Megis had survived his encounter at the old Lookout ruins, though some might say he hadn't come away any better for it. In place of an ancient, magical base of operations he instead found himself with a new hairdo. The slick dark green hair wasn't anything a Majin should sport, but some part of him struggled to take it off. Bing had left his impression on him in more ways than one... but moving on from that, Megis wanted to keep busy.
He was planning on going to East City, to campaign somewhere less touched than him thus far, but first he wanted to take care of a little business in South City. He had been following the news and caught wind of a certain figure calling themselves a hero: a figure by the name of Zam; another Majin.
Megis couldn't recall encountering this Zam personally, and he intended to change that. He needed allies, and he needed someone who could keep his name on the lips of South City's citizens while he was away; Megis figured that he had something to offer Zam in return. He stayed up all night creating posters with Zam and Megis on them, asking for citizens to direct Zam in his direction, or better yet: to reach Zam himself. Then he spent the morning slapping them around town.
Megis himself would be waiting in his own martial arts dojo, which he had built himself last year. He hadn't actually had the time to find an instructor for it yet, which meant it had gone mostly unused, but that meant he and Zam could speak in private.
