It was time to pay old friends a visit. Prior to his Plant trip, Gandigan had been attempting to recruit various clans to his cause. The largest of the ones who had agreed to support him was Treses Capax clan, with the two others being the Ubric Clan and the Tapete Clan. Gandigan wanted to make sure he still had their support despite of the changes he was planning to make to their future, so he decided it was time to pay each of them a visit.
The first he went to was the Ubric Clan, who were now at eleven members. Apparently they had picked up a young runaway from a near by village which bolstered their numbers by one more. Still quite small compared to some of the big players, but every one counted to Gandigan. As soon as he stepped within the village boundary he could feel that something was off; it had been near a month since he had seen them, and they probably weren't happy on being kept in the dark.
He was here to rectify that. After a small chat with their elder, Ago, Gandigan found a small staging area and let his voice be heard to all the Mazoku of the village. "Ubric Clan. I came to spoke to you a month ago about a new future. You've probably been wondering where I've been, and what I've been doing, and questioning if that future still exists. I'm here to tell you that it does, but in a new light. I've come to tell you that I will staking a claim to the Mazoku crown, and I want your support."
Murmurs came from the crowd; some were too young to know of the King of the Mazoku, while others probably weren't interesting in having to bend their knee to him. One from the crowd stepped forward and spoke. "My name is Endil. I have been apart of the Ubric Clan for over a hundred years. In all that time the throne has been left vacant. No one has been worthy I say. What makes you think you're the one? Why should we support you?"
A question Gandigan had asked himself more than once. Why should anyone support him? "I can not claim to have any experience with being a King. But I can tell you that I have the strength to unite us. I have fought battles against powerful foes and come out victorious. I have bled for our people. If I win the support of the Mazoku and earn the crown I will do everything in my power to protect, and enrich the Mazoku people."
A few looked happy by that, but he could tell that he still hadn't won them over yet. "For as long as we have a vacant throne, the Mazoku people will remain divided. Is that what you want? To be picked on by those who surround you? I will unify our people, and I will put an end to the pointless infighting amongst our people. Rather than killing each other we shall uplift each other, and instead turn out combined might against our enemies."
That one did a little better; now he could see a few smiles in the crowd. But still he needed just a bit more to truly sell them on it. "And if you don't believe I can do it then feel this." Without warning Gandigan erupted into his full power, with a little thanks to some training on Plant he had managed to surpass what he was capable of the last time he was on Namek. "Now, does that sort of power feel like a King to you or not?"
