Mint had heard the reports from Yoku. Some sort of fish woman named Parsella from the Saiyan Kingdom. She had some motive coming to the Arcose and trying to destroy it. That was why Mint was able to understand about the situation as of the current moment. But he had some other thing to worry about. Yoku had said the beast Terium had wanted to meet him. Mint was not sure why the beast would want to meet him. Last time he nearly killed the creature in a hunt between the two of them. Mint had somewhat distaste but the creature had also helped Yoku. He did respect the creature didn't try to take advantage of a situation to harm Mint's business. He could of stopped a great disaster inflicting Arcose. So he decided to humor the offer.
He arrived on the Oasis where Terium had wanted to meet him. Mint would give his scouter a glance to check for any other power level's. You never knew if Terium had decided to lure him out to ambush him. But he picked up no other power's. "I am waiting for you Terium. You said you wanted to meet me yes?" Mint called into the snow waiting for the creature to arrive. He was sure the beast was more then aware he was already here and just waiting to show himself off and where he wanted to meet Mint in such a far off location.
Terium waited for Mint, two nights before he slept was quite an interesting night, getting to meet Yangcong's son. Oh the possibilities... especially if he can get him and Mint to work together with him. At any rate here he is once again, fully rested, and having had his morning food, he was ready for the meeting. As Mint came into the Oasis, Terium used phasing to get into the lake, and simply rose out of the water revealing himself to Mint when the man arrived.
"Indeed Hunter Mint," Terium stated with a neutral expression on his draconic face. "I see you got my message. I am certain you likely wonder about the secrecy," he stated, knowing that Mint would likely be wondering about that. Terium wasn't really hiding his power level right now, so Mint would be able to feel how weak Terium is in comparison to him. "Since we last met, I've been continuing the work of my creator. I even gained a benefactor to assist in it." The implication that he'd been so busy with said work to train was rather obvious.
Speaking of his benefactor, he's going to need to make sure Yakone knows of this situation, however it plays out. If Mint agrees to his deal, then he's going to need to get the new Yangcong to join in on this, as his abilities will likely also be something Mint will want to work with. And besides, with how Parsella was, and the new tensions between Arcose and Sadala...well, it seems that the stars are aligning well for a potential alliance. "As to what the work is, well, when you see it, you'll understand well why the secrecy is necessary." Afterall, its better that the main facility stay secret. Terium is very much certain that Mint will understand the reason, for the army may indeed end up working for him in the future.

"Behold the Star of Arcose, my grand Vessel that shall take me beyond Arcose and into the depths of space. With the Star, I can now simply acquire the DNA I require myself!" "I wonder where my curiosity shall take me next? What specimens shall I find in the vastness of space?"-Terium
"Hunter Mint huh? Guess you got some respect from me nearly killing you? Mint is just fine." He listened as Terium explained he had been doing the work of his creator. So he was not just some normal creature. He was some sort of Bio Android? that was something new he learned. If he was doing the work that meant he was trying to do even more work. He narrowed his good eye. He was sure that was going to be a problem. He didn't want to have to deal with a swarm of bio androids like Terium. He may have been able to crush Terium but that was just one Terium. He doubted the creature would be as strong as he was it was still going to be a problem.
"I'm assuming your work relates to yourself." Mint would ask before turning to nod to follow Terium to what he wanted to show him. He rather has Terium on his side than not on his side if he was producing bio androids. But he had this benefactor which would also be trouble. He would have to make sure to get rid of that eyesore if he decided that was going to allow Terium to keep doing his work. If they could not come to an understanding at least he was close to some of his creatures and Terium himself. Maybe he'd have enough time to tear the lizard apart before he could flee.
Terium raised a tentacle for a short moment in a 'come hither' motion', not really knowing Mint's thoughts. He does hope he can get Mint and Yangcong to work together in the future what with the threat the Saiyans seem to be presenting. "If you would follow me..." he asked Mint as he began moving, using ground phasing but not entirely going underground so as to stay visible. "Due to recent events, I feel that you and my benefactor may have a common enemy in the Saiyans." he started, as they moved through the Oasis, before then stopping at a large hill. He used his phasing to dip his tendril through the hill, into a chamber, then brought it out, then backed away. "Welcome, for what you are about to see, is something I would have more made of, in your service, if you agree to our coming deal." With that said, a portion of the hill seemed to sink inward before opening up, revealing a small hangar bay with a door leading to a grav-lift at the end of the chamber.
