While East City had no shortage of wonders for the easily-impressed alien to enjoy, it was also nice to explore Earth’s natural beauty as well. Moreover, while he’d been having a blast on Earth so far, he had to remember that the reason he’d come to this planet was to try and get through the block he’d been experiencing in his training - which meant he’d need to find a place to train where he wouldn’t disturb or endanger any of the rather frail earthlings he’d come to know. Not to mention keep him from running afoul of this planet’s law enforcement if he got a bit carried away. So he’d set out to Mount Paozu, a scenic destination that he thought might hold a suitable training ground.
So far, he was fairly impressed based on it’s beauty alone. He watched a few pteranodons flying around from a safe distance, marvelling at the majestic creatures, before his eyes landed on a rather scenic pond, fed by a majestic waterfall. Around it was a small, grassy valley with wildflowers growing sporadically throughout. “Perfect!” He declared, flying towards the picturesque landscape and landing next to the pond. He took a deep breath, gazing out over the gorgeous view, his tail wagging behind him. Unfortunately, what he didn’t notice was the stirring of the water in response to the waving, fluffy appendage.
“This’ll be a great spot to train.” He decided. Nobody around, a nice wide area, and he could easily fly to and from it from his residence in East City. “Guess I should start with some str-OUCH!” His fur bristled, eyes wide, as he looked back and saw a fish nearly as big as he was had clamped its jaws down on his tail, staring back at him with fishy malice.
“OW OW OW OW LET GO!” Teoh ran around the pond, slamming his assailant against the ground and loose rocks, but the damned thing was either too strong or too spiteful because if anything he just bit down harder, as though trying to sever Teoh’s tail from his body. “OOOOOOW! That’s it, now you’re sushiiiiOUCH!” He was becoming frantic, flailing his arms as he tried with all his might to dislodge the demon fish, now beginning to chase his tail in an effort to take a more hands-on approach to his predicament.
