The Final Hunt (Conquest AT)

An immediate message sent from a spy; assets were being tampered with, the culprit however was one that warranted a moment of surprise. It was a simple matter to ignore, but how could one take any pride in their work if they ignored issues in their own territory? She had no other choice, between what she claimed was her and what she didn't, it was clear which one took priority. Today... It just HAD to be today... She would think to her self as anger and frustration began to seethe within her. Her tail would slam viciously onto the deck of her ship, denting the floor as she waited "patiently" for the holds door to slide open.

Overhead, a ship would come out of cloak; while it was of a much smaller size than the Freezing Horizon, it was large enough to warrant concern. A destroyer class ship, one meant for planetary bombardment; though it's current payload was no mere warhead, but the mother of all bombs. The door to the cargo hold would slide open, as it did, a massive power would boom through the area before a sudden blast would fire off from the ship directly down towards the group of Saibamen that Saiba-ban had just released. The blast wasn't meant to do them harm, though considering it's strength, it wouldn't have been out of the realm of possibility.

There would be no pause from the initial blast however, in an explosive display, Zuqetta would blast off from the ship, rocking it slightly as she made her way planet side. In nearly an instant, Zuqetta would slam into the ground several meters away from Saiba-Ban, creating a small crater as she did so. Smoke and dust would cloud the area, but her existence within would be clear; if not by the power that could be felt or read with scouters, then by the shiny blue aura that rip and tore through the smoke.

"Lottus-" Zuqetta would say lowly through gritted teeth through her scouter, "Something's come up." She'd finish plainly in a rather aggressive tone, before removing her scouter from her face and crushing it within her grip violently; her energy would rage around her at the act, sending away the cloud that shrouded her before she began to walk out of the crater to approach Saiba-Ban.

"THAT WAS MERELY A WARNING SHOT!" Zuqetta would yell, rage and fury clearly evident in the tone of her voice, "I thought you were smarter than this, Ban!" She'd continue, eyeing down the Saibaman, "I heard your plea at the palace, and while I might not actively sit upon the throne, did you even think to reach out!? Did you even TRY to negotiate with Amara? She sits upon the throne for a reason, she's level headed, she'd have at LEAST listened to you, but even if she didn't, I was always here to help you!" She'd shout, clenching her fist as sh looked over towards the destruction the Saibaman had already caused, "No, instead, you come into territory I call home, and begin messing with the order here... I gave you my card Ban, remember? I'm a mercenary, and you've just attacked my place of business!!!"

Zuqetta could feel her frustration building; she'd cease her explanation, taking a deep breath to calm herself so as to not make a hasty decision. It wasn't like her to become so frustrated over wanton destruction, but the Mercenary Outpost felt different; coupled with the fact that Ban had decided to strike against her people, the rush of emotions she felt was nearly overwhelming.

"This is NOT the way, Ban." Zuqetta would say as calmly as she could, "Retreat, I don't want to hurt you, but if you continue on this path, I won't hold back." She'd continue, her energy flaring around her as she tried to maintain her composure, "If you leave now, all will be forgiven. You can contact me after, and we can work together on a plan to give your people the rights they've been neglected."

As she finished, further ships would be released from the destroyer above; landing around the Outpost, her crew of soldiers would begin to surround the area in an attempt to keep further merchandise from escaping. A medical ship would touch down, with a contingent of personnel immediately taking to aiding those that Saiba-Ban had already assaulted. It was Saiba-Ban's move now, and Zuqetta could only hope he'd make the correct one; the less destruction to the area, the better, but considering how things had gone at the palace, she was sure it wouldn't be that easy...

As Dark and Ban had both surmised, there likely couldn't have been a better time for Saiba-Ban to enact his little escape plan; the only issue was his own lack of troops, and more importantly, his target of choice. Had he began with the Acidic Lagoon where plenty of his kind frequented, or with any other off-shoot Saiba Ranch out in the wastes, then things might have gone differently. Unfortunately, it was the Mercenary Outposts of all things that he sought to strike; Zuqetta wasn't any happier than Ban was that she had to be here, but if she placed personal relations over her business, then she wouldn't have become the one she was today.

