Let's Go A Round (King of the North Split)

As battle drew nearer, the Saiyan tried to relax herself, closing her eyes and briefly meditating as she flew through the air, allowing her sixth sense for ki to guide her. As the wind blew through her hair, Gira envisioned herself in her normal, smiling demeanor. This image quickly faded away, however, replaced by the Saiyan in an enraged state with her normally straight hair spiking up, sporting golden eyes and bulging muscles. The figment of her mind let out an enraged roar. As it echoed in Gira's ears, she wondered to herself, 'Is this the best I can do? Is controlling my anger really all there is to my journey? Gan-sensei said that I needed a reason to fight. I thought that protecting others would give me all the strength I need, but I still fall short. What, then? What is it that I need?' Gira opened her eyes and stopped when she felt Zuci's energy do so as well. Apparently, she had stopped to have a good laugh at Cabasa's expense. The verbal spat between the Namekian and the other Saiyan was actually more than a little amusing, causing Gira to let out a good-natured laugh as Cabasa screamed at Zuci to stop her own laughter. When Zuci assumed she was going to be watching, however, the young Saiyan shook her head. "Nah, you've got it all wrong. I wanna fight, I just don't want to make it too unfair. So i'll just release my power a little bit at a time, as I need it." Turning her head towards Cabasa as the Namekian addressed her directly, Gira smiled and gave her a thumbs up.

"Works for me! Don't worry, you won't die while i'm here. No one will. One second, please." With that, Gira floated towards the ground. removing her purple jacket, folding it neatly, and placing it under a nearby tree for her to retrieve later. Her mother had gifted her that jacket before she left on her journey to Namek. It had been a little tattered by her training match with Gan-sensei and it was a real pain in the ass to fix. It should be safe down here, though. She removed her shoes and socks next, feeling like doing so would help her move more freely. Looking up towards where she came from, she could feel Cabasa's power explode like an inferno before the embers died down to a much more manageable level for Zuci in her current form. Heading back upwards towards the other two, Gira presented herself in her black tank top and black pants. Looking her companion over, Gira took in her power. She was quite strong in this form. Far stronger than she had been previously. Even though she had yet to showcase all of it, Gira assumed that it was much less than what Zuci had in the tank. The Saiyan had yet to even transform. Seeing that Cabasa was most certainly ready for battle, the young Saiyan warrior finished her own preparations. Bracing herself and letting out a low growl, Gira shouted briefly as her violet aura erupted around her. She had not used her full power yet. A simple fifty percent of her base form should suffice to make this a challenge for Zuci if she was fighting alongside Cabasa. At least for now.

Taking up a serious stance, Gira narrowed her eyes at Zuci. It appeared that Cabasa was waiting for their opponent to make a move, but Gira was a Saiyan. She was never one to go second. "I'm gonna start out like this. If you can make me, i'll show you more of my strength." The Saiyan grinned with excitement. Saying that, she almost felt like her sensei for a moment. Her whole body felt like it was vibrating with anticipation. She simply could not wait any longer. With a furious battle cry, Gira charged Zuci. Deciding to start simple to feel the Saiyan out, she aimed a jab for her face, opening up with her usual starter; the Justice Smash. Following up the jab, Gira would then vanish behind the Saiyan in an attempt to kick her in the back of the head and towards Cabasa. Hopefully, this maneuver would cause Zuci to be trapped between the two.

Rather than soak in the praise Cabasa had thrown at her like her vain self normally would have, Zuci watched her actions like a hawk would their prey. Even in the brief exchange with Gira she hadn't lost sight of the Namekian, turning around slow to face her. She at least had the decency to raise her power level a bit in response to Zuci's provocation, so some of her smile had returned because of that.

At the same time though, Zuci was well aware of Gira announcing her comeback. "Yes, you'd better. Otherwise you may get taken out before you know what's happened."

That said the Saiyan raised her hand and clenched it. It would only get a tad brighter in their area, but that wasn't so important for Zuci right now. Her Ki swelled and charged rapidly, and as both warriors made their move towards her Zuci looked up at the ball she had made and began her transformation.

Well, almost.

In the midst of it she had been forced to block a punch by Gira, one that shot her directly in the path of Cabasa's claws heading straight for her. But before it landed along with the blast of ki Gira had shot out with an even more drastic increase in power, the transformation had already occurred. Almost immediately the woman in front of them had been replaced by a Great Ape dressed for battle.

