Gandigan had been frequently visiting the First Scar since the his coronation. More often than not it was to train with young Mazoku looking to rise up the ranks of his personal guard, but today it was for something a bit more personal. Gandigan sat atop the great obsidian disc alone, sitting in a deep meditation. He was searching for a power scattered somewhere in the Outer Plait; a power that he had already once tried to kill. He hoped that maybe it would have done him a favor and eliminated itself alongside the Saiyan Zuci, but Cabasa had failed in that.
"Cabasa. Hear my voice. Your King is giving you an order: report immediately to the First Scar. I expect you to recount to me the details of what happened between yourself, Gira and Zuci during the coronation. Once we're done with that I may have a new task for you. I hope you're ready to get your hands dirty."
Gandigan still didn't know what to make of Cabasa, but as long as it was keeping up the appearance of loyalty he'd do his best to take advantage of it. There were some situations where a savage beats could be put to use, and after the fight that went down he'd expect Cabasa to be a great deal stronger than what it was before.
Cabasa had been left a quasi-skeletal mess after Nero's exorcism attempt - not due to the Guru's efforts but rather thanks to the parasitic presence within Cabasa who fed on its host's life force to resist the holy power trying to dislodge it. She woke up surrounded by the castle workers who Nero entrusted her to.
It would have normally been a terrible mistake due to the primal hunger gripping Cabasa's throat like a hot iron, but even amidst her burning frenzy she remembered about her promise to her king. Instead of lashing at the innocent Mazokus' throats, she simply slapped away the offered platter containing mixed fruits and a clay jug full of water that shattered against the black stone wall. "I NEED BLOOOOOOOOD!" She shouted with a hoarse voice, causing the workers to cower away in surprise. Then, the teal Mazoku spread her wingspan and headed to the wilderness of the Outer Plait, defenestrating herself with a purposeful soar.
Her mission? Culling all types of lifeform; plant-based or not, all but the Namekians gifted with sentience were targets ripe for the massacre. She bored through these animals not too dissimilar to herself with indiscriminate rage, shattering bones, ripping tendons, and crushing organs, allowing the ensuing tide of red to invigorate her with a newfound vigor. Her limbs and torso were still haggard, but her womb was comically bloated, sloshing with blood. Then, with a disgusting burp, her stomach shrunk to normal and the rest of her weakened body swelled back to health with wiry veins throbbing fiercely. Cabasa threw her arms in the air and shouted triumphantly.
"I LIVE!" The dark purple ki oozing around her figure ate away at the sanguine fluids tainting her body, causing them to evaporate with a sizzling mist billowing from her curves. Cabasa was back, stronger and prouder than ever. Then, something made her antennae twitch, a telepathic message from her disgusting king. He wanted her services for a dirty job? Cabasa would gladly prove herself to him with her greater might. Knowing that these kinds of messages established a link between the people involved due to her interaction with Gira, the winged huntress answered the newly-crowned Daimaō. "At once, my king!" She psychically whispered back with a noticeable zest, taking off to the skies with a sonic boom toward the place where they originally met: The First Scar.
Gandigan saw an orb of purple flame glow across the ashen sky of the Scar within the minute of sending his message; Cabasa did little to conceal her power. From the look of things, she was now above twice her initial strength, putting her in a similar league to her apprentice Gira or slightly above Namekians like Treses or Mollusc. She did a few airborne somersaults, slowing her descent that ended being quite graceful despite the ferocity of her flight. Quickly, she kneeled and gave her king proper respect, looking up to her liege with a nasty wide-fanged grin.
"GANDIGAN! I have drank from the wildlife and replenished; me and Gira fought the Saiyan Zuci who lost her tail, causing her disgraceful defeat!" Cabasa explained herself, her lips bending downward with what followed. "Gira stood... strongly by her ideals; despite the threats from Zuci, your apprentice decided to let her live, which allowed..." The Guru's name came out from her mouth after a noticeable pause. Cabasa seemed part disgusted, part confused. "... the Guru Nero to intervene and heal the two Saiyans, including Zuci's tail." Gandigan was probably already made aware of what transpired there during her convalescence, so she simply spoke the truth, having her doubts about Gandigan's request being a camouflaged test of her loyalty.
