ALIASES: Young Gemus.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
APPEARANCE: Sparge stands at 6'2" and is broadchested, and thick legged, he could be compared to a wall with a large halbeard in his off hand, he has a bald head and big bushy eyebrows, his eyes are often glancing around the area looking for potential threats. He typically wears Saiyan armour with a brown jumpsuit underneath
BACKGROUND: Sparge is a fine young man that took to Gemus’ side and tried to learn everything he could from his Step-Father, however, he perhaps was too patient, too hesitant, very trapped in his own ideals and sometimes needed reminded that rules and regulations often come second in a battle, even a sanctioned one. It often appeared that he would be trying to remember moves from a textbook than trusting his memory or instinct. Gemus knew he could get him to trust in these in time, but for now, teaching him more would garner the most strength. He now goes with his family, to try and become a Royal Guard.
Sparge, was adopted at the age of 7, Gemus and his wife were unable to have children due to their older bodies, but Sparge had also slipped through the adoption system for Saiyan children due to his quieter nature and love of studying, admittedly he did mostly study combat forms, military history and the great Saiyan philosophers of years gone by. But this led to his natural combat level being inferior even to the younger adoptees and students at the school he attended.
He was very much an observer, never mingling with the crowds always watching, analysing fights when they occurred and anticipating them breaking out, following group trends and social ties. After being adopted he would pester Gemus endlessly about his time during the war and his subsequent time serving the King. All were dutifully answered where privacy and secrets did not bind the Older Sayin’s tongue.
His physical training was arduous and thorough to the point of mundanity, he was pushed but he never seemed to reach his potential, always held back by the inability to rely solely on technique, Gemus had pushed him to extremes, even forcing him to become the might Oozaru one full moon, but it was to no avail, and he demanded that his father cut his tail off so that he might never lose control like that again.
Gemus obliged and freed him of his powerful birthright. After this though he began to win some fights at school, his technique often enough to get past lesser opponents and put better ones on the backfoot, but these were all students still. Any real fight would leave him flummoxed and striving for his memory to call forth an appropriate response, or for Gemus to shout in place of such.
In his years beyond schooling, he became a scholar, studying endless texts of forms, techniques and everything martial, but it never seemed to improve, not until his mother passed. He was able to channel his grief with his family into training, Gemus told them he wished to return to his former role with them as his companions, to form a new royal guard around the king. It was during this time he and Kohl developed greatly and formed a bond, they were bound by law to be brothers and now it was time to be bound by their determination and understanding of one another.