Cabasa's attack had striked her, but it seemed to leave little to an impact on the now towering Saiyan. Zuci had been focused almost entirely on the blast coming her way. Instead of preparing her own beam to counter Zuci had flew straight into the blast with her foot outstretched. She kicked through the attack for a few seconds, eventually dispersing the attack with her physical might. Zuci would then fly far above the two, holding out a hand for each of them.

"It's a mountain I've been climbing my entire life, and dare I say I can finally see the peak! And let me tell you- Peace? Tranquility of mind? As if you'd ever reach the legend like that! You better learn to fight like you wanna kill someone, little one! And for you," Zuci addresses Cabasa, "If you want to leave a mark, you better go for more than a scratch! Cut out my tongue, gouge out my eyes, just make sure that when I get my golden glow you're not just standing there and quivering!"

Without warning Zuci proceeds to fire a volley of Ki Blasts at her opponent's.

Gira finally going all out led to the desired outcome. As the two fought, the young Saiyan from Earth could see her opponent’s body change as she began to transform. Flying backwards from her opponent, she was able to get a good look at the Saiyan in all of her primal glory. She could never hope to attain such a transformation, since her mother had her tail removed when she was born. Standing here now, she couldn't help but simply look up at the creature in awe. She was aware that her race was capable of utilizing the tails they were born with to tap into their true potential. She was even aware that this true potential took the form of a giant ape. However, she was completely unprepared for the sheer size and power of the transformation. In terms of raw strength, Zuci was now equal to Gira, but in size, the young Saiyan warrior was absolutely dwarfed. She could feel her excitement growing, however. This was it. An equal fight. She had battled those who were stronger than her for a while now, so the prospect of facing someone like Zuci was more exciting than words could describe. Readying herself for the real start of the battle, it soon became clear what the giant ape intended to do. After dispersing the energy of the Justice Cannon with a single kick from her giant foot, the other Saiyan aimed to fire a volley of ki blasts in the direction of her two opponents. 'My Justice Cannon...! Damn, she's tough!' Gira had no choice. She had to fight without reservation, to avoid Cabasa getting hurt or worse.

As for herself, she wasn't about to lose this fight. She wouldn't have to worry about her own fate in this battle. At the giant ape's taunting of the folly of her path to Saiyan excellence, Gira flew through the ki blasts, weaving her way through until she reached the monster's face, aiming to bring her heel down in a vertical spinning axe kick aimed between its eyes. Then, as fast as she could manage, Gira made her escape from the immediate danger zone. That was when she heard the voice of Nero in her mind once more, telling her how he felt that the Mazoku Namekian she was fighting alongside was cursed. 'Cursed...?' Gira thought to herself as she flicked her eyes towards her teal companion in suspicion. The young warrior was inexperienced regarding such things. The most she knew about curses came from the old stories and fairytales her mother read her when she was a kid, and those had all manner of impossibilities that occurred in their narratives, making them unreliable for any practical information on curses and magic. Sending a message back to Nero, she confirmed his suspicions. ‘Her ki is strange, yeah. I don’t know much about curses, but this feels like one. But don't worry, I haven’t met a problem I couldn’t punch. If she gets out of control, i’ll be able to put her down pretty easily.’ For now, that may prove to be true, but what of the future? If this was a curse, the young warrior doubted that she could simply punch it and solve the problem.

Then, how…? That’s when Gira remembered it. Her Mind Walk technique. If she could somehow get into Cabasa’s mind, she’d be able to see exactly what was inside… hopefully. She had never used that move like that before. Unfortunately for the Saiyan, she was ejected from her moment of thought by a sudden ferocious assault from Cabasa, the Namekian shouting for her to follow up. She didn’t know the teal Mazoku well, but she didn’t expect her to be interested in teamwork. Giving the Namekian a nod, Gira rocketed back towards her opponent with a ferocious battle cry, aiming to follow up on Cabasa’s attack with a powerful kick at the area of Zuci’s chest where the Mazoku warrior’s beams had impacted. If successful, she would then attempt to follow up by simultaneously kicking off her the ape’s chest while firing a ki blast from each hand towards the same area in an attempt to propel herself backwards and out of harm’s way faster than she could manage with her flight or muscle alone.

The sight of a giant, towering ape doubling over and laughing would probably be a hard one to fight. She hadn't gotten a good look at Cabasa's face, but the extreme and terribly caught off-guard shrill from the Namekian was enough to give Zuci an idea on how she felt having an entire plateau thrown at her. Oh, look at that! Zuci had actually grazed Cabasa's wing, forcing her to fall down to the ground with her. And the poor thing was mad too, throwing pebbles at her!



