Yatapi’s expression soured quite a lot at the mention of someone else wanting to gather and use Destron for themselves. He need not speak a single word to convey just how much he held immediate contempt for such a person. Yatapi simply chose to address the other factors Lottus presented. “A double threat, a form of pincer movement. Yes, that should be advantageous. Your more forceful methods should draw more attention than my own to begin with, and either way we raise chances of some successes, some tangible difference made... I will cleanse the crags near Hatchi and make sure nobody is squirrelled away in there plotting and scheming.” Yatapi held a hand to his chin, as if to show he was silently calculating all manner of outcomes.
“Sabotage you say?” Yatapi smirks, it has become something of a specialty for him as of late, it was quite exhilarating to ruin many of Satsuma’s efforts in such a way. “For the right purpose, I think I shall indulge in such a thing.”
Yatapi nodded. For him, there was no way forward unless Destron was effectively neutralized, its threat minimzed and the knowledge of its creation methods erased. The ever present risk of it being used on another planet was reason enough, it was a bit of a shock nobody had bothered to try yet. “It is not a matter of can or could, It is a matter of will and would.”