"My injuries were sustained when Nero attempted his so-called <<exorcism>> on me." Cabasa spoke of the event in a very dismissive manner, clearly more impassioned with her clash against the Saiyan girls. "A futile attempt that caused me nothing but pain! I don't remember the rest... merely awaking in the castle." She added one last thing. "I thought it'd be interesting to mention how both Zuci and Gira spoke candidly about their aspirations: They both desire to become Super Saiyans. I recall you mentioning your concern for these beings. I entertained the thought of killing Zuci on the spot, but Nero and Gira's presence made this impossible..." A fact that clearly brought great disappointment to the winged Mazoku.

It didn't take long for Cabasa to heed his call, though Gandigan found himself surprised at the power coming his way. Cabasa had grown significantly since the crowning, being perhaps twice as strong as before, if not greater. Where had this strength come from? Had the Mazoku found some sort of secret well of power hidden somewhere? For a moment Gandigan actually felt some degree of fear that Cabasa may become a real threat, though it was still leagues below him. Unless Cabasa had been gathering allies behind his back he was fine.
The retelling of events lined up with what Nero had told him. There was a battle between Zuci, Gira and Cabasa. Nero then got involved and provided healing, before attempting to exercise Cabasa and seemingly failing. Gandigan was frustrated that Nero would aid Zuci, not understanding the threat that she could pose if she did reach the power of a Super Saiyan in the future. Gira he wasn't so worried about, given her upbringing on Earth, but Zuci was a Saiyan through and through. There was an opportunity to deal with her before she became a threat, and he got in the way of that.
Though he wouldn't voice those concerns to Cabasa. "Zuci will be dealt with in time, as will any other Super Saiyan which might threaten us. I have plans for the Saiyans, which you will learn about when I require you know such things. For the time being I have a new task for you; one which you're probably not going to like, but in this situation you may be best suited for it. Zuci and Gira will be both leaving Namek soon I expect, and so will I. I have business off world which I need to attend to, and I shan't be back for a few weeks. Marimba is in charge of the Mazoku Kingdom until I return; you are to report to him. If you step out of line he is fully capable of killing you himself."
Marimba was the only person he could trust to lead things while he was gone, which was in his mind not a great thing. Gandigan needed more trusted allies, which is just another reason why he wished he didn't have to go, so that there was more time to learn his people. "Train with him. Grow stronger with him. But that is not your task. Nero has taken an interest in you according to both of your words. He seems to want to try and save you. I wish for you to spend time with him while I'm gone, and do your best effort to get close to him."
Cabasa listened to Gandigan with intent, having wildly mixed feelings about the multiple topics he tackled. In her mind, dealing with a would-be threat was way better than allowing it to fester and spread like an infectious disease. It wasn't her decision to make, however, so if Gandigan wanted to be mawkish and show the likes of Zuci mercy, he'd be the one to pay the price a hundredfold for it later.
"Hmph. Understood." Gandigan's unwilligness to share the details of his scheme to take care of these Super Saiyans was mildly bothersome, but the teal Mazoku understood that she didn't do much so far in the way of showing her trustworthiness to her liege since they met, which was exactly why she was standing before him today.
Why would the king need to leave his people right after the coronation? That surprised Cabasa, but electing Marimba as the seneschal of his kingdom was the sensible thing to do. After all, his display during the coronation against Treses' insolence did make him the second strongest amongst the Mazokus to Cabasa's limited knowledge. She approved with a slow nod, her serious countenance bursting into an amused chuckle when her Daimaō mentioned how his right-hand man could so easily dispatch her. "HAH! Marimba? I wouldn't expect any less from the man; the wicked stare he gave me at the coronation told me everything I needed to know about him. He is a warrior through and through, not one to pull his blows." Cabasa clasped her hands together, rubbing them frantically and standing up from her kneeling position, foam visibly dripping at the corner of her lips. "I am beyond eager to taste his blood. My education at his hands will be fruitful, I feel."