"Ban." Zuqetta began, taking a deep breath as she attempted to remain calm, "You're the only one of your kind; while this doesn't mean the rest of your species are incapable of change similar to your own, it does mean that the way they're viewed by the Saiyan's and Tuffles both is as nothing but fodder. Your people were born of experimentation, they're a creation that's gotten out of hand and spread. As a businessman, you should understand that while you might have had the perfect timing to "liberate" the saiba-men that are at this outpost, that this action is no more than a theft of merchandise." She'd explain, her fist shaking as she refrained from allowing her more violent thoughts to bubble to the surface.

Ban had made a fair point, his people were indeed being moved back to their pens for varying fates unknown. Between being used as weapons, or being slaughtered for food, regardless of their destination it seemed that each and every Saibaman here was destined for death. Zuqetta began to calm further, if now was to be the moment of negotiation then she could do so, and suffer what consequences may have come; her efforts to calm however, would be in vein, as another of a familiar form of energy would suddenly announce himself, standing between she and Ban with his grandiose size. The man criticized the course of action Zuqetta had decided to take, and while likely not his tone, had felt to Zuqetta like he had demanded her to leave the area should she wish to continue what he referred to as "a squabble".

First as a low hum, then as a building steady rumble; the grounds would begin to shake as Zuqetta's previously lessening energy of calm would begin to wisp and flare with the return of her previous rage. There was much she wanted to respond to this insult with; she was the most well known of the Mercenary Outpost, which meant that this man before her clearly wasn't of her employ if he could so brazenly stand against her. Buildings could be repaired, staff could be replaced, and merchandise reacquired; he had mentioned before a minor remark, "did she wish to see them all killed?", to tell him the truth would be to say that if all that remained in the universe were Saiyans, she wouldn't bat an eye. There was much she wanted to say to this man, to this individual with an energy similar to the other FALSE GODS she'd encounter, but instead she would merely raise her right hand up to her side as several blades would materialize to left of this man.

"Be gone." She'd say plainly, giving a wave of her hand and assailing the man with a rush of the summoned blades.

She didn't care whether the man lived or died; if there was anything that pissed her off the most in the universe, it was all these false gods going around preaching about how right they were and how wrong the rest of the "mortal" were. Perhaps Dark would protect the man from an instant death, or perhaps Ban would, Zuqetta didn't care. Now, her attention would focus once again on Ban, and with a rage returned in spite of her best efforts to contain it. She could have negotiated here, she might as well have considering what she felt herself missing over in Hatchi City; her previous plans had been derailed, and it had all been because a business man was afraid to do business.

"Alright Ban!" Zuqetta would shout, "Let's go ahead an negotiate!" She'd continue, snapping her fingers and summoning a plethora of blades in the sky that would drop down quickly; the blades would stop just above the pens the Saibamen currently found themselves in, with one blade per Saiba, "Here are your options to this negotiation! You can "liberate" as much of MY merchandise as you'd like, and your time limit is the time it takes all these blades to come down upon their heads!" She'd explain as a sharp, somewhat maniacal grin began to force its way onto her face, "You can instead choose to depart now, sparing the lives of any of my defective products that you can negotiate for later!" She'd continue, bringing her hand above her head and lowering is slightly; causing all the summoned blades to lower in kind by a few centimeters, "Heh heheheh, though I suppose if you're more keen on the third option of Saiyan Tradition-" She'd remark, glancing towards wherever Dark decided to find himself with a sly grin, "-I wouldn't be opposed to such an option! But to clarify, your success depends on the defeat of ALL who stand against you, much like with the Saiyan Crown; thing is, while Dark here might frequent the Outpost as he fancies, the merchandise you're threatening is MINE." She'd snap with a flare of power spiraling around her, "So really weigh your options here, business man."

A man was done for the count, his energy fading to non-existence, while Zuqetta's forces would approach to surround the area. The Outpost was in the process of being evacuated, with merchandise and non-combatants being moved as necessary in case Saiba-Ban made this much larger of an event. Zuqetta was ready to strike, her excitement building as she watched Ban's attempt to protect his kin, dissolving a vast majority of the blades she'd conjured in the immediate vicinity as he continued to argue for their safety. She began to laugh, crude and maniacal, a slow build of a laugh the Dark might find most reminiscent of a particular Saiyan he'd scarred once upon a time. As Dark spoke up however, her thoughts would snap back from the chaotic state they'd enjoyed as she mulled over both Ban and Dark's remarks in equal measure.

