Korado had traveled to the Ruined Metropolis on a mission for the tuffles. He had heard rumors of some tuffles that were not happy with how the war ended and being loyal to the idea of the now-deceased Yangcong and his plan to destroy the saiyans had made a base in the Metropolis. They were setting up their plans to attack the saiyans to try to make the war start agian. Now, Korado was not a fan of this. He understood that not everyone was gonna like peace but he was also not gonna let anyone start a war agian. From what he understood these rebels were stronger than what most of the tuffles could handle. So he had decided to check it out with Sickle. Sickle was hiding in his bag slimy eyes peering out to see the city ahead of them. "Don't worry we will find them Sickle." Korado looked at the city ahead of him. He would check his scouter to pick up any power. Korado didn't get to pick up any powers. They must have been hiding pretty well. Korado began to stride into the city his arm blaster on his right arm slowly drifting across the building. Just in case he saw someone who wanted to attack him he wanted to be ready to blast them down.

It was not long since the Renegade was last hired by the Saiyan Royal Forces to do their dirty work on Plant. If it was Maxsuz from a few weeks ago, he would not have bat and eyelid. However, the current mercenary was much more critical and reflective, and he wondered if hunting down some Tuffle rebels left from the war off the grid and getting rid of them was something he should be doing. Still, the money was too good to pass up. Getting "rid" of them also could mean many things, not exactly killing them. Perhaps he could deliver them to the authorities and let them decide their fates. That was something he would have to decide when the time comes.
The briefing he had received stated the rebels were hidden somewhere in the Abandoned City in the Saiba Wastelands. Coincidentally, the Argin had visited the depths of that place only a few months ago, so he was very familiar with the local. Not only that, but his Dakronian Vision would allow him to easily detect any and all significant life forces in miles. All signs pointed to that job being an easy ordeal for the Himônus, who arrived in a only a few minutes and landed swiftly at the top of a skyscraper. He had lowered his árula density enough so that other could not detect his presence without effort, and looked down upon the Destron clouds with his arms crossed, trying to find any árula signature below. He ended up feeling someone relatively powerful nearby. Not enough to intimidate the bounty hunter in the slightest, but still it was too high to ignore, and so the Renegade decided to investigate by jumping from wall to wall of each building, closing in on the presence.
The Argin approached the signature from behind a observed for a while. It was a Tuffle, but he was alone. Was he part of the rebels or was he doing something else in that hellscape of a city. Considering Maxsuz was comfortably above their level of power, and Tuffles were not known as strong fighter, he decided to reveal himself. He chose not to be so hostile this time.
"Looking for something, my friend? Depending on what it is, I could help."
Korado scouter beeped to life. Someone was near by. Korado glanced upwards to see the man who had appeared, he was from a species that he had never seen before. The man seemed friendly enough and wanted to know what he was looking for. And perhaps he could even help in his current situation. Korado gave him a nod. "I am looking for something but cannot know yet if we are friend or foe. I am looking for some rebels who have set up shop in these ruins. They had some big plans that I am not really happy in letting go down. So is that who you are looking for? You with them or you also just looking to take them down." He would not mind the extra help in taking these guys down (Even if by himself he should be able to do it). Indeed his problem right now was finding them and with two pairs of eye the chance of them being found was much higher then if Korado kept searching on his own. Plus with two of them these rebels would not get any fancy idea of trying to regroup and flee the area. They be more then aware at least one of them would be able to see them trying to pull up such a crafty maneuver.

The stranger turned around to spot Maxsuz greeting him. It was a regular looking Tuffle, through and through. Although, his power was way beyond what the mercenary expects from a member of that species. That whole thing was suspicious, given the situation, and so the Argin pretended to remain friendly, while actually analyzing every bit of body language he could see and every word he could hear. That man claimed to be searching for the rebel Tuffles as well, and explained he was not fond of what they had in mind. Based on what the Argin noticed, the stranger did not seem to be lying, and even questioned him if he was with the rebels or looking for them too.
"Very cunning of you. I am after the rebels, like you said, though not for personal reasons. I was hired to deal with them however I choose to."
The Himônus sized the man in front of him up and continued.
"You seem like you can handle yourself without the need of gadgets. I would be willing to make a partnership to find and dismantle the rebel group in this ruined city. What do you say? You can call me Renegade, a bounty hunter from Hera. What is your name, Tuffle?"
Seems they were on the same boat. Maxsuz was looking for the rebels. He was hired to hunt them down and deal with them however he decided to deal with them. Korado glanced. "They follow the beliefs of a dead mad man. They sealed there fates when they followed those footsteps." Normally he might of asked for some compassion but these me believed in the words of the deceased Yangcong. He was not going to go easy on them. If there was anyone he hated in all the world it was Yangcong for what he had done to his half Sister. No, He was not going to show any mercy nor ask anyone else to show mercy.
"I can handle myself yes but they are many strong foes. Having my Gadgets can help me even the odds agiasnt very powerful foes. Though most of the time i've find that more a half measure. But in the end I am more of a scientist then a fighter. So I might as well make what use of the tools I got." Korado checked his scouter glancing at the buildings as Maxsuz gave his name and asked for his. "Renegade huh? I am assuming that a code name. Regardless, I am Korado. I work with the tuffles right now. So I assume you got hired by them as well. Or was it Saiyans?" Korado began to pace around heading around. "I am picking up feint reading this way." He point westward into the heart of the city. "Shall we check that out first?"

