci; replicating what she did in her Ozaru form but to a smaller scale, Cabasa sank her claws in the obsidian plateau they were standing on and began to exert herself. "NGHRAAAAARHG!" With her sinewy arm plastrons visibly bulging, Cabasa tore a massive chunk of the ground that she hauled overhead with great effort. Then, she tossed the thing at Gandigan, hoping to submerge him with the resulting debris.

Gandigan's ruse worked perfectly, allowing him to catch Cabasa off guard and easily land his strike. He might have let out a laugh if it had ended the battle, but Cabasa was far from done. "When fighting against the Saiyans you'll need to take advantage of anything you can. They're stronger than you. They're faster than you and they have more fighting experience than you do. You think you can beat them with raw strength alone? You think that Gira and Zuci are the worst of it? You haven't even gotten close to the worst."

Gira and Zuci were like house cats compared to the Saiyan lion. How could he even begin to explain to it the strength that a true Saiyan warrior possessed without Cabasa seeing it first hand? "Hopefully by the time we're done here you'll begin to understand just what it is I'm talking about."

When Cabasa dug it's hands into the grounds Gandigan prepared to defend himself. The strength to rip from the plateau was immense, but he was ready. As the boulder came in Gandigan brought his arm forward, before summoning a blade of Ki to surround it. Just before contact the Mazoku Lord would unleash of a fury of swings and slashes, cutting the obsidian to pieces before continuing to launch more strikes headed for Cabasa.

Again, Gandigan tried to teach another lesson to Cabasa amidst their clash. This time, however, it fell on deaf ears; Cabasa had a hunch that these so-called "Super" Saiyans were approximately as strong as Gandigan, but it mattered little at the moment since the goal of today's exercise was to exhaust herself. "I WITNESSED THE BRUNT OF NERO'S STRENGTH, GANDIGAN! INDEED, I KNOW JUST HOW POWERFUL THESE SUPER SAIYANS CAN GET." They were mightier ones like Lottus who Gandigan planned to face really soon, but Cabasa didn't know about that.

"But it matters not, for my goal during your absence will be to push myself, reach my limits, and break them! Marimba and Gira will see to that." Having Marimba be in close proximity to Cabasa was not a bad thing given the unpredictable aspect of the Teal Mazoku's savage nature. However, the same couldn't be said from the naive and influenceable Gira. Hopefully, the three of them would spar as a team.

Much to Cabasa's surprise, Gandigan slashed through the gigantic boulder she hurled at him, coming out from it with a blade of ki at the ready. She needed to react quickly, lest she'd get her skin torn to shreds. Cabasa curled up in a ball, a dark cloud of spore-like particles coming out from her mouth to surround her body with a shadowy cocoon that hardened. Her chrysalis was radiating an absolutely vile energy signature, but it wasn't enough to stop the Daimyo's ki blade to bore through the barrier. Gandigan heard the soft squelch of blood spurting out from the newly opened wound he inflicted on Cabasa who still lied at the other end of her sarcophagus of dark energy.

A sharp tearing noise made itself heard; Cabasa ejected herself from the top of her cocoon, bursting through its brittle surface that turned to dust. With familiar purple flames dancing around the adducted fingers of her right hand the she rose above her head, it was clear what her intentions were. "RAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" The winged demoness tackled Gandigan, intending to shove the flaming spear formed by her hand deep in his stomach.

"Nero? You think Nero can teach you how to fight a Saiyan?" Nero was powerful; one of the most powerful defenders that Namek was graced with. But even his power paled in comparison to Lottus. No doubt there would be other Saiyans too like Taori who's power was probably on a similar level. "Even if Nero matched the power of the Saiyans, which he does not, he'd also fail to match their ferocity. Forget whatever it was that Nero showed you. None of that will help you on Plant."

Cabasa attempted to shield herself from the Mazoku Lord's incoming attack, producing a cocoon against the incoming blades of Ki. But her defense was quickly overwhelmed by his might, cutting through the cocoon and leaving behind a mess of blood to go along with it. A strong blow left a heavy wound, but Cabasa was resilient. He knew the Mazoku would be ready for more, so he prepared himself for what was to come next.

Cabasa tore through the cocoon and took to the air, producing a technique similar to Gandigan's except for instead of a blade it was a flaming spear, which it brought down upon him with a diving charge. Gandigan attempted to bring his arms up to catch the incoming attack, but he was too slow; the spear slipped through his fingers and drove into his chest, digging through his muscle and bone and bringing out it's own splash of blood.

