Back to Konats. Every now and then Gandigan would question this mission, though he'd never voice those concerns to Marimba. He needed to be strong now; not just for himself, but for his people. If Gandigan didn't believe in himself, then why would the Mazoku? Killing Amon once and for all was something that needed to be done, and this was the only way he knew how to do so. Back to the damned city of Nasibu, to meet with the Kashvar.
His last visit had been with the Saiyan Delia, who was supposed to act as bodyguard while he went through his procedure. In the end he never did go through with his memory wipe, but he did catch a glimpse of something else: Guiding Candles. A small cache was located in a well protected stronghold; he would have made an effort to get a hold of one then and there, if not for the security. He didn't want to trifle with mages without being properly prepared.
His power had greatly increased since then, and now he was travelling with someone else. Although Marimba's power level was only roughly the same as Delia's, or maybe even slightly lower, he was someone the Mazoku trusted far more. Marimba had been extremely eager to assist in this task of his, insisting that Amon's assault on him had been an attack on all of Namek.
He briefly considered going back to Delia, to see if she might aid him in this as well, but without as much money on him as last time he figured there wasn't much point. She was a mercenary at the end of the day; only loyal to the one who can pay her, and the Kashvar could probably outbid him without issue. Maybe Mollusc could have joined them along for the trip but... the Warrior's power had slipped far below his own, as well as Marimba's. He didn't want to put him in a sort of danger that he couldn't handle.
And this was a Mazoku's issue to settle. The whole reason why this mess began was thanks to a rogue Mazoku clan who took their people's connection to the Oni far too seriously. Gandigan wanted it to be a Mazoku who struck down Amon, for all of the Demon realm to see, so that their kind knew that his was not their play thing. He and Marimba would see to that.
Their first task was making it through Aster Forest, which completely engulfed the city of Nasibu. Gandigan wasn't sure if Marimba had been there himself, but having made the trip so many times now Gandigan felt comfortable being a guide. With his enhanced powers, as well as Nero having purified his body of Amon's presence entirely, the Mazoku no longer feared whatever feral Kashvar they may run encounter within Aster; only the city itself would be a challenge.
"Marimba. This is Gandigan. Let's not delay this any more than we have to. I want this Amon business settled before any claims to the Mazoku throne are made; I shall display his head to the elders come that day. Follow my energy to the edge of the forest where I will meet you. We'll discuss things once you arrive."
