Kamae's eyes narrowed as Erebos spoke but he couldn't hear the words. He didn't need to, they would be garbage to him anyways. He watched as his foe got ready and made a copy of himself. But that was all it was... a copy. Nothing more than the boy simply doing exactly as Kamae already knew, as in his mind to copy his glorious form was the same as admitting he was copying him for some twisted reason. The demon pulled his spear back to his hand as he got ready. His blade met his copies, the two of them exchanging blows but the demon's blind gaze was not ignorant of the flank.
His shadow sprouted an arm, and the demon snarled his frustrations as he thrust his hand forward to block the incoming attack with one of his own. The blasts fussing together before simply disappearing into nothingness. The twin attacks however, while in unison did not strike completely true. Kamae's body suddenly shifting as if being pulled into a drain. His body twisting and turning but unfortunately one of the blade cut deep into his flesh before he fully disappeared.
A moment later, Kamae re-emerged from his teleportation behind Erebos. The demon's side bleeding as a large slash was present and he was leaning forward while clutching his bleeding side.
"Hmph... Copying me physically now and my moves... My oh my Erebos I thought you couldn't get any lower."
Kamae stated before straightening up once more and bringing his bloody hand in front of him to gaze at it. That was a close call... but Kamae had been ready. He was exhausted but he had known the demon had some sort of trick up his sleeve. Now the ball was in his court once more. Yet the strike never came. Kamae simply stood silently from there, watching Erebos with an amused grin. Yes, he supposed once he got his breath back, he was going to finish this fight.