The Mazoku King collapsed to the ground with Cabasa on top of him. First he got to work regeneration the wound; slowly the muscle regrew, before strands of skin formed over top. Taking several deep breaths he paused before giving Cabasa some praise. "Not bad. You found a good opportunity to attack." He patted his chest. "If only I weren't Namekian, eh?" Gandigan would attempt to lock arms with Cabasa, not wanting the creature to fly away too quickly.

If he were able to grab hold he would bring his head up and drive it into the face of Cabasa. He'd keep going as long as he could, landing as many times as he could until Cabasa could escape his grip.

If Gandigan and Cabasa had to agree on one point about the Guru, it was how his strength didn't correlate with his warrior spirit. Yes, he was amongst Namek's strongests, but his merciful nature was a crutch slowing him and his people down. If anything, Cabasa wouldn't be against a little regicide to replace him, but she preferred keeping these nefarious thoughts to herself due to the ostensibly friendly relationship Gandigan maintained with Nero.

What worried her, however, was how Nero supposedly didn't even match the Saiyans in might. Such a statement was extremely hard to believe. No matter, their fight continued in full force with Cabasa's spear finding its mark, drawing out a bloody ichor that brought a hungering flame to Cabasa's crimson eyes. Sadly, that gruesome sight wouldn't last, for Gandigan's regenerative prowess kicked in, closing the nasty gash in an instant. At least there was praise to be received, which galvanized the Teal Mazoku. Despite this approval from her king, she knew better than to grow complacent; the fight was far from over.

"GRAAAGH!" Cabasa intercepted Gandigan's arms that lanced forward, interlocking her fingers with his in a contest of strength, a crude waltz that saw both participants' limbs push and shake against each other. "GAN-" Cabasa was nailed by the headbutt right where her nose should have been -that unsightly mutation of hers actually proved useful for once- and reeled back thanks to the influx of pain shooting through the nerve endings spreading across her skull. She could have tried to wriggle out from the embrace, but instead she showed extreme obstinacy and met each of Gandigan's following headbutts with one of her own.

Their foreheads came to crash together repetitively with loud whip-like cracks creating shockwaves causing the soil beneath their bodies to fissure and buckle, forming an ever growing crater. A line of blood was leaking from her forehead at this point, but she kept going like a frenzied maniac, trying to gain any possible advantage over her king by trying to spit blood in his eyes or sink her claws in the gap between his knuckles.

The two Mazoku were locked in a vicious cycle, slamming their faces into each other until their foreheads bleed out onto the others. Eventually Gandigan's paced slowed as he realized he couldn't win the battle like this. The Mazoku King tried to pull out of Cabasa's grasp, but as this forced lower energy level he found himself unable to do so. Failing to escape, Gandigan would instead attempt to pull himself into Cabasa, hopefully cutting off some of the momentum the Mazoku could build up for it's headbutts.

Cabasa's furiousness in the attack was something that reminded him of Lottus, though it was a shame their powers weren't closer. If Gandigan didn't have to hold himself back then this could make for the most useful training he could get for the fight against Lottus. The Mazoku actually fought much more like a Saiyan than Gira did, which made him wonder where it was Cabasa had come from, and who had raised it up like this. The brief story he had been told was murky at best, and didn't really answer any of the questions he had.

While these thoughts circulated through the head of Gandigan the Namekian had been gathering energy, waiting for the opportunity to strike. Once fully charged he pulled his head back and fired his Shugeki Wave point blank at Cabasa, hoping to pry the alien from his body. If he were able to get free then Gandigan would jump back to his feet and follow Cabasa into the air, bringing his arms up over his head and driving them into the Mazoku's gut.

Wrenching himself out of Cabasa's embrace without expending much energy proved almost impossible. On the bright side, bringing his figure closer to Cabasa's worked in the intended way, diminishing the momentum accumulated by each and every single one of her headbutts. Cabasa spat and hissed like a ferocious beast, clamoring for more gore. "What is this?!?!?! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?! SHAKE ME OFF OR DIE!" Eventually, Gandigan had enough of this situation that led nowhere and opened his maw to fire a Shugeki wave at Cabasa, an attack she was now very familiar with.

"GRAAAAGH!" Cabasa howled in pain as her face was cast in the glow of the mouth beam forcing her off Gandigan. As she rubbed her eyes and tried to snuff the flames eating away at her antennas, the Mazoku King capitalized on this opening to smash Cabasa in the gut with his fists. With the wind knocked out of her, Cabasa plummeted to the ground with a panicked thrash of her wings.

