Megis rarely got the chance to rest in his position. Almost every day he was up from dawn to dusk, running out the city trying to get his name into as many people's minds as possible. Some days he felt as though he was doing more harm than good, considering the looks he would occasionally get, but he acted under the belief that any publicity was good publicity, though he wondered how Alva would feel about that. Once every two weeks he'd take the day off, and spend the whole twenty four hours asleep in one of his dojos.
On this one particularly lazy day, Megis's sleep was interrupted by the sound of a knock on his door. When he opened his Dojo he found a worried looking couple whom he had never seen before. "What is it?" He should have spoke with softer words, but he was grumpy. The couple told him a story of a small boy he had been seen walking the streets of the South City. When asked for more details on the boy, all the couple mentioned strange features such as odd arms which looked almost green, and one was covered in blood.
Megis... didn't really think there was much here that he cared about, though after that they told him that the boy had engulfed one of his arms in Ki, at which point they ran. Again Megis didn't really see a whole lot he needed to care about, but winning votes meant making people like you, and so to put the couple's mind at ease Megis promised to investigate.
South City was his city after all. If there were any new super powered folks (assuming he was above average) in town then he ought to know about them, and know whether they were friend or foe. Megis took to the streets, eventually finding himself in the same area that the couple had told him about. Megis gave the area a scan, hoping to find any Ki signatures which stood out. "Anybody seen a small boy around here? Apparently he looks rather strange; ring any bells?"
