After having arrived in the system, and aiding in Director Terium's work, the android, Sentry, finally lands at the spaceport of this massive city. Well, massive for this world at least. Sentry had left the spaceport and begun walking through the city, ignoring but not oblivious to the many eyes that turned its way. It was, at least, a cloudy day - so the planet's sun was not glaring off of Sentry's sheen alloy.
Sentry gazed only partly back at some of the crowds as it walked through them, its data collection programming in full swing logging the various humans and humanoid species. There were few alien species among them, but enough to show that the planet was not a stranger to newcomers from off world. But, they may not have seen too many so blatantly clear androids. Its feet clang against the concrete with each heavy step, hinting at the android's great weight.
Face after face, Sentry logged every species, every variant - and ever combat power. The vast majority of the population seemed to have an incredibly low combat power rating. Some as low as three, others as high as fifteen to twenty. There were the occasional beings that hit in the upper thirties, but those seemed largely to be the exceptions. Distantly, there were far, far greater powers - but those were already known to the Empire. Sentry's orders were simple - observe, record, and report.
Its orders demanded that Sentry do nothing to begin conflicts, and that its power could only be used to defend itself. Secondary programming command was to seek out potential recruits that may be willing to join the Empire. Sentry's commands even had contingency commands for if it were to encounter the more powerful beings, such as Derry. Eventually, Sentry comes upon a clearing where humans were walking their pets, and Sentry begins running through the data it had collected. None seemed particularly strong enough to consider approaching for recruitment purposes.