She hit the hard surface face-first, her fangs gnashed together in anger; she was able to taste the metallic tang of her own blood swimming across her tongue and leaking from her gums. Cabasa held up a hand against her chest and began to channel energy, her purple aura flaring to even wider degrees! "CHŌŌŌŌŌŌŌŌŌŌŌ" She straightened herself up and pounced in the air toward Gandigan with a mighty flap of her unfurled wings.

"MARENGEKIII!" She charged him viciously, trying to embed her skull in his stomach. Whether this headbutt charge worked or not, Cabasa would have followed up by uppercutting Gandigan with the flaming spear created by her hand with the hopes of sinking her fingers in the flesh of his chin to hook them around his mandible to fling the Daimyo at the obsidian disc. "LET'S GO ALL OUT; NERO WILL FIX YOU UP!" It would be unfortunate to have to end this clash so soon... Cabasa was having a blast, as demonstrated by her loud voice devolving in a sadistic cackle.

Gandigan's escape attempt worked like a charm, knocking Cabasa off of him while dealing a good amount of damage with his Shugeki Wave. For a moment Gandigan stood and alone; rather than try and capitalize on what had happened he choose to instead recover as much as he could. His body was feeling weak; his energy spent. Even if Cabasa was young, it proved to be an excellent fighter. If he wasn't being forced to hold his power back then he might actually have something to fear here.

But pulling out his true power was always something he had in his back pocket. It would make him feel ill having to resort to that, but with an enemy like Cabasa you could never really know how safe a simple 'spar' was supposed to be. A few seconds of rest was all that Cabasa would give him; he could sense it's energy rising quickly now, with another big attack heading his way.

But Gandigan was still spent. When Cabasa charged he had little to offer in the way of defense. It began with a head first charged, which saw the Mazoku collided into Gandigan's gut. That alone would have been enough to send Gandigan flying, but Cabasa quickly followed it up with another flaming spear, this time delivered as an uppercut to the jaw. The flaming spear split Gandigan's jaw in two, forcing the Mazoku Lord to reach up with both hands to hold the separate pieces together.

Gandigan found himself landing a good distance back, and now in critical condition. If he moved his hands away from his jaw for even a second they'd rip apart, and that would surely be the end of him. He could maybe try and regenerate again, but there was no telling how much energy would be required to seal this wound up.

But the Mazoku King wasn't ready to concede just yet. Hopping back to his feet, Gandigan would fly forward back to where Cabasa stood, ready to engage with his feet alone. Leaning backwards in the air, he would start by attempting a flying dropkick to Cabasa's chin. Whether or not he succeeded Gandigan would continue his two footed onslaught, launching whatever variety of kicks he could.

What happened to Gandigan was absolutely gruesome, if not outright revulsing; his jaw was not dislocated but actually split in two. Cabasa's spear hand, her Chō Marengeki, was truly a wicked technique and the nasty injury preventing the Daimyo from talking was tangible proof of that. Many people possessing empathy would have stopped the fight right away to seek medical attention or throw up at the sight, but Cabasa only laughed at her craft.

"What is it, my beloved king; has the Mazoku got your tongue? BWAHAHAHAHA!" She should have shown more respect considering that the man she was fighting was her king and MASSIVELY holding back his power. Alas, Cabasa's hubris got the best out of her. Perhaps as a sign of mercy or some twisted joke, she offered her monarch a chance to give up and tend to his wounds. "Why not surrender and go tend to your wounds, Gandigan? After all, you must be spent with how you already regenerated~"

Gandigan wouldn't fall for these taunts and remained unwavering, lashing out at his mocking subject with a fierce dropkick considering his critical condition. Cabasa crossed her arms together in a "x", hardening her pink plastrons that withstood the fierceness of his dropkick that created a shockwave momentarily forcing the two fighters to back away from each other. Then, came a waltz of claws and kicks initiated by Gandigan. Not wanting to be TOO unfair, Cabasa only used her arms for her assault, answering her king's moves with the perfect parry and blocking motions.

Eventually, Cabasa would tire of matching Gandigan's kicks with her claw strikes. Instead, she tried to grab her king by one of his ankles to swing him around. If she was able to find this opportunity to build up momentum, she would have followed with a spinning dive toward the obsidian disc to slam Gandigan on the ground with extreme force.