"Hohoho, how adorable! At least you can still fly! Though, I wonder how 'random' a plateau is when it comes to throwing things in a fight, especially when compared to..." Zuci did a blatant gesture to the small rocks Cabasa had thrown at her. In that split-second Cabasa had smacked- Or, at least in her mind, tickled- her snout forcing the Oozaru to turn her head and sneeze. Hm. She had intended on verbally bullying her opponent again for a bit, but Cabasa seemed rather eager to die. With a grin she raised her hand, a ball of purple Ki appearing in it.



"Oh don't worry, when it's your turn to die I'll make more than sure it's a good one!"



Ah, but wait- Zuci had nearly forgotten about the other combatant.



"Don't need it? We'll see how that goes for you!" She said with boisterous glee. "And don't think I forgot about you either!" Zuci's ball of Ki seemed to dissipate as she turned to her back; raising her hand instinctively to her head and nose, she managed to block the first headshot but failed to manage the kick to her neck from an equal opponent. Zuci fell forward but used her large fist and foot to balance herself, doing a fantastical front flip to regain her balance. She flashed what one could only assume was a grin given her appearance, though it looked somewhat at odds with her holding the back of her neck.



"Oh, that's cute- I could've sworn I never said this was absolutely going to be a two-on-one. You both just decided I was the one to focus collectively then? The idea that I'm so scary in your mind fills me with joy, little one. Besides, your friend over there seems pretty intent on killing me. You ready to fight her for my right to life? And you think I'm scared of losing? If I win, I grow stronger! If I lose, I still grow stronger! It pays to be in the strongest warrior race, as I'm sure you've noticed in your own fights! So sad for the adorably small little Namekian down there though..." She made her best attempt at a 'cutesy' grin while pointing to Cabasa before focusing her attention back on Gira.



"Oh really? Let's see then!" As Gira dove into the forest Zuci contemplated about her next actions. Common sense said she just raze the forest and see what happens; hard to hide in a blazing inferno, after all. But something told her to let the other Saiyan do whatever it was she intended to do; perhaps it would be fun in the long run, especially if she managed to get one over on Zuci. As a matter of fact, destroying the forest might not even lead to any fruitful results. For all she knew Gira had found a spot or a path in there that could lead to a safe hiding place that would hide her from the blast. And with her lowered power level it'd be even more difficult to prepare for any surprise counter attack. In that case, she should at least keep her other occupant busy so they both don't pull the same stunt.

"I'll just have to get rid of your hiding spot then, little one! Let's see if you don't come out after I do this!"

A Ki blast like before appeared in the palm of Zuci's hand. She reared her arm back and made a motion that looked like she was getting ready to throw it at Gira, or at least the forest she may or may not still be in. Rather than that though, she actually punched the ground hard with her Ki-infused fist. Purple energy would move through the ground and shoot up in a large wave towards Cabasa all the way up in the air. Zuci would even shoot out small blasts from her mouth straight towards the blue Namekian; weak, but many. Whether she was holding back to toy with her opponent or to buy time while preparing for something more was unknown, but for the moment her opponent had best deal with the little attacks she was throwing her way. 

"You'd best remember that real Saiyans don't fight to win or lose, to live or die! We fight because we love it! You think I threw that rock at you because I'm not trying to kill you! I did it because I thought it'd be fun! There's no rhyme or reason for battle other than for battle's sake! I shouldn't have to explain that to a bloodthirster like you! And I hope you're listening too, my fellow Saiyan! Let me give you a lecture this time: As long as two of the three are still breathing or there's not an outright surrender, this battle isn't over!"

Her voice boomed over the sounds of her own attacks, tone filled with savage confidence.

"I can tell part of your personality from the way you talk, little one. You act like the two of us need a reason to kill each other, and you think you'll become a Super Saiyan through peaceful actions and protecting others. Just accept that you want power, you want to be strong! You enjoy the taste of blood in your mouth just as much as I do! And you're enjoying putting your power against mine, even when you're doing this clever little strategem right now! I admit, I don't know if I'm fighting to get stronger or if I want to get stronger to fight, but in the end it makes little difference. I was born loving and wanting to fight, and so is every Saiyan! So next time you hit me, you think about how to get stronger and realize that cutting people down is the path to victory! That's my lesson to you, Earth-Saiyan!"