This, however, wasn't to be Cabasa's prime directive. She understood as much when the Guru's name left Gandigan's voice, striking his winged servant with a profound mix of disgust permeated by a tinge of apprehension, of fear. Nero was a fool who wanted to get rid of what made her strong, or at least it is what the elusive puppeteer pulling at her heartstrings made her believe. "I see." To say that Cabasa was displeased by this news would be an understatement, but it's not like she had much in the way of complaining seeing the vast difference in might between herself and the king. "I do not need saving, but Gira told me that the Guru's knowledge was vast." The winged Mazoku averted her gaze to the surroundings, admiring columns of lava spewed out from the Scar's blasted soil. "The slabs of my people confirm that; even though there was some ideological dispute that caused us to splinter, there was acknowledgement toward the Guru's mystical prowess." There was a protracted sigh coming from the teal Mazoku. "I shall entreat with him later."
Not wanting to linger too much on this subject, Cabasa tried to steer the conversation toward something that actually piqued her curiosity. "You mentioned your impending departure from Namek. You're probably not going to tell me why, but even from an outsider's point of view this gesture looks a bit weird from a newly-crowned king. I presume those affairs are meant to remain private." Cabasa crossed her arms, pulling the edges of her dark cape toward herself while doing so to drape her figure. "What should I say if your subjects confront me about it? Do I simply redirect them to Marimba? What authority do I speak with? If I am but a soldier, I shan't mingle with the delicious masses."

Cabasa was clearly unimpressed with the directive coming down from Gandigan, but as expected there was acceptance fairly quickly. He was in no mood to argue his point with an underling like Cabasa, having much large things on his mind. Hopefully keeping Cabasa close to Nero would eventually lead to the Guru having to do something about the problem; either killing the Mazoku or curing it of it's affliction would be good enough for Gandigan, and maybe along the way Nero could be hardened a bit.
Cabasa did it's best to glean whatever information it could in regards to Gandigan's trip, which he did his best to answer without giving too much away. "Private to some. If the greater Mazoku population knew of my intentions then I would expect many to agree with my decision making, but if my enemies knew then they would see it as an opportunity to strike me down. I must be careful with who I reveal this information to, but I understand your quandary."
Honestly Gandigan hoped to be back before the masses began to answer questions, but he couldn't guarantee that. And what if he died? What was to happen then? "I do not give you the authority to make any speeches, but if someone asks then you may answer. Tell them that their King is conduction diplomacy on a foreign world, and that I shall return within a few weeks. That shouldn't need to know anything more than that."
Now for some news that Cabasa might be more happy about. "I expect you to train every second you can, for once I return we will have our first target in sight. War will be upon us soon, against a threat greater than any Namek has faced before."
Diplomatic intrigue, uh? This was clearly outside of the teal Mazoku's cup of tea, so there were no chances for her to spill the beans about that. Gandigan made himself clear; if the hoi polloi was to be nosey, Cabasa simply needed to keep it short and sweet. In a way, she was kinda glad to be on a lower rung of authority compared to Marimba since she didn't see herself quenching the masses' worries with eloquence - if anything, she'd be one of the first to resort to violence out of sheer annoyance alone.
"No problems with any of that. Better be safe than sorry - the walls have ears, after all. I presume that Nero was made aware of your departure as well, yes? If not, I shall stay silent on the subject until confronted." Marimba being aware was a no-brainer, but she wasn't so sure about Nero. While the Guru did give Gandigan his blessings at the coronation, she had yet to understand all the intricacies of their relationship. If she could glean more on the subject by inquiring further, she'd gladly take that opportunity. "I do not know if the Daimaō must give accounts to the Guru. From what I understand, your position is one of leadership and his is more akin to a spiritual guide, a counselor of some sort, but I could be wrong. Indeed, the power dynamics of Namek still elude me and knowing more on the subject would allow me to make more enlightened decisions; does the Guru speaks with an authority similar to yours, my scheming liege?" She grinned, knowing well where her true loyalty -if you could even call it that- lied. "Only asking in theory, of course; I'd rather serve a warrior with ambitions than a sanctimonious prophet."
