BOUNTIFUL DANGER

Licking at the blood trickling out past their lips the beast eyed Lottus with insatiable regard as another mouthful of tang and sweat and still-twitching viscera was swallowed whole. It listened to his words, it's named in use. The smile returned to it's face as it heard the warrior speak it's true name, and disregarded the rest of it's words, it's attention captured instead by strong hands clasping at their jaw, pulling them away from their prize before they could gorge.

Lips still red with blood the beast was drawn in, their red eyes transfixed in the glare of their opponent, breath catching from a deep place inside as they were brought inches from those eyes. They could feel the breath of the monster and behind Kabe's eyes for a moment a different kind of animal surfaced, a glance wandering down to the smile of a creature as twisted as he was, and his lips slipped open to whisper some remark before Hoshikui raked at the back of his mind to stop the distraction.

They watched as Lottus whipped his head back and drove it forward, and for a moment that distracting mix of the sadistic and salacious took hold again before it was too late to do anything at all, if they had wanted to avoid it. But they hadn't wanted to. And almost as if rewarding the warrior for, they took the blow with a vicious sort of delight and grinned through the lip-spitting force that struck their nose into a blood-gushing instantaneous purple.

They licked at their lips, savoring the mix of their own blood with what had been left of Lottus from their bite. The grin persisted, the tang a sickening sweet and the pain ripping through their body and feeling electric. The vessel was alive! "More," the creature insisted, staring at exposed skin and arching forward to teethe a mouthful of carotid artery and meat. "more!"

It wanted to test it's vessel, and Lottus was strong enough to do that. They wanted to hurt Lottus, to savage and fight the thing that they feared, more than they wanted anything else. And as they moved to gorge and consume, they didn't put up any defense. Because they wanted that pain. It wanted to see how long it took for something like Lottus to break the vessel. Kabe was strong. It had picked it's vessel as something that could not be broken.

The world would break before they did.

Lottus' headbutt landed with a CRUNCH of cartilage as Kabe's nose gave way to the impact, gushing blood and staggering Kabe away from Lottus. The Saiyan lets out a low, guttural chuckle as the possessed Saiyan demands more punishment! Who was he to refuse such a genuine request?

Lottus balls his hands into tight fists, and the golden aura flares to life around him.

"What was it you said before - you wanted to see my power?" Lottus remarks. He begins focusing his energy, magnifying it, amplifying it... and below them, the ground begins to quake. At first, a shiver, then tremors... and soon, the ruined below begin to shift as fissures rip across the landscape! Entire shelfs of land suddenly jerk and slide, separating, crashing together, overlapping, and shattering!

Lottus throws his head back in a bellow that he sends to the sky, and his golden aura burns wider around him, twisting and swirling into the black clouds high above them. As if being spun by his willpower, the clouds above Lottus begin to shift, swirling like a whirlpool above the battlefield! With each passing moment, the earthquakes below become more and more violent, and stone and small boulders begin to levitate off the ground!

An angry red glow begins to shine through the fissures, and soon magma bubbles up and spills out! Forked lightning cracks across the sky, occasionally lashing down to the ground in blinding flashes. It were as if the intensity of his power alone would be enough to tear the planet apart!! Lottus was building up for something...

They savored the taste of meat and blood as they watched Lottus begin to power up. With each ragged, desperate breath the vessel drew in light, sucking in that delicious golden aura as it neared them and their eyes were fixed up on Lottus. He could feel it in the air, that tremendous power rising, mounting to something terrifying. It looked down from their plaything to the fissures below, taking in the taste of smoked silt and ionized dust in the air, and it grinned.

The world would break before they did.

"Hehehaha...!" they laughed, the cracked and puppeted tone shaking, gripped by Kabe as he felt himself quiver for a moment. Something about feeling that pressure that had terrified him on Plant in the air again stirred him from the lull he'd been kept in. Quickly the beast took his mind in it's jaws and bit down, asserting control and provoking Kabe as it chewed on the fear in it's vessel.

The vessel was quick to stop shaking. It feared nothing, and he feared very little, so they feared nothing at all. The joyful grin returned to their face. "Show us! Show us!" the creature crowed, giddy as a child as they looked up and shouted to Lottus.

The golden light of Lottus' Super Saiyan Aura flares with the intensity to match a storm of lightning, lashing across the sky and ground below! But something about it was beginning to change. The light was beginning to darken, as if a sun had just become a black hole and had drawn the light it once gave off right back in. A crimson glow within the now deathly black aura begins to strengthen, painting the clouds and lands with an angry, dark red.

Lottus activates Support Technique || Wrathful Might
You may activate Wrathful Might at the very start of your post, increasing the power of all of your techniques by +10% while active. This will drain Momentum at a cost of -1 MP per post and prevents you from gaining MP naturally, using evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, and intercepting attacks meant for others. You can only turn it off at the end of a post, at the end your second post after activation at the earliest. You will still consume MP and not regain any MP on the post you turned it off on. If you run out of MP, you lose Wrathful Might's effects at the end of your post and cannot gain any MP on your next turn.

Lottus' muscles begin to grow, his limbs lengthening in tandem - just as he had in his Wrathful Form. Lottus' eyes lose their white and cerulean colors, replaced by the glow of an equally demonic red light. Lottus bellows a terrible roar, shaking the lands and causing the air itself to vibrate under the influence of his terrible power.

Lottus turns his glowing red eyes on Kabe, the only remaining semblance of his Super Saiyan form being his golden locks. Lottus raises a hand, pointing at Kabe.

