CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE:
APPEARANCE:
(Dahlia Hawthorne from Ace Attorney with color+ear edits by me)
Standing at 5”2, Terra’s appearance is rather thin and delicate with little in the way of visible muscles or bulk. She typically dresses in pink and white dresses, and often holds a pink parasol with a floral pattern around its rim. In addition, she likes to carry a pink scarf, with material so thin it’s transluscent.
Like most Herans, her skin is blue and her ears are pointed. Though red headed, it is less intensely orange than most herans. The ginger hair is typically braided, but is naturally long, straight hair. This is most obvious from battle damage or being sufficiently soaked, but excessive anger can also cause her hair to be undone. Her eyes are a pale green, though they can turn pure pupilless white if her emotions grow too intense.

BACKGROUND:
Terra was the daughter of a pair somewhat notable raiders, who were caught by Arcosians while raiding a backwater planet that the Empire itself had chosen to invade. The infant Terra was found by one of the Eis family in the aftermath, and they chose to adopt her. Not necessarily out of kindness, more out of a combined curiosity and interest as to if she could be shaped into something better. Nothing was particularly notable about the Eis clan among those of Arcose, at least on the surface. They were shrewd, observant, and careful to stay out of trouble with larger clans, avoiding direct lines connecting them to anything too untoward. Terra never really knew her real parents, only the Arcosians who raised her. Now, Terra couldn't care less about her biological parents, or what became of them.
Eis did not treat her gently, with those in the family teaching her personally. Few expected her to so easily intergrate herself as a member of the family, expecting the young Heran to be more trouble than she was worth. The Herans were known to be violent, and the Eis clan, bluntly, weren't. Yet she still thrived, growing into a true model member of the family despite her heritage. Though never at the forefront of the Eis family, she was nonetheless one of them. No less able to navigate Arcose and only slightly less regarded.
Truthfully, Terra is no less bloodthirsty than most Herans, but she hides her bloodlust far better. That said, she believes the typical Heran ways to be outdated. Those old ideals worked when you could count on being the strongest on any given planet, but such an expectation was no certainty nowadays. Quite the opposite, in fact. Moreover, it was simply not how she would like to be seen. Any boorish brute could simply cave in the face of all who opposed them, anyone who was strong could break those who were weak. She would show strength, and not merely in the brutish manner that a typical Heran would.
No, you shouldn't show anger and rage to every small impediment, you had to show control. Decorum was important, after all. That was not to say that brute force had no place, but that it was not to be used at all times. Being raised by an Arcosian family likely fostered these ideals, but she holds them regardless.

Now, with so much happening in the universe, perhaps it was her turn to step forward more. Both for her own sake, and the sake of her family. Though they did not like to be at the forefront, the Universe might not stay so tolerant of inaction.
COMBAT INFORMATION
TECHNIQUES:
Light Defense || Dismissive Swat
An abrupt slap to an incoming attack, knocking it harmlessly aside. At least, harmlessly for her. It might cause a light sting if she slaps a physical attack away, but no lasting harm.
Power: 20%
KP Cost:1 KP

Power: 20%
KP Cost:1 KP
Variants:
Medium Defense || Glassy Barrier
Terra shapes her ki into a pink barrier in front of her, that explodes into sharp fragments that shoot outward on impact. These fragments can travel deceptively fast and far after breaking, allowing for far away enemies to be struck.
Power: 50%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: ReflectiveMedium Offense || Beautiful FragmentsADDITIONAL NOTES: Call the first two forms Practiced Serenity and Hidden Wrath. Third form remains Focused Fury, and I’ll come up with other forms names if/when that matters.
Terra allows ki to flit towards her enemy, potentially shaped. On contact, or when Terra decides they are close enough, the ki detonates. The Ki is kept something approximating solid as it bursts, with intent to lodge itself in the body of the target to cause some lasting pain and injury.
Power: 50%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants: Bleed
Moderate Offense || Pretty Burst
10k Technique
A large ball of pink ki that explodes on contact with anything, imparting all of its force onto the target. Technically, it can be shaped somewhat, but that doesn’t change the use much. It’s still a large clump of ki that flies at reasonable speeds and explodes.
Power: 70%
KP Cost: 4 KP
Variants:
Light Offense || Graceful Strike
20k Technique
A measured, powerful punch. There isn't anything special to it, and it doesn't require too much effort.
Power: 20%
KP Cost: 1 KP
Variants:
Support || Measured Emotion/ Rage (MAX Power)
Thirst for Power Technique
Ordinarily, this is a technique where Terra focuses her body and ki completely, channelling and controlling her anger to simply strike harder while remaining in control. Alternatively, if she cannot control that anger, she may just go berserk and lash out with more power than she usually uses. Mechanically, there is no difference.
You may activate Max Power at the very start of your post, increasing the power of all of your techniques by +10% while active. This prevents you from gaining more than 1MP per turn naturally, using evasive or escape techs, blocking escapes, and intercepting attacks meant for others. You can only turn it off at the end of a post, at the end your second post after activation at the earliest. You will not regain any MP on the post you turned it off on. If you run out of MP, you lose Max Power's effects at the end of your post and cannot gain any MP on your next turn.
Sparking Heavy Offense || The Wonderful Rays
Terra shoots out a glassy wall of ki, before firing ki through it. This causes the ki to fragment wildly across the battlefield in a series of thin beams rapidly flying outward, striking any who are unfortunate enough to be caught in the path. More of the beams are focused on a specific target, but they’ll generally hit anyone she isn’t carefully avoiding.
Power: 120%
KP Cost: 6 KP
Variants: Quake, Quake+
Utility Technique || Ki Supression
Terra is proficient at controlling her power level, easily able to manipulate it down to a single PL if she wishes. She prefers low hundreds when not in combat, however.
Utility Technique || Ki Shaping
Terra is adept at shaping her ki as she wishes, allowing the ki to take numerous appearances or even to remain harmless. This ki can also be given some instruction, though nothing too complex. Typically this is in the form of pink butterflies and flower petals floating around her, but other forms can be used as desired.
In its harmless state, the ki generally feels pleasantly warm to the touch. This can escalate to burning if she chooses, and the ki tends to ignite abruptly if she grows angered too quickly. She can also manipulate the colour from various shades of purple and pink to white. Regardless of the shape, color and harmfulness, the ki is obviously identifiable as ki.