Maxsuz continued to carefully analyzed the Tuffle's body language as he spoke. It appeared as if he garnered a deep hatred for the messiah of those rebels: Yangcong. The mercenary had heard that name before. Perhaps from Saiba-Ban? No, that was not it. Regardless, he was aware that man was a Tuffle terrorist who was killed not long ago. The Argin was not about to let his guard down just yet, but that was another sign which pointed to the fact he shouldn't have to worry about that stranger betraying him. It seemed his unexpected ally was even more willing to end these rebels for good. The himônus found all of that curious.
"Oh, so you don't have any problems destroying members of your kind? Even I wasn't planning on killing them."
The Plant native continued, stating this particular group of rebels had strong fighters, and that although he could protect himself, he was more of a scientist than a warrior. It was not as if that last data would surprise anyone, him being a Tuffle, but for him to say the targets are powerful means something. The Argin was not concerned, however. Even if the opponents were as strong as the man speaking to him, with his Hyera form, Maxsuz should be able to wipe them all out by himself. The stranger finally gave his name, Korado, and clarified he was working for the Tuffle government. He then tried getting the Himônus to reveal who hired him, but he chuckled instead.
"Sorry, mate. I take my job very seriously. I don't go around doxing my employers. You understand, right?"
Korado suddenly warned of árula readings nearby using his scouter. Maxsuz stared at the same direction with his dakronian vision and identified something to the West as well, though his vision wasn't clear.
"The Destron clouds around here affect my vision greatly, but yes, I can see it too. Let's go."
"I can't say that I take pleasure from it. But if there goal is to kill me, destroy the peace we have founded and take over a planet of corpses? I'd not want to kill them but if my only choice is to kill them, then I got to suck it up and do it. But you are correct that we should hope not to kill them. You can't question a corpse on motive or how they got the resources to pull off this." Korado didn't feel too bad being honest with the man. He would not hold back agiasnt those who actively were working to tear down this peace that so many people died for. Nah, Korado would not put up with that.
The man would not give up who he was working for as Korado walked. "Well they are only two people you could be working for. And I am fine with both those groups of people. So I am not worried. And no I take no offense. It is right of you to not just give up that information because I asked. That would be rather foolish." Korado kept walking as Renegade called he could not see that well. "Right I'll stay in the front and guide then. I can see thanks to my scouter and some other tech I have." Korado began to move through each area eventually arriving at the center. His scouter beeped to life. "We got company coming soon." He didn't know exactly where but they were getting ready to ambush them. "I don't see anyone. You see or sense anyone yourself? Or we just gonna walk in here pretty much blind?"

Korado continued explaining his reasoning behind his actions. Maxsuz was pleasantly surprised by how much to the point and cold the Tuffle's approach was to dealing with his own kin. It was a far cry from most people the Argin he had encountered. He also understood the justification for the bounty hunter not talking about his Saiyan employers.
"Huh, I like your style. We should be able to complete this job in no time, with that attitude."
Regarding the Destron clouds, Korado told he could be their guide through the city, due to his advanced scouter. The Himônus nodded, put on his Destron Mask and began following him past the ruins. Finally, nearing downtown, the Tuffle's scouter beeped. Maxsuz could tell the two were slowly being surrounded by humanoids hidden in the buildings. He was not worried when his ally warned him of it, though. The hostiles were close enough that the Argin could clearly see all of them and even their positions behind the walls.
"Oh, I can see them very clearly, my friend. We are dealing with 14 men and a woman. Their árula density is nothing to fear, as far as I can sense. I don't we say hello?" - he intensified his voice for anyone close to the duo to hear. - "Come out, boys. We know you are there. No need to be so shy."
The mercenary smiled in excitement to see what would happen next, crossing his arms. He did not really know what Korado thought of that approach, but he did not really care enough to ask. As far as he knew, the quicker they got to the inevitable fighting, the quicker they would be done with that mission.
"Hopefully you are correct and we will get this done quickly." Korado checked his scouter agian as he walked. This guys were being really picky to find. But when they did find them it seemed like they could not really pick up exactly where they were. At least that what he assumed but Maxsuz seemed to be able to see them and counted 14 men and 1 woman. "I thought you could not see. Well it does not matter I am glad we have some idea what we are facing. Wish we also knew what they could do but guess we will find that out." Maxsuz called them out to appear and Korado scouter beeped that a few of them were coming. But he was ready.
From the Destron Mist Two of the Tuffle rebels leaped out equipped with high tech armor to increase their battle level. Korado flipped back avoiding the the strikes. A third leaped up behind him his hand pulled back to smash Korado into the ground. But from his bag burst out of Sickle. Sickle yanked his slimy body back like a fist and smashed it right into the jaw of the Tuffle to knock him on his back. Sickle then sprung into the air forcing the tuffle to roll away to avoid being crushed. The two tuffles that Korado dodged turned to face him forming what seemed to be like Vibro blades from their armor. "Well you guys got some fancy gear jeez!" Korado barely dodged a swipe of one of their blades as the other came at his chest but his Nano machines sprung to life blocking the blow. Korado was getting ready to fire off his counter attack.