Speaking of Gandigan's ambitions, her king reminded her about the juiciest morself of his plan: The promise of conflict, of bloodshed. "That's right! I will make sure to be a worthy addition to your army when the time comes, my liege. Sadly, you just so happened to interrupt a session of training with today's audience..." Cabasa took a step toward Gandigan, putting her perhaps a bit too close to the king's personal space; he was able to smell the metallic tang of blood with each breath expelled by her fanged maw. "... how do you plan to recompense, Gandigan? Will you allow me to whet my claws one last time against your hide before your departure or you don't have time for that?"

"I'll speak to Nero on myself on these things. As for his authority it extends over all of Namek to some degree, though I do not answer to him if that's what you're trying to get at." Was Cabasa prodding for weakness? Or perhaps trying to create a rift? It seemed the type to do that. "Though I wouldn't call it the same kind of authority that I have. A King and the Guru aren't the same. Don't expect to hear Nero dishing out orders any time soon."
Trying to explain the role of Guru to an outsider was always tough. No other planet that he had been on had anything similar to the role in their own hierarchy, and depending on which group of Namekians you asked you might receive a different answer. "Think of him as an advisor to the planet; that's what he spends most of his time doing. He may engage in combat from time to time with some of the scum of the planet, but he's not the type to go looking for a fight."
The prospect of battle clearly excited Cabasa, who was eager to begin training immediately. That was to be expected, and he was curious to see how this new found strength with aid the Mazoku. "Very well; I suppose I have some time before leaving before a sparring session. Transform into your most powerful state and I'll match you."
Gandigan's answers proved Cabasa's suspicions; Nero, while having an important role in the Namekian culture with his station of Guru, couldn't really be used to get any leverage over her king. While she didn't expect the self-righteous Saiyan to be of any help to her, getting this question out of the way made it clear that she wouldn't beseech him for anything relevant in the future during Gandigan's departure. She would still have to pay him a visit or two to not draw her king's ire, but those would just be a matter of inconsequential in-and-out trips.
"Good. As I've said, this Nero guy kinda gets on my nerves; while I recognize his knowledge, he has this villainous tendency of wedging himself into others' business and nagging them about how they should lead their life. We have our agreement, Gandigan: I obey your orders and I spare the sentient inhabitants of Namek my wrath, then you allow me to conduct the hunt on your territory. Simple as." Cabasa grabbed her cape and threw it over her head, allowing the Scar's scorching wind to take it away, baring her red gi.
"Good, then allow me to show you the extent of my evolution!" With her wings and arms spread wide, Cabasa cackled, an ominous aura of purple ki swelling around her figure while the void of her eyes became streaked with crimson blood vessels converging toward her vermilion pupils. Gandigan's approval was the only authorization she needed. Now free of her shackles, the beast dashed forward with her clawed digits splayed wide, aiming to strike Gandigan's face with her palm. If this worked, she would follow up by extending her arm to slam Gandigan against the rocky soil to drag him away from her with a strong push.
PL: 51,000 -> 255,000 (Cabasa is in her Bloodlust form!)
Whether or not Cabasa could be trusted with anything while Gandigan was off world was still yet to be seen. What he could trust was that Marimba could be able to keep things in line in his absence. His strength was still significantly greater than Cabasa's was, and he trusted that Gira would be there if the Mazoku tried anything sinister. Of course Nero and his allies would be around too, which helped to put his mind at ease. Whatever machinations Cabasa had in mind, it still wasn't powerful enough to pursue them.
Cabasa's top end strength was more than double what it had been the first time they fought, though Gandigan was hardly afraid. His own strength had increased dramatically as well, which he tapped into as he unleashed part of his own transformation. As Cabasa came in to strike Gandigan quickly brought up his own hand and grabbed onto the Mazoku's wrist. "You've still got a long way to go."
Gandigan would counter by bringing out his own claws on his free hand, reaching out and attempted to strike the face of Cabasa. He'd follow that up by releasing his grip and driving his right foot forward, attempting to boot Cabasa across the battlefield.