Yes, she was definitely a cunning and talented fighter in spite of both her young age and brutality.

Cabasa matched Gandigan's kicks by only using it's arms, making the Mazoku King even more annoyed. He didn't need the likes of Cabasa holding anything back from him, but this was apparently the situation he now found himself in. The two would be locked in a stalemate for some time until finally Cabasa broke away, grabbing a hold of Gandigan's ankles and slamming him into the ground. While his arms were still out of commission there wasn't a whole lot he could do against the grab attack.

Gandigan made a hard impact into the obsidian disc below, but when it came time for Cabasa to dive he would roll out of the way, hoping that the momentum would carry it all the way down into the disc itself. From them Gandigan would get back to his feet and use whatever energy he had gathered into another regeneration attempt. He had to focus every last bit of this one into repairing his jaw, else he had no chance of winning this battle.

Just as with his wound across the chest, Gandigan's jaw would quickly close up with new bone, muscle and flesh all forming in order. It would take only a few seconds until the Mazoku King could release his hands away from his mouth and finally speak again. "You ever hit me like that again and I'll kill you." Now free to use his arms again, Gandigan would attempt to mimic Cabasa by grabbing at the ankles before slamming into the ground.

Credit where credit is due: Gandigan took Cabasa's grappling assault fairly well despite the pitiful, handicapped condition he was in. With a last minute roll, he evaded the Teal Mazoku's potentially lethal dive. Even though Cabasa was pulling back her punches, there was something absolutely visceral about her fighting style, almost as if every single motion was a calculated move working toward the shattering of bones or the tearing of ligaments.

Gandigan commented on that, letting Cabasa know that he wouldn't let her run away with her life if she was to maim him like that again. Amused, Cabasa chuckled and offered what she considered to be an apology while eyeing him with curiosity. "Yeah, yeah... got carried away; can't help it when I'm fighting such an exciting opponent! Also, is it just me or you regenerated AGAIN?" A rhethorical question, but facts remained that the regenerative prowess displayed by Gandigan was well beyond what Cabasa knew of normal Namekians. "Fascinating..." Perhaps now was not the proper time to be in awe, for Gandigan was quick on the approach, sweeping Cabasa off her feet by grabbing her ankles.

"HEY! G-GET O-" Cabasa was cut mid-sentence by her face hitting the obsidian plate, again, again, and again. Gandigan probably had the opportunity to let loose some pent-up frustration for the small amount of time Cabasa was left open, weaving her around like a nunchuk only to slam her body against the obsidian disc, tainting it with splatters of her blood.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAGH!" She extended one of her arms forward, aiming to chop Gandigan in the throat to hopefully coax a gagging reflex and fly out from his grasp with hectically beating wings.

Gandigan's ability to regenerate was unique even among Namekians. After he had been poisoned by Amon he went to great lengths to try and re-gain his regeneration ability, and through that training he was able to find even deeper levels that most Namekians were never even aware. He expected that if most dedicated themselves in the same way that he had then they'd probably be able to get there as well, but most probably weren't capable of that. It was among the most difficult things he'd ever done, and it required sacrificing progress in other areas.

His grab attack was successful, which resulted in Cabasa being slammed over and over again into the obsidian. As fun as it was to throw Cabasa around like that, it was also extremely tiring and something that Gandigan wasn't going to be able to keep up forever. Cabasa would bring things to an end itself by chopping at Gandigan's throat, which knocked the Mazoku off balance and forced him to release his grip.

The cut wasn't so deep as the flaming spear's had been, but it was enough to draw blood. Gandigan had to move quickly in order to keep momentum on his side, so the Mazoku King leapt into the air and unleashed a barrage of Ki strikes aimed to completely level the ground beneath him. He had never unleashed a Maelstrom as large as this one before, but he had to try and cover the entire disc else risk letting Cabasa slip away.

As Cabasa flew away from Gandigan after eluding his grip, she thought that she was safe until she saw the Mazoku king zoom past her. It is with bloodshot eyes widening in a mix of concern and apprehension that she put her arms in front of herself, trying to harden her plastrons to tank the incoming blow. This time, however, Gandigan's barrage of ki blast proved too swift for Cabasa to react.

"HYAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" The ki projectile that pinned her to the disc was followed by many, many others, causing a large cloud of dust to obscure the magically-enhanced disc now cracking under the yoke of such an oppressive bombardment. Cabasa's body was utterly rattled, tossed around like a vulgar insect being played with by a merciless predator. When Gandigan finally stopped his energy flurry, Cabasa was left agonizing, the cloud of smoke eventually clearing out to reveal many deep cuts and holes riddling her wings that she used as a shield. They were now in tatters, probably unusable any further.

