As the heran man went down like a sack of potatoes, Zerori didn’t hesitate to turn her sights on the others in the room, itching to get her fists into the faces of those that deserved it! However, within seconds, the melee had died down and most of the pirates in the room had either escaped or been taken down. With a disappointed frown, Zerori placed her hands on her hips and looked down at the heran man as he groaned. “Well, this fuckin sucks…” Before giving him a lackadaisical kick to the side, turning around to talk to her crew. “Not bad, guys!”
However, as Azoth recognized her, Zerori realized that her little ploy to pretend she was the leader of this impromptu pack was over. She gave a shrug, though the smile on her face was evidence that she was glad to see him, “This is 24/7 for me, Azoth! Where ever the fight is-” She flicked her nose with her thumb, sniffing confidently, “-I ain’t never far behind.” She would have wanted to talk more to Azoth about her exploits, however untrue they were, but another Arcosian was approaching…
-and this one might have actually been in charge. As Zerori listened to the red-gemmed Arcosian speak, she could feel her blood start a boil a little - barely satisfied by the gratitude and ‘favor’ he was offering. In typical fashion, Zerori spoke before she thought about it.
“Uh, who’s a vigilante? I just wanted to kick some ass,” She narrowed her eyes, leaning in uncomfortably close into his personal space, “I couldn’t give a rat’s ass if I violated one of your procedures. Still,” She grinned, showing off her fangs, “I’ll take the compliment.” Holding out one of her fists with the intent to offer a fist-bump, she barked, “Zerori. I’m the new Demon around town! Nice to meet ya!” She looked at the others, demanding, “And who are you guys? I know Azoth,” She threw a thumb in his direction, before also pointing to the robot that was still hiding under the table, “and that little fucker.”
She turned her head, ears twitching pointedly to reveal that she’d listened to his odd little voice-throwing trick, recognizing his voice to put two and two together. She wasn’t in the habit of blowing anyone cover, however. So if the little guy didn’t intend to give away his boss, she was satisfied with letting him do his own thing.
“It’s too bad the boss dipped,” She stated, winking at the robot. “Woulda liked to have paid him a beating myself.”
