Sparring with Spacemen (Open)

Alright. He'd definitely gotten a little lost.

Hopping from island to island made things difficult. With an outdated map and a lack of proper ways to gauge distance, he shot past south city entirely, and ended up somewhere in the northern regions of the world. In this odd turn of events he ended up finding something he'd heard about in the few times his father told him of outside dealings. A place where warriors had come to battle in the old times, now ruined by some destructor or another.

The shattered remains swam among the frosty ocean, and yet still warriors made their pilgrimage here. He saw pockets of fighters sparring and meditating, and others still simply surveying the land, like himself. It made him feel at home, in some odd way. To know the world housed so many fighters gave him a sense of peace.

And then an explosion occurred, and his peace was shattered.

An alien, pink and powerful, demanded a challenge. Bing tensed himself, readying for battle. The others here- they were far too weak to pose anything close to a challenge! Bing himself wasn't enough either, but he wasn't about to let these folks fend for themselves.

With a harsh shout, his body exploded in an emerald glow. To the limit he could handle. Triple his power, if not a bit more. Nothing compared to the monster before him, but maybe he'd appease it, if nothing else.

"Hear me, warrior. I am nothing before you, and yet I accept your challenge! All I ask is that you leave the others be as we battle." He tossed his travel pack to the wayside, letting it fall atop what was once a section of the battle arena. "Do you accept my terms?"

Bing felt some of the tension release when the beast accepted. Powering down to make the fight more even, it offered him the first strike. Whilst the duo floated above the choppy waves, others dispersed. Understandable, and exactly what he hoped for. The few who stayed to watch were rather brave, but hopefully he could teach them a thing or two. If he survived long enough, that is.

"I thank you for this kindness." The Martial Artist slipped into a battle stance. One arm hung low past his waist, whilst the other kept itself high behind his head. A serpent's tail, ready to strike out with vicious venom. "Let us both learn from this battle: Myself the courage to face danger, and for you, perhaps humility."

He smirked, knowing the words might rile his foe up, and launched across the expanse. From his fists came a flurry of knife-handed strikes. Chops and swipes, thrusting jabs and even a few slippery kicks as well. Though Bing did not possess raw power, he made up for it with speed and precision. Even so, the battle before him was near-impossible. The gap in their strength lessened by choice alone. When the beast decided it was time to be done, Bing would surely lose.

And yet this excited him. To fight a losing battle was to find a way to win. Surely he could do that, and if not, his body would grow from the pain. As all things did.

Astonishing! The pink powerhouse took blow after blow, seemingly unphased by every strike! Bing hid his shock and steeled himself. Surely that was his opponent's specialty. To withstand strikes like they were but paper against stone. The fighter returned to his stance as the pink warrior backed away, watching with careful eyes as the monster contorted itself into a... Ball?

Yes indeed. Durable, flexible, and deadly. Bing's astonishment left him with little time to act, and in a moment of weakness, he was forced to keep himself in the line of fire. His arms came up over his chest, but it did little to stop the power from washing over him. Pain seared his arms as he was pushed back, flying end-over-end across the ocean.

Grunting, he forced his momentum to stop moments later, panting harshly as he regained his composure. A sharp blow to take indeed, but it gave him a vague sense of just how serious the gap between them was. If he could inflict such damage with a single blow, and when suppressing himself this much? Bing shook his head, and found his courage again. The hands balled to fists, and he regarded the creature.

"You've yet to tell me your name, warrior. Is that an honor I'll have to earn?"

Waiting for his foe to respond, he'd loose a few energy attacks at Megis. Small, precise bolts of Ki, aiming to deal damage from afar and force the Majin to come in yet again.

To say the battle was an odd one would be an understatement. It was like Megis didn't care if he got hurt, or perhaps that he wasn't being hurt whatsoever. He'd heard of fighters with incredible wells of stamina, but this was insanity! To not even flinch? Bing let his lip twitch in concern, only to have it contort to shock when Megis came down upon him like a constricting boa snake.

Bing's body vanished when skin met skin. An after-image, perhaps?

"Bing Gan is my name, sir. Son of Tang Gan, and practitioner of the Serpent Style of martial arts."

