Fear My Wrath! [Closed]

    Fend's first venture to the north was going well. Earth's South City was full of life and plenty of equally strange faces- the hooded and masked Shinjin got a lot less confused stared than she originally anticipated. Lying back against a sloped on a rooftop with her arms behind her head, Fend breathed a content sigh as she looked over the bustling cityscape and quaint park beneath her. The smell of cooked goods in the air, hustle and bustle of cars and people below, the chilly wind in what little was exposed of her hair... Fend was very glad she'd finally worked up the guts to get out of the hellhole her people called Heaven.

    ...Though, sometimes, Earth wasn't much better, if the newfound sound of someone shouting was anything to judge. Fend instantly lurched upright, hand latching onto the blade sheathed on her back. Below now was a... Demon? Alien? Fend wasn't sure, but what was more important was what they were yelling about. Something about being a God of Destruction. If such a thing existed, the Shinjin would know about it. But even hearing the word "god" caused Fend to groan in dismay...

    When debris started to be thrown around and buildings shot up, though, Fend's instincts took over as she vanished from sight...

    ...and reappeared right next to Gemmul, intent to deliver a swift hook with her fist right into the destructive deity's face. If there was one plus to being a Shinjin, the ability to teleport was definitely a good one. "You're more of an asshole than a god, to be honest," Fend hopped back and quipped regardless of the success of her brief melee attack, hissing with clear bitterness in her tone. "Fuck off and leave these people alone, or I'll make you."

Fend's Utility Technique, Ki Masquerade is in effect. This hides her Ki from feeling like that of a Shinjin!

Tsaoko couldn't help but keep grinning at the self-proclaimed god girl over his shoulder.  Having someone be happy to see him, instead of just indifferent or annoyed like back home, was a welcome change.  It lit the fire under him to fight even more.  The call to give their opponents a 'death as pathetic as their life' gave him pause, though.  Was Tsaoko actually expected to kill people here?  He panicked for a second, and the shock was evident on his face for just a moment, but then he swallowed it down.  "Y-yeah, of course, your, uh.  Your godliness!" He replied, trying to keep his cool, "We'll take care of them together."

The masked fighter seemed very preoccupied with the fact that Gemmul wasn't truly a god.  To that, Tsaoko just threw his head back and scoffed, "Pssh, what're you talking about?  The way I see it, god's a state of mind.  If you do whatever you want, and no one can stop you, well... not much more godly than that."  The red-haired, blue-skinned stranger he hadn't been paying much attention to stepped out from the sidelines.  He was joining the masked one's side.  Great, now they were outnumbered.  Uncertainty flashed across Tsaoko's face again.

Suddenly, there was shouting off to their left.  Taunting and the declaration of an attack, from the one Tsaoko was actually fighting right now.  Shit.  He shouldn't have taken his eyes off the human.  He fired a surprisingly tiny marble of energy towards him, but surely that had to be a trick.  The attack must have been a highly condensed, powerful blast of ki!  Instinctively, Tsaoko petrified their own body into stone to take the blow, squeezing their eyes shut to brace for the impact...

...And basically didn't happen.  Only a pebble's worth of stone was chipped away from Tsaoko's body, and when he opened his eyes, the human was laying face-down on the ground, apparently incapacitated.  The oni blinked in confusion.  Was that really all the energy Yogu had?  How sad.  They weren't about to question their good turn of fate, though!  The numbers were even now, and they turned to face Fend and Erbia.

"You wanna end up like him?" They taunted, despite not laying a finger on Yogu to begin with, "Then come get some!"

    Fend cringed as Tsaoko explained their take on what a god was. Having met the "gods" themselves in the form of the other Shinjin, who were so content to just sit and watch the mortal world like it was some reality TV show, the demon's words struck a nerve within Fend. "And what does that make her when I manage to stop her?" She growled back to Tsaoko, a newfound bitterness in her voice.

    Then there was the human. Though she wasn't expecting much from him, Fend found herself started by how readily he ran into this dangerous situation despite his apparent weakness. His ki was above average for an Earthling, but that wasn't a very high bar to meet, if his pathetically low-power Kamehameha was anything to judge. She'd move to nudge the sleeping human with her foot to wake him. "Kid, if that's all the energy you got, then I suggest you leave so you don't fuggin die."

    Erbia stepped in, shooting an offhand comment to the tired human before making an offer to Fend. In return for help with this fight, she'd teach the Heran what to look for when sensing a god's ki. "Y'know what? Sure. Beats you sittin' on your rear and doing nothing." She shrugged, readjusting her stance and moving to stand beside her newfound ally. "And my name is Fend, not 'missy'."

    In response to the "god of destruction's" threats and offer to let the two leave, Fend just rolled her eyes. "Unless you're going to get a sense of self-preservation, screw off for the rest of eternity, and leave this city alone, then fuck no. I'd like to see you keep parading around on this high horse of yours after I drag you off of it by trashing you here and now." Ki began to gather in Palibur's blade, causing flickers of light magic to fly from the sparse cracks in the worn sword's hilt. There was no reason to play around in this fight and go easy like she had when facing Erebos- real people were at risk of being killed, and she had to do something about it...

    ...And Fend found it smartest to start by taking care of the one shielding Gemmul first. Without a word, Fend rushed forwards towards Tsaoko, aiming to leap above the Oni. A flurry of sharp blasts of ki cascaded from her blade's tip as she stabbed it forwards into the air, aiming to swiftly stagger them and give Erbia an opening to handle Gemmul.

Combat begins! Fend starts off with a powerful Thousand-Fold Cranes attack technique for 3,500 PL, aimed at Tsaoko! This has the PIERCING variant.
