Lottus listened intently, and his attention became focused entirely on the discussion of an Arcosian Emperor as a potential enemy.
"NOW you have my interest!" Lottus says, his eyes glinting with a greedy desire. "An Arcosian Emperor could be involved? My, wont that be ironic. Arcose attacked Sadala in recent time - they were repelled, but it still stands. Perhaps Arcose wants to give it a second go?"
He wasn't asking for Fukushu's input, merely thinking out loud. And quite gleefully at the prospect of a renewed war with the Arcosian Empire. But, then a thought occurred - something he had already considered. War with Arcose was not likely - not with Empress Ise on the Triumvirate. As far as Vocado had suggested, she was on very good terms with Vocado and Kabe.
But that didn't mean this Brumal couldn't get involved in the attack on Earth. After all, Lottus would be acting as a free agent - a mercenary, ironically. But Fukushu's plan to head to Earth immediately after destroying Hatchi City was... absolutely pleasing to hear.
"From one battle to another. You did say you'd keep me entertained." Lottus grins with excitement. Killing an Arcosian Emperor, even if he had to have Fukushu's aid to do so, would be an achievement that only he, and supposedly King Taori, could have claim to. Arcosians are notoriously difficult to kill, and almost impossible to overpower in a one on one combat scenario.
Lottus largely ignored Fukushu's meticulous planning - it wasn't his style. No, he was the hammer that schemers used to pound down on their targets, he was a soldier bred for battle - not a planner.