With a hoarse cough, Cabasa propped herself up on a quivering arm, returning to a semblance of "straightness" with her figure hunched due to the fatigue building up after this fierce offensive she barely lived through. "HURK-" A pool of blood she puked out congregated at her feet, then she looked up at Gandigan with a lidded gaze. "I'd gladly say something about killing you if you were to try that again, but it's all part of the game, you know." How snarky, prodding fun at Gandigan's last remark.

Cabasa apposed her hands to her spine and cracked her back with an audible sigh of relief. "What a doozy~" She then swiftly opened her maw and jutted her head toward Gandigan to shoot a series of weak mouth waves at him. The attacks were more of a distraction than anything else seeing how Cabasa's weakening aura was now gaining back some traction, some luster, indicating that she was building up her energy for something big.

Gandigan's Maelstrom scattered across the obsidian disc, covering all that the eye could see. For a moment he forgot that this was a spar, and pushed as hard as he could to finish things off. He fired his Maelstrom until his hands bled and his eyes began to falter, until finally he couldn't push anymore and was forced to drop the attack. From there he was so tired he almost fell into the disc, collapsing through the smoke and landing hard on the cold surface below.

When the dust cleared he saw Cabasa as bad as he had ever seen it. The Mazoku lay looking dead, but Gandigan knew better. While the Mazoku King would crawl back to his feet and begin to approach Cabasa would fire off a few energy waves from it's mouth at him. Gandigan brought his arm up to cover himself from the incoming blasts, which gave Cabasa some time to recover from the last attack.

"I hope you've got something better than that waiting for me, else this battle is surely over." He expected that Cabasa was likely preparing for something big, which was good. He wanted for Cabasa to hit him with something strong. He wanted to Cabasa to throw everything it could at him only to fail. When he finally moved past the energy waves Gandigan wouldn't attack at all. Instead he would stand over it's body with his arms crossed, waiting to see what was in store for him.

Gandigan plummeted down to the disc where he landed with a loud thud. For a moment, it looked as if both combattants were either exhausted or dead, but this wasn't true. Gandigan was the first to get up followed by his sadistic subject who aimed mouth waves at him to slow his approach. The attacks were inefficient, easily blocked, but this was perfect; all that the Teal Mazoku really wanted was to keep her king away from her.

"This fight will be over when you show your true might and smear me like a shit stain on the floor." A boorish and crude statement, but it mirrored what Cabasa thought to be the truth. In her mind, there was no world where her king would ever let her achieve victory. She was too untrustworthy to be granted that privilege. Unless she surpassed him, which was a long shot at best, she could never hope to taste the sweet ambrosia of triumph. In the grand scheme of things, it mattered little; as long as Gandigan provided outlets for her fits of violence, Cabasa would be at his beck and call until something better presented itself.

"Lots of folks on this planet have truly idiotic ideals, relying on moralistic bullshit dictating how others should live their lifes." Cabasa's stern expression widened into a fanged grin tainted red by a constant downpour of her own blood. She swallowed it back out of pride to not show her absolutely weakened state, as if her trembling body wasn't enough of a telltale sign already. "Despite of this, these people have shown their worth to me in battle. For this, I respect them." Cabasa's energy spiked, her aura widening into purple flames that danced around her figure. "I have learned to enjoy this: The battling, detached from any ideals or concepts, including hunger..." For an ephemeral interstice of time, the void in Cabasa's eyes was sucked into the red of her pupils that vanished, baring their natural purple.

"HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Then, the negative energy curse came back, fighting against the will of the girl now shrouded by the hateful void and its burning red nucleus anew. With a deafening, booming roar that rattled the disc, Cabasa's aura turned into spore-like particles of shadow energy as she unleashed twin eye beams of vibrant pink that intertwined with each other, forming a mighty helix of piercing ki that was sent straight at Gandigan's heart with the intent to kill.

PL: 51,000 -> 255,000 -> 306,000 (Cabasa is in her Bloodlust form and uses a Transformation Boost followed by her Mazoku Clan free momentum Power Boost and Max Power!)

Notes: Nero's Spirit Binding and Paragon Aura's UTs temporarily manifest themselves before being suppressed by something wicked. She loses Max Power at the end of her post, meaning that she will not gain any MP next turn!