Bing now floated a good few feet away, his breathing a bit heavier. He put in some serious work to evade that blow, as was evident by the sudden, sharp rise in his power output. Energy flowed about him like a sea of leaves, and, as he brought his arms close to his chest, the energy collected together.

"I've never had to use this technique in a battle before, so forgive my lack of control!"

His hands held close together as the energy swelling in his palms grew larger, forcing them to separate. Glowing green, the attack begged to be loosed, and yet it was not ready. Not by Bing's estimation, at least. Precision was needed. Precision and focus.

"Feel my sting!"

Suddenly, his hands moved, thrusting forward like the open jaws of a predator. From the opening, a spiraling green wave of Ki shot across the expanse. It was strong, and its glow bathed the sea in its emerald might. As it traveled across the sky, he suddenly jerked his hands outward, splitting them apart, and in doing so, shattering the beam into two halves! The twin beams diverged, and attempted to pin Megis in from both sides!

Despite all he'd learned of his foe, Bing still hadn't expected this.

Looking over his foe, he noticed at about the same time as Megis that the man's foot was gone. Lopped off by the raw energy. Bing couldn't hold his surprise any longer, and let out a shocked gasp. How?! He didn't even put that much power into it, not at least compared to Megis' own strength. Had he mortally wounded his foe? No. He was angry, but incredulously. The kind of fury that came from someone bumping into you and dropping your ice cream.

"I... Wow."

Catching himself in the right moment, Bing slipped to the side just as the head came surging forth. This, in turn, allowed him to slither away from the downward smash as well. Try as he might to find a way to rationalize counter-attacking, he paused.

"Wait! Go... Pick up your foot." There was raggedness to his breath, and as the offer came from him, a sudden memory hit him.

Dosu. The alien. He mentioned fighting a pink warrior who could fight while headless. Maybe this was the same species? If only he'd asked more about it! If he wasn't in such a deadly scenario, he'd have slapped himself on the forehead.

"We can pause for a moment, can we not? This is merely a spar. Collect what you need; I can wait."
Cautiously, he floated a bit away, watching with curiosity to see what the Majin would do.

Of all the things Bing should have thought to expect, rage was certainly one lower on his mental checklist. Courtesy was nice to offer against someone you knew, but on occasion, strangers take offense to such niceties. Labeling that slip-up as something to work on later, Bing steeled himself, powering up again as Megis' head erupted with steam yet again. A sign of his frustration, but perhaps more helpful for Bing-- a sign of coming danger.

Crackling lights brought about doom. Megis was powerful, yes, but this was the strongest yet. Unsure of how to properly defend himself against this, the young serpent warrior brought his arms across himself, preparing for the worst. In a battle like this, his training's focus on speed rather than defense would unfortunately fail him. The energy came upon him with violent strength, dealing unmatched pain. Bing shuddered as the volatile Ki wracked his nerves, burning fresh holes in his Gi and sending his senses into overdrive. It was sheer luck that kept Bing conscious. Smoke plumed, and his howl of pain echoed out into the endless ocean for miles.

As the smoke cleared, Bing felt his stance waver. He was hunched over, burn marks etched across his skin. One eye forced itself closed, and the other's vision was blurred. To say this match was over would be an understatement.

"Impressive. Know that your strength is worthy of accolade."

Doubly so. For, in truth, Megis was holding back. Had that been at full strength, Bing would be mist on the morning breeze.

"I have one last attack I myself would like to try."

This was a foolish idea. Crazy! The type of thing that father would never allow! But father was not here, and he had to impress his foe somehow. To do any less would mean the beast would take out his fury on the other onlookers.

Bing clapped his hands together, and an orb of Ki began to grow in-between them. Despite the pain, despite his shortness of breath, he charged it. With his very own life force, it began to sizzle between his fingers. Growing larger and larger, the orb was too much to contain, and just like before it forced his hands away from one another, this time with a more violent shove.

"I hope you enjoy the show... SERPENT'S BITE!"

Wasting no time, Bing loosed the wave with shuddering muscles, allowing the spiraling beam to erupt from him. Larger and more volatile than before, the wave stayed solid, aiming to wash over Megis and do to him what he'd done to Bing!

Unsure of the attacks effects, Bing felt his Ki failing him, as he slowly began to lose height in the air. Soon he'd hit the ocean, or if luck served him, perhaps a nice large piece of rubble...
