He did not know if he had ever been around here before. It did remind him of the mercenary outpost after a fashion, but not so much in the way it flowed; there was no such thing as the chaos and outright raw presence that filled its streets. A little stranger but familiar, it looked like a mixture of things from an era long gone and settlements that probably belonged to Tuffles once upon a time. An old town, definitely. It was his kind of town, for certain, more so than any bustling capital, alas he did not quite care much for it as a place but more so what it could offer to him.
They had won. Hatchi was safe. Even if they returned one day, he would be strong enough to swat them away. He did not think this way because of the Super Saiyan or anything at all, rather finally he felt room to grow, it was no longer just a question of technique or raw power. He had much thought to offer to such an ideology and one that perhaps the people of Namek would know something about with their deep knowledge of the soul and its limitless boundaries.
His goal remained ever to defend and would drive him, but he had a little second hobby now: grow stronger for the sake of growing stronger. A little simple but perhaps simple enough to the point where he could go nuts with it.
Still that could not be the only thing down his to do list. Even if they had won, there was still the matter of any possible insurgents or the presence of Fukushu’s men to be established. Of course no one could potentially start showing off might and power to drive any one of those away, therefore he decided to visit as a customer, to get an idea of such presences on the outskirts of the capitals. He was pretty sure both Cheri and Amara could handle having those places inspected on their own.
No better place to start than with a tavern. Nasu sat across the counter with both arms that rested respectively upon each lap, one hand rose and signaled to the guy.
“Ale. And something to bite down.”
Choosing anything other than that, such as water, would likely drive suspicion. Besides, it was not like alcohol usually had any effect on him. With ease he just kind of rested both arms over the counter and tried to use his ears to listen while his eyes observed, quietly. All the while the good old man behind the counter went off to satisfy Nasu’s request.Thread Power Level: 109,000
