He was trudging his way through Korin Forest, getting lost so many times he lost count. "Stupid forest! Stupid mosquitos!" Ever the survivalist, he had brought three granola bars with him. They were all gone within the first hour. Now the sun was going down, and he still had no idea where he was or how close to his destination he was!
His destination was those big floating ruins in the sky over the forest. The boy had been there once before, only to be scared off by what he assumed to be a forest spirit. Either that or a mutant deer that learned to talk. But he would brave his fears of being cursed by spirits because Yogu desperately needed spiritual guidance. He had no idea what finding spiritual guidance looked like, but if it was anywhere, it would be in those floating ruins! Megis' words got to him, and he needed to figure out if he was a big wuss. he was. And if it was the right idea to use his power for something more noble than getting himself out of jams. obviously, yeah. Finally, he spotted those strange otherworldly ruins through the trees! "Yup. There it all is. Just kinda... Sittin' there."
What happened to cause someone to destroy it like that? Yogu steps over a chunk of ruin embedded in the forest floor. He swallows the thought that it was probably some horrible demon's doing and that the place is most definitely cursed. He decided on this mission. He would see it through.
A few minutes later, he was under the largest mass of Lookout shell still defying gravity. One issue became quite apparent to him now surveying the whole situation. He had no way up. "Well, this is just great!" What was he expecting? An elevator he missed the first time? "Okay, think... Alright! Just gotta... Fly. Easy." He'd seen people do it with ki before. It was a whole thing! "Alright... Focus... Go!" He jumps in the air and puts his hands up like a superhero! ...And nothing happens. "Darn." That was fine; he just needed to return to the drawing board. So, Yogu, the genius he is, climbs to the top of a tree, shakily stands up, and jumps off while flapping his arms! Surely his instincts would kick in, and he'd start going up! But no, he flew too close to the sun and began to fall back down to Earth.
