Lux, the city of wonders! Someone had to have called it that at some point before, at least. Salvo hadn't been to any particularly active, bustling cities in quite some time, as fugitives of the Galactic Patrol typically needed to keep their heads down in busy population centers. Lux, though, was different. This place was basically entirely cut off from the rest of its own planet, let alone the rest of the galaxy. It was all too easy for unsavory types like Salvo to move about undetected in a city this remote and dense with folks who all had their own good reasons for not wanting to raise a fuss.
Shady characters like these were what kept shady characters like Salvo in business, when things got dry on the pillaging end. Namek bored Salvo, now. Too many righteous types looking out for all the little guys on that backwater planet, in her opinion. In a place like Lux, though, nobody looked out for anybody. Just as things ought to be.
Yacin, a Konatsian member of Salvo's crew, had reached ahead with some of her influences and managed to secure a spot for their crew to advertise their business in one of the shadier sectors of the already-enshadowed city. Salvo made her way past mercenaries for hire, hitmen, assassins, and all sorts of folks who adverised their trades as though this were some sort of convention, until she found a small booth in the corner with a small, cardboard plaque paced atop it that had 'Haren Pierat Ladie' written on it in black marker.
While she furrowed her brows at the spelling, she had to assume this was her spot. Salvo wasted no time unpacking the bright, colorful sign her crew had put together with their own sets of markers, and propped it up over her booth before taking a seat and kicking her feet up.
Maybe it wasn't the fanciest sign, but her crew had been working real hard to learn how to read and write lately, and when they presented it to her as their main advertising poster, well, she just couldn't say no to those guys. Besides, it got the message across, right? All she had to do was sit and wait for the job requests to come lining up in front of her...