"Hmm, damn... I guess you do have a bit of a point." She'd begin, crossing her arms in annoyance as she responded to Dark, "Very well, I like your moxie Ban! You want a fair fight? And Dark is more than keen on havin' a bit of fun, so how about this-!" She'd exclaim as she turned about and began to walk away from Ban; giving a snap of her fingers and dispelling any remaining blades that threatened Ban's people, "Have your fair match with Dark, and if you win, I'll free all the Saiba-men kept captive here and heck, even let you take them at no charge!" She'd say as she threw her hand out before her, conjuring a platform with her magic, followed by a throne to sit upon, "Only the Saibamen however; you're right, to you, these are people, not animals. The saiba-beasts however, are no different than the cows and chickens of Earth, they'd be the animals of Saiba-kind, and will require a separate negotiation." She'd conclude, ascending the platform and taking a seat upon her throne as her soldiers took up defensive positions around her.

With a thought, Zuqetta would begin to use her magic to materialize drones of her personal design that would quickly spread throughout the outpost. The drones would take to each and every building, forming barriers around them individually, while an even greater assortment of drones took to encompassing the entirety of the outpost and forming a shield much like the one that had contained the battle Zuqetta had enjoyed with Lottus. Finally, she would materialize a scouter as a final drone of a smaller design shot high into the sky to gaze down upon Ban and Dark; the scouter she now wore was directly linked to the spy drone, allowing her to see the fight in it's entirety.

"Save your people Ban, I won't stop you. By defeating Dark, you'll claim your prize; if you want to damage my business however, you'll have to go through me next." She'd warn, refusing to allow the Mercenary Outpost to come to further harm, "Oh, and Dark?" She'd call out as she adopted a mischievous smirk, "Hmm, defeat Ban, and I'll let you have any one thing that you desire~" She'd proclaim as rested her elbow upon the arm of her throne and leaned her cheek to rest upon her fist; narrowing her eyes happily upon the feline, "And of course, have fun with it! Show Ban our true might whilst you take your trip down memory lane!"

With that, Zuqetta would remain on standby while her forces and drones took defensive positions to keep collateral damage to a minimum. Zuqetta would give an order to one of her guards to begin rounding up and and all humanoid Saiba-men in the Outpost for Ban to freely take should he be victorious. All that was left for Zuqetta to do now, was watch, and enjoy the show.

He assumed Zuqetta was a decent person, but nah she was an asshole. But, she did seem to listen to some of what he was saying. Zuqetta would allow him to take the saiba-men but not the Saiba-beasts. Of course, that was if he beat Dark in a one-on-one battle. “Well, I can say I am sure you’ll keep your word. But I don’t get a choice in that regard.” She could just attack him at the same time but then again if she wanted to attack him why not do it now? She did seem to be trying to just watch for the time being as she created a giant throne to sit upon. She really was acting quite cocky in this situation. Once again though, he couldn’t do much about it. He just had to face off and defeat Dark. He would turn his head to look at Dark. Dark seemed to be fine with Zuqetta and Ban’s position. He really just wanted to fight. One on One, Two on one it didn’t really matter. Guess that was good for him, if he was dealing with any other combination of two people, then he would of probably been stuck in the dirt.

Now, since he was in this one-on-one he had to make sure he didn’t get himself stuck into the ground. Dark was going to at least wait for him to start the fight. Saiba-Ban began focusing on his ki. He was going to start off with a strong attack. He had already used some energy but he desired to push the pressure on Dark right away. “Ok one on one then. Let's see what you got!” Saiba-Ban gritted his teeth. He may have been scared of fighting but he had something to fight for. He was fighting for something bigger than himself. To be a King! That meant he had to put his life on the line. It was put up or shut up town now! His head would open up as a burst of acid shot out right at Dark.

Ban knew the position he was in. As well as Dark knew his own. He was going to have a field day with this. Those ears twitch and tail sway as he watches Ban size him up before preparing. No doubt the little guy had to be on edge a bit, he had to be. After agreeing verbally, Dark lunged forth with a striking speed. Glowing eyes pierced on his way forth. The normally quick feline would opt out of nimbly evading the shot stream of acid and prefer a more... direct answer with the smaller opponent.

"Up high!"
With his face full of acid, the cat only need to squint to see past and sense his target. Lightning bounding from his arms in a sudden glowing outline of ki surrounding them. Once hovering over him, the cat would clasp both hands in a hammer fist down on the exposed bulbous head of the saibaman. Aiming to slam force and electrified energy into him and knock him straight to the ground. He wondered how well the educated one would respond to something so up close.
