Darkness.
But not metaphorically or metaphysically, no quite rather the man had sat in the dark for a while now. Perhaps all those days that he had spent guarding and looking after Hatchi had slowly burned him in the past week, while perhaps the time off world could have been a distraction or maybe even seen as some kind of vacation a part of him actually had done more than just that. First came the enlightenment on Namek and then his strange encounters on Earth such as the one with Kamae, it was a lot more tiring than he could process in words of course.
However he never stopped training, no matter how tired he was. Even when his body would not move, his eyes closed and suddenly it was as if he was teleported into another world. It was still very similar to what was around him; the sky, trees and the like were all there but everyone else but him disappeared. That brief moment always spoke to him, almost as if it reminded him of the endless years he spent around the cosmos with nothing but himself, alone and yet somehow he managed to survive with a sane mind if one could say that. But what would happen shortly after was that a figure appeared in this dream world, it changed at times but every time it would be someone that he had fought.
No matter how much Nasu would try talking to them or making them react at least with an expression or anything, it never worked; they either ignored him or simply could not listen, but what they did was usually fall back into their fighting stance. This always gave him the cue that it was about to be a sparring time, and thus they would go at it; fists, kicks and whatever, even ki moves were on the play! It was mind training of sorts for whenever he did that, he woke up even more tired than before, even if his body was just fine.
He could not just stay locked away somewhere for the rest of his days, of course. Today he had decided to finally go and check things out, given his mind did not exactly pick up on anything weird during his meditation time, he figured it was all well and at ease but to be fair he wished to make sure that things were fine himself. Even though he doubted there was much need, honestly. Things looked like they were going just fine and proceeded well, he did not hear much of a word from the Chancellor lately so he expected things were just great on all fronts.
Otherwise he had already made sure he would be completely available for communication so he could hopefully try to stay up to date with anything if things were to suddenly take a weird turn, for now he could just be at ease. Even if this period of ease was strange and long.
Anyhow the man retreated outside the spaceship for now and decided to go ahead and take a breath, after having inhaled the air of these lands which were more akin to a wasteland’s, of course, given the lengthy cold war had quite the effect on the land as well. Then there was destron and all that, even if the effect was not quite this strong outside here obviously. He did believe this land had been tainted, who knew if it could ever be fixed at this point. For now instead he would at least focus on the problems he could solve; one of the reasons he even got out of his spaceship was that he wanted to use some time to actually train his body. He needed to gain some traction over his schedule given he had mostly developed his mind and reflexes for now, therefore he headed for a nearby mountain of rocks. It was tall enough to be quite intimidating for those who stood at its feet, he eyed it up and just thought that it was definitely perfect for what he had in mind.
So first things first, he settled at the feet of the mountain and then with a short blast he made sure to make enough harm to crack it so the rocks began to falter and crumble, right on top of him. Above him rushed the stones that were closing in on Nasu, before the man fell down into a fighting stance. His knees bent, his arm stretched while his palm lowered, his fingers shrieked into a beast-like grip and so did his other fist, half-closed much like a dragon’s fangs. And then once the rocks were nearly too close to avoid he began to deflect them away with his fists and kicks, each and every strike meant to make sure that he would not be even barely touched.
He continued for some time, until finally the mountain was nearly out of rocks that it could lend him by now. Not to mention that he was kind of bored from just shooting rocks away, so he decided to take a moment and sat onto a nearby rock that had fallen during his training and was now stuck into the ground, he looked around shortly before his gaze fell back into his hand, lost in his thoughts trying to figure out how he could make himself a sword capable enough to carry his strength.