Korado was surprised by Maxsuz' visual capabilities, as he had thought wrongly he could not see well within the Ruined Metropolis. The Himônus chuckled, before clarifying it.
"You misunderstand, friend. I could not detect Ki easily before due to the distance and the Destron clouds blurring my vision. This close to the targets, I can see clearly as anywhere else."
After calling out the rebels around them, it was not long before three high-tech armor wearing Tuffles jumped out of the ruins and attacked Korado. The Argin's ally summoned a slimy creature that helped him fight back the terrorists. However, the bounty hunter had no time to continue watching his companion fight, as four other rebels appeared from the rubble with arm blasters and began firing at him from different direction. The swordsman put his arms down, closed his eyes, and waited until the final fraction of a second to react. Upon reopening his eyes, Maxsuz drew his blade at relativistic speeds and casually deflected all bolts of energy coming at him. The Renegade sheathed his alkálipe immediately after, and waited for the Tuffles to realize what had happened. The terrorists did not even understand what had happened, thinking they must have all missed, and so one of them screamed to their allies.
"One more time. Fire!"
Another barrage of plasma was fired at the Himônus. This time, he took a quick look at where all his opponents were placed in the battlefield, drew his sword and deflected the shots again, however sending them straight back towards the arm blasters. The weapons were swiftly destroyed by their own blasts, without dealing significant damage to their wielders. Full of himself, the mercenary sheathed his blade once more, demonstrating he had no interest in using it against such enemies.
"Oh, come on, kids. We don't have to be barbaric about it. If you want to face me, then it is much more honorable to fight with just your fists than to use guns."
Korado glanced and nodded at Maxsuz as he explained that why he could not see what was going on but he had the ability to sense Ki. “I see good.” He was glad that Maxsuz could sense what was going on so they could not just snipe him and Korado would have to be the only one fighting.
But he could not focus on that right now he was busy avoiding the attack of the tuffle’s. He would duck the swipes of the two tuffles warriors. He would flip back as his Nanobots flared over his body. He planted his feet as two tuffles rushed in with their blades. He would duck under one swipe and smash one of the tuffles in the chest. The man staggered as the other tuffle swung his blade down on Korado’s shoulder. Korado gritted his teeth. Even with the armor that did sting. But he spun with his fist slamming it right into the jaw of the man knocking the tuffle out. “You guys got good tech and I hate to admit that. But I also hate to admit that sometimes power is what matters.” The second tuffle looked up before Korado boot slammed into the man’s jaw and knocked him out.
Meanwhile Sickle avoided the strikes of the tuffle he was up against. The tuffle struggled to land a blow at all as Sickle waited for a chance to strike. When it came open Sickle formed a scythe like limb and swung it out. It would cut off the arm of the tuffle as he roared in agony. Korado glanced over. That was a bit brutal for his pet. The slime ball seemed to expand it bottom half of the body turning into spikes as he slammed down and crushed the tuffle. “Keep it easy Sickle. No need to be that brutal.” Maybe it was the Arcosian blood rubbing off on him? Hopefully, it was just a case of him being angry so Sickle felt the same. He needed to do better to control both his own emotions and Sickle’s. These guys did deserve to die but there should still be some tact in doing this.