Her detested king stayed true to his promise and allowed his power to swell, keeping it at bay to match Cabasa's own strength. Despite her opening move being thwarted with ease, Cabasa displayed a smug countenance, finding excitement making her blood boil in the proximity with her opponent. "YES, I AM BUT A FLEDGLING MAZOKU, GANDIGAN! What lesson will you teach me today..."
Contrarily to her liege who intercepted the blow, Cabasa met the attack head-on, fiercely clenching her jaw to the point where veins bulged across her teal forehead before headbutting forward. Gandigan's palm met an impossibly hard surface in Cabasa's skull who dispersed the blow with an equal opposing force. Then, he followed with a kick that found its mark, digging in Cabasa's stomach. The savage huntress was sent flying, literally; she allowed Gandigan's strength to give her the needed momentum to take flight. With an ostentatious backward maneuver, she allowed herself to land with a soft thud.
"You'll find me more patient today, my Daimaō!" Cabasa crossed her arms, hovering a few inches off the ground thanks to her flapping wings. "I desire more fights like the one I had with Gira against Zuci; despite her softness of character, she was a worthy ally. Since I've arrived on this planet, odds have always been stacked against me." Cabasa's shoulders shook, betraying her amusement. "I WILL ENJOY THIS SUCCULENT PRESENT! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, GANDIGAN. THERE, ALLOW ME TO RETURN THE FLAVOR~" Both of Cabasa's legs stretched and shot forward with the hope of nailing Gandigan in the stomach like he just did to her a few seconds earlier. If he made the mistake to grab her offending limbs again, she'd retract herself to him and use the generated momentum to dispense a high-velocity punch against his nose.

Cabasa oddly chose to slam it's head into the incoming fist of Gandigan. It was an odd defensive technique, though in this case it worked as Gandigan's fist was forced to give way and accept defeat. His kick was a little more successful, though he could tell that it didn't do too much damage. Cabasa was lifted from it's feet, landing a short distance away. A decent start, though Cabasa's theatrics were beginning to grate on him already. "Are you a warrior, or are you an actor? Enough with the pageantry."
He didn't like the idea of Cabasa associated with either Zuci or Gira. He didn't trust Zuci, and Gira didn't need that sort of influence. Before he left he would probably need to tell Marimba to keep a tight leash on Cabasa, else risk the Mazoku causing all sorts of problems for them. "You'll get your battles soon enough. Battles the likes of which you've never seen before. Battles against hordes of Saiyan's with a thirst for blood that rivals anyone's."
Cabasa dived in on Gandigan, but the Mazoku Lord was ready. Leaping into the air, Gandigan would twist and unleash a torrent of hellfire form both hands, littering the field beneath him with ki blasts.

Maelstrom = 80% - 4KP - N/A = 204,000 204,000 vs 51,000 = 153,000 aimed at Cabasa
Gandigan was absolutely, positively right about that; the important fights were not the ones behind, but those ahead. Gandigan would only be the beginning of her crusade for greater power. Indeed, Cabasa intended to throw herself against figurative cliffs, tumble to her defeat only to get back up and repeat the process until molded to perfection. Gira, Marimba, and even the sickening Nero would all be instrumental in this pursuit of power that Cabasa craved above everything else. Through sheer obstinacy and will to surpass her king, she shall prevail or die trying.
Instead of grabbing onto her legs as she came for him like she thought he would, Gandigan leapt into the air, leaving Cabasa sharply halting herself to kill her impetus. This gave the Mazoku king a golden opportunity he was quick to capitalize on, using Cabasa's lack of balance to assault her with a rain of hellfire from above. Cabasa was pinned to the ground by the attack, reeling in pain and shielding herself with her wings.
Once the dust of the attack cleared out, Gandigan was able to see two things: The teal Mazoku's holed wings were sizzling with pink bubbles forming around her wounds, quickly reconstructing the pinkish membrane, and her hateful eyes were glowing with that familiar pink... Cabasa shrieked, allowing these thin eye lasers loose that lanced toward Gandigan, aiming to slice across his chest to make him weep blood that she would channel back to her body. "AH! DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH; SAIYANS LIKE ZUCI ARE NOTHING MORE THAN LONE, WANTON FOOLS WITH DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR. I KNOW MY PLACE; I SEE THE VALUE IN ALLIES NOW! FOR THE MAZOKU KINGDOM!" Whether or not these words were truthful was beyond Gandigan's ability to tell, but at least his peon seemed to invigorate herself with her battle fervor. After all, maybe these lessons he taught her were successfully hammered down into that thick skull of hers.