"Time to play." Lottus snarls with a vicious amusement in his rasping voice.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAGHHH!!!" Lottus suddenly launches towards Kabe in a blitzing charge, his speed having increased along with his power! Rather than punch at Kabe, Lottus brings a massive arm up at Kabe's neck level, swinging his arm with enough force to behead almost any other foe unfortunate enough to be caught in its path! Lottus follows through, spinning head over heel to bring the back of his right foot crashing down at Kabe's chest!

To finalize the brutalizing beatdown, Lottus attempts to grab Kabe's wrists, and plant his feet both against Kabe's chest, and fall to the ground with the impact strength of a meteor!!

Lottus attacks Kabe with Light Attack Technique || Brutalizing Beatdown
Lottus seizes ahold of his target, be it by the arm, leg, or even by their hair, and swings them around to slam them viciously against the ground, or throw them into a structure/natural wall.

The following Utility Techniques have activated!!

Utility Technique || Wrathful Aura
Description: When Wrathful State (transformation), Transformation, or technique utilizing the word Wrath/Wrathful in the name is active, Lottus focuses the corrupting power onto his foe, trying to frenzy them with the same bloodlust that he experiences trying to control or make them go berserk with rage.

Requirements: First and foremost, this ability affects other players' characters negatively - therefore, in order for them to be afflicted with Berserk the player being affected must give express permission that their character can be affected. Secondly, Lottus can only use Wrathful Aura when using a transformation that includes Wrathful in the name. And thirdly, the ONLY way Wrathful Aura can affect a target is through physical contact. Melee attacks made by Lottus, and against Lottus only. Ki Blast techniques (that do not involve physically touching Lottus) are not subject to the Wrathful Aura's effect.

Enemy characters cannot be afflicted with Berserk more that two times per thread. Players determine for themselves how long the effects of Berserk apply to their character(s).

Utility Technique || Horrifying Countenance
Description: When Lottus utilizes his Wrathful State, other Transformation, or technique utilizing the word Wrath/Wrathful in the name is active, Lottus' terrifying aura gives the impression of almost twice the power he truly possesses, making him appear far more dangerous and intimidating to behold.

Note: Lottus' PL does NOT actually change - it tricks Ki Sensing users into feeling vastly more power than is actually there. Scouter users are unaffected, as this ability is a sensation, not a true power boost. Additionally, skillful, or much more powerful enemies cannot be tricked by this ability.

"Yes!" the beast shouted, fangs bared in glee as the menacing red-eyed glare of Lottus trained itself on the vessel and charged towards them. It inhaled, drawing in the sickly and sinister miasma in the air, the aura radiating off of Lottus and polluting the souls of what few living things on the ground were left caught in it.

The vessel felt a shiver run down his spine, that same wracking fury that had finally let the beast take full control pounding at the insides of his head again. What might have welled into anger or madness or beserking in another beast instead twisted the inside of their stomach, and it let loose hunger. All consuming. Every fiber ached to be nourished by blood and flesh, hair and plastoid armor shells, whatever they could tear from Lottus' corpse and swallow whole.

By the time Lottus was upon them they were already thrashing against him, biting wildly against his strikes. It did little to lessen the blows, and nothing found purchase like they had when they'd ripped meat from bone or torn artery from flesh before. By the time they were through with the relentless assault Lottus had unleashed upon them, they were on the ground, sunk deep into the earth by the impossible force of the kick.

They clambered up from the earth. Tendons strained, pain radiating up from their wrist, blood leaking from the vessel as though it had been cracked. But they would mend it. It would mend the vessel, they just needed more sustainance. The minerals in the earth had been drained of all life-giving goodness and the creature turned instead to face the mark of it's hunt.

"So... hungry..." Kabe's voice sounded, more strained than ever, as though the injuries were either worsening the control the beast had over him, or making certain he could never regain control again. He wasn't sure which was worse. "MUST... FEED!" they screamed in primal desperation, the wounded battlecry of a hungry predator fighting for it's next meal. They lunged at Lottus again, hands moving to try and wrench his arm away from his body as they dove forward, teeth bared and ready to gorge on a morsel of flexor muscle, radius and ulna.

Lottus' assault battered the possessed Kabe terribly, leaving the Super Saiyan bleeding and seemingly broken in the ever churning, shattered landscape. But to Lottus' amusement, it was not the end! Kabe once again rose, wobbly though he was, and bleeding, the Saiyan remained conscious. Lottus' reddened eyes narrow as the smile playing across his face widens.

"Hungry are you?" he says, landing not too far from Kabe. Lottus pulls off his battle jacket, revealing a torso storied by terrible scars. Scars from blades, from claws, from blasters, and from fires all etched across the Saiyan in a terrible memoriam of battles past. Lottus drops the battle jacket, and his tail unwraps from his waist, snapping from side to side. Blood seeps from the fresh wounds on his shoulder from where Kabe had bitten into him. "Well... come and try to sate that hunger!"

Lottus grins wide, his arms coming up, palms open, in a wide stance. When Kabe rushes towards Lottus, the Saiyan is ready. Lottus met, and matches Kabe's powerful lunge and grab, refusing to be budged from his spot! As Kabe chomps down to tear away more flesh, Lottus' right hand snaps forth, seizing the possessed Saiyan behind the head, slamming Kabe's mouth shut around his arm, allowing the Saiyan to bite damn near down to the bone.

The pain was like daggers plunging through his flesh. Kabe eventually manages to yank his head away, taking the skin that had been in his mouth from Lottus' arm. The Wrathful aura fades, replaced again by the golden aura, and his red eyes return to normal as well.

"Heeeehhh... Taste good, does it?" Lottus remarks, the golden aura flaring to life once again. "Enjoy it... Your time is about to run out!"

He only needed a little more energy now...

Wrathful Might Deactivated! -1 MP for the turn!

Lottus takes full damage from Kabe's attack (59%) and is inflicted with Bleed and Exhaustion!
