What a wretched place this was. Sen had known many homes while on Earth, yet none of them had been to his liking thus far. The cities were all too dangerous for him to try out, considering that he was still a wanted man. Even on Earth he couldn't be too sure who was sending information back to Lychee. His favorite had probably been the frozen north, which provided him the seclusion he so desired, yet Sen found it difficult to keep himself occupied up there.
Unlike most of his kind his scientific endeavors were more practical than out of love or wonder. When Sen worked, he worked with a purpose and a clear goal in mind. He was always in search of potential ways to turn the tide of the everlasting war he found himself in, and up north there was naught but ice and snow to study. He had momentarily perused a freezing cannon, but it never got past the initial testing phase.
The Kaiju Jungle was nearly the opposite of the frozen north. It was hot, humid and fill of life. Thankfully in this case there wasn't much in the way in intelligent life, with the Jungles occupied by mostly bugs and the aforementioned Kaiju. As much as he hated the humid weather there were two ideas which he wished to explore: extracting and weaponizing the Earthling diseases found in bugs which the Tuffles were likely not immune to, as well as capturing and training an army of Kaiju warriors.
Both would take a lot of time and most of the resources he had, so he decided to focus on the insects for now, and leave the Kaiju training for a later date. Delving deep into the jungle, Sen managed to capture a particularly nasty looking mosquito which appeared to have a belly full of some poor sucker's blood. Trapping it within a glass bottle, Sen found a quiet area where he opened up his bag and pulled out his tools. Vials, knives, powders and tonics were carefully laid about. A sterile environment would have been preferred, but Sen was used to working in the field.
Using some tweezers, Sen carefully removed the mosquito from it's prison, before dosing it with a paralyzing agent. From there he laid it flat out on a small bench before grabbing one of his scalpels. "Let's see what secrets you hold."