Gandigan's Maelstrom rained down upon Cabasa with little resistance, leaving a smoking cloud between the two Mazoku. When the dust dispersed Gandigan bore witness to Cabasa's regenerative abilities once again, recovering almost perfectly from the damage just inflicted on it. As frustrating as it was to see all of his progress gone in a blink of a eye, he also derived some satisfaction knowing that most Namekian could only heal like than one in a battle; now that the card was played it couldn't be played again.
Cabasa's words were just as believable as everything else that came out of the Mazoku's mouth, which meant practically not at all. No many how many times Cabasa said the words Gandigan couldn't believe them, and that wasn't about to change any time soon. Cabasa would have the opportunity to prove it's loyalty once they stood foot on Plant. That day would be a glorious one for the Mazoku people; proof that they were ready to hang with the elite, while at the same time earning the gratitude of the galaxy thanks to their cleansing of the Saiyan elite.
"You'll have you're chance to put those words to the test soon enough. Then we'll really see just how far you're willing to go." Cabasa's eye beams slammed into the chest of Gandigan, knocking the Mazoku out of the air and onto the ground just a few feet away. Even after the beam's had vanished he could still feel them burning into his skin. Loathe to allow an unanswered hit, Gandigan leapt back to his feet and charged at Cabasa, bringing his two hands together and swinging them into it's chin like a hammer.
It was a pain to listen to Gandigan's words. Even if it wasn't what popped out first from his sentence, she knew deep inside that it was disparaging, meant to poke at her vile, untrustworthy nature. He wasn't wrong to put the Teal Mazoku's loyalty in question, but Cabasa was adamant on proving her liege wrong at all costs.
The winged huntress displayed a wicked smile upon seeing Gandigan's chest getting singed by her eye beam. Her satisfaction with herself was to be short-lived, however, for Gandigan quickly got back up and zoomed to Cabasa to smash her chin with his hands joined together as one brutal bludgeon.
WHACK!
The strength of the blow was enough to send the bloodthirsty Mazoku reeling on the ground with an airborne spin. "TCH- You got me good..." She commented with a hissing whisper, pinching her chin between the fingers of one hand as she rotated her mandible. Nothing broken. Good.
"MY TURN!" Cabasa spat some blood and grabbed a nearby chunk of rock in her hand, jumping up in the air with her wings extended wide. With both hands holding on that stone overhead, she began stretching her arms to comical degrees. They flopped behind her back like impotent straws. This was all part of her plan, for Cabasa violently jerked her body forward by headbutting the air, capitalizing on the elasticity of her outstretched limbs in an attempt to smack Gandigan with a whip-like arm strike made even more vicious thanks to the rocky present she wanted to smash her monarch's skull with.

Gandigan was growing weary of this sparring quickly. He couldn't exactly say why, but with his battle against Lottus quickly approaching the Mazoku King found himself in need of a rest. Perhaps he had been pushing his body too hard recently, as he had been ignoring his meditation in favor of extra training over the last few days. Even though this battle was only just beginning, he felt as though it was time to bring things to an end.
But that was quitters talk. Why kind of King could he call himself if he was giving up so quickly? Like a pushover? How could someone like Cabasa ever respect him after just this much? He could keep going. He needed the training. He needed every little advantage he could get over Lottus. Gandigan would bring his arms up over his head to block the incoming damage, though instead of standing tall he would faint, falling over and pretending to be more injured than he really was. "That is enough. You can consider this a victory, Cabasa. I do not have the energy to continue this fight any longer. I must recover as much as possible before I do battle against Lottus."
Gandigan would stumble up to his feet and prepared to walk away... waiting just long enough to see if Cabasa would buy it... before mimicking it's own attack. Bringing his hands together, Gandigan would spin around and elongate his arms, aiming to once again club into the face of Cabasa from afar.
