Megis was burning off steam at a rapid pace. It'd been nearly a year since he felt as free as he did right now, and it felt as though the fun would never stop. Of course he knew that eventually he'd have to get back to the question of running in the election... but that was a problem for future Megis. Current Megis was having too much fun to care about that. The weight that had been lifted from him was evident by the freshness of his body; while before he had carried bruises that refused to heal he was now squeaky clean.
Even rolling through the rough deserts of the West weren't enough to punish his body, though... he was beginning to feel a bit tired. That seemed odd; it'd been only an hour since he had last eaten. Had he burned through so much energy already? He did prefer to roll to get around rather than fly, which might have consumed more energy, but still something seemed off. And... where was he now?
The Diablo Desert had been inflicting it's usual harsh summer heat upon his skin just a few moments ago, yet now things were dark, and the little critters that had been crushed beneath his bowling body had all but disappeared. It was then that Megis realized that he had never seen this part of the world before, which was equal parts exciting and scary. Megis did not frighten easily, especially by a simple martial threat, yet Magic had always found a way to get beneath his skin.
Something magical was out here, and that's what was getting to the Majin, but at the same time Megis knew the potential that magic had to be used by the right practitioner. The temptation was too great to for Megis to look back, choosing to walk further and further into this dead land. The corpses of animals Megis couldn't even recognize were littered all about, and after just a few minutes of walking the Majin was forced down to his knees, his body leaking sweat as the pressure pushed down on him. "What... is this place?"