With their weapons destroyed, the four Tuffles surrounding Maxsuz found themselves having to face him on melee combat. The intimidation could seen in their eyes, and the Himônus noticed it immediately.
"Oh, you don't trust my word? Tell you what. I'll even put down my sword as a demonstration of good will." - he did just as he said, dropping his sheathed alkálipe and opening his arms. - "Come at me however you like. Even all at once. It shall be fun."
The rebels jumped out of their cover and surrounded the bounty hunter standing still. He kept up with their movements with his improved vision and maintained the arrogant smirk on his face. However, the terrorist soon activated energy blades from their armors and rushed him all at the same time. His eyes widened with the lack of honor or pride in their tactics.
"As you wish!"
The swordsman lifted his sheath using his foot and drew his blade mid-air. The Argin began deflecting and redirecting the strikes coming at him. Those energy blades could be dangerous if they touched him, but the Tuffles using them were no adept or fast enough to be threat to him when it came to sword fighting. The Himônus used his movements to create openings in the opponents' defense, which he would exploit with knee strikes, kicks and pommel bashes, until they were incapacitated. Maxsuz took a deep breath while sheathing his sword again, but when he looked over to the other battle going on, he watched as that blob aiding Korado slashed the arm off of a rebel. He was actually surprised with the amount of brutality being displayed.
"Wow. He wasn't joking when he said he was willing to kill them."
That thought process caused the Argin to et distracted, allowing some remaining terrorist to throw Destron grenades down on the battlefield, filling it with the toxic purple smoke.
Korado turned to where Maxsuz was who had been facing off with the tuffles. Maxsuz movement with his blade was impressive and he was able to cut down the tuffles. Korado stepped forward glancing towards where the other tuffles was. They threw out Destron Gas towards the two of them. Korado pulled Nanobots from his body and forming it above his face. He would cover his entire body in his Nanobots and stepped forward. "I will be fine." The Destron gas slammed down on the battlefield as the Tuffles watched carefully. Korado would walk through the gas his nanobots slowly falling off his body only to be replaced by a few more. "I have done my own research on Destron Gas. I can't say that I want it to touch me. But my Nanobots are just fine to take them. Though I will have to make a few more thanks to you guys." Korado frowned. He would pull his right arm back firing a powerful ki blast towards the tuffles and forcing them to scatter and avoid the blast of energy.
"Damn." Korado glanced around but the tuffles were hiding. They were going to get ready to throw more Destron most likey. "Alright. Avoid the gas. There gonna aim some of them at you. I don't got infinite of these Nanobots but I got enough. Make sure to find them and take them out. I'll make sure you don't gotta take a drop of this gas." He would wave his arm as nanobots began to cover his body. Sickle would bounce forward leaping onto one of the buildings. He was looking around to find the tuffles but no such luck.

Thankfully the Himônus' Tuffle ally was prepared for the area they were in. His nanomachines were quick to create a protective layer around his entire body. Maxsuz was not as resourceful, though. He only had a Destron Mask to filtrate the gas while breathing, but the rest of him was utterly exposed. He was much more resistant to that substance than the locals, though. So long as he didn't breath it, he could be in its presence for longer than most. Korado attacked while having his vision affected, causing the rebels to scatter instead of being defeated. The Tuffle warrior told the Renegade to search for them in the ruins around before they could attack once more, but no matter how much the bounty hunter would squint his eyes and focus, he could barely see anything.
"It's no use. The Destron is too thick right now. I can't see anything further than a couple meters!"
That kind of cowardly tactics annoyed the swordsman to no end. His enemies had no care for honor or even their own allies. Maxsuz looked around him and saw the rebels he had previously knocked out choking on the gas their own companions released. That sight, for some reason unknown to him, trigger a rage not normally felt by the mercenary.
"Those bastards... I'm going to kill them. Every single one of them."
The Argin shouted to the skies and powered up to his maximum capabilities. The black aura firing up from him was enough to disperse most of the gas on the immediate area, saving the lives of the Tuffles around him. Maxsuz drew his blade and leaped into the purple clouds.
"Hide all you want. It will only make me kill you slower, you scum!"Word Counter: 293Korado
Korado nodded as Maxsuz noted he could not see where they had gone. "Damn alright well get away from the gas. I imagine it is not good for you." He didn't know how it affect Maxsuz species. Maybe he'd have to see the results. But for now, they had to deal with the tuffles. Which was going to be hard if they had no idea where they were hiding. Korado glanced around but his scouter ripped him away from that. Maxsuz's power was rising as he seemed enraged with the gas affecting the tuffles caught in the gas. He would blast the gas away before leaping into the clouds to hunt the tuffles. "While the anger is justified make sure to use your head." Korado went after Maxsuz to make sure he didn't get himself killed.
Sickle meanwhile would slink into a building to get a new perch. As he moved through one of the buildings he came across one of the tuffle who seemed to have a rail gun-like weapon ready to fire. He was just waiting for Maxsuz and Korado to be in the right spot. Sickle would stretch his body and sling forward smashing into the tuffle and sending him tumbling. The tuffle got up growling in pain but was met by Sickle wrapping his body around the man and trapping him in place. "Let me go." The tuffle cried out but Sickle would keep him held tight. Korado meanwhile would pick up the commotion on his scouter. "Sickle took down one hiding. I think that means the woman and two more tuffles." Korado reported to Maxsuz.