"Take the grav-lift down and I shall meet you down below," Terium tells him before using his phasing to sink underground. He kept going down until he reached the halls made with his stature in mind. Now he just waited for Mint to come down. He could've just led him to one of the larger entrances he himself had made, but the single person entrance Wintera had made was the closer one. He looked over to the grav lift chamber that led down to his location from where Mint would likely come down, and moved so Mint could see the 3rd battalion of troops that stood in formation. If Mint came down the Grav Lift then Terium would speak up saying "Behold, a small portion of the Bio-Android army. I wonder, if this is to your satisfaction Mint?" he asked, knowing that the biodroids could indeed be sensed once inside, this particular group being stronger then the average arcosion warrior.
Mint listened as Terium explained that his benefactor and himself would have a common foe in the saiyans. Interesting, there could be a list of people like that but he settled on the tuffles. The tuffles had been defeated by the saiyans from what he understood. Some tuffles may have wanted to get an army going to fight back. If the tuffle had failed why not a bio android army. Then they could also get their knowledge to Terium. It seemed to be a wise partnership but they had to be a tuffle with vast resources. He glanced as Terium explained that what he was going to see was just a taste of what he could offer him, a sample of what his benefactor had helped him cook up. "Well you have me intrigued Terium. Show me what you can muster."
Mint would step onto the Grav lift to head down below arriving at the massive chamber that Terium had made. Before he was a massive amount of soldiers that seemed to have been made by Terium. "Bio androids huh." Mint mused his scouter beeping to life. "These one are stronger than most of the soldiers on Arcose. I see, very impressive. I imagine this does not come cheap. It must take you millions to create just a small portion of these men. But they could serve as elite units of the Arcose Empire. Color me impressed. So tell me what do you want for your services in the empire. I assume it will not come cheap as I said." Mint would cross his arms behind his back and await Terium offer.
Terium inwardly grinned, his prospective client is satisfied with what he sees, good. Now Mint understands why he wasn't able to train for so long, he does need to get to rectifying that problem. "My Benefactor merely provided the DNA samples, I had a hundred bio-androids help me refit the facility, and upgrade it to the stature you see today. The lift you used is actually a remnant from my creator's days." he slithered to a large upscaled computer, made for his size, and began typing using his tendrils. "And you would be right in that this isn't by any means cheap. The remaining resources of the late Doctor Wintera will only last me one more month." as he spoke, he got a document with a plan opened up.
"In order to get more resources, I intend to open up a Bio-tech business, this business will the advertised as a mostly medical-based one dealing with replacement limbs and organs and other various medical needs. The intent of this is to gain more DNA samples as well as to fund the operations of the continued building of the armies," he explained in a calculating tone. "However in order to get this business off the ground, I have need of an endorsement or two," he eyed Mint, "preferably from one high up in the chain." He continued, "Once this endorsement is attained, I will then require permission to have more facilities built in the city, for quick medical response of course." he finished, continuing to watch for Mint's reaction, he was of course implying that with facilities within the city, the army's quick response for the defense of it would be astronomical among other things. He was also making it very clear that the business is a front for what will actually be happening.

Mint glanced as Terium explained his benefactor merely provided Dna samples not really money. He already had a ton of bio androids waiting here in this place. He also explained that this would not come cheap and what he had left would only allow him to produce 1 more month's worth of research. "And how much is that? One month's worth. That what 300?" He said what he assumed to be a bold number but he'd have to see if Terium could produce more than that. He imagined growing an army of bio androids was not something that occurred very quickly. But maybe Terium had it down to a science. The point was what was offered was not bad.
To get more resources though he proposed that he would open a bio Tech Business, that would be advertised as a medical base business. He would get the DNA samples he needed but he need an endorsement to handle his business and get it moving. Hence what Mint was for. Mint would give a steady nod. "Well tell me why do I need you. These Bio androids are strong and your ability to create them is useful but can I not take the data from here. And remove the middle man. And the cost of having to let you grab DNA from the people of arcose that you could be using for any purpose. I don't mind if you grab Dna from prisoners, criminals and those I allow to be taken. But people minding their own business trying to get medical attention." Mint shook his head. "That bound to cause trouble." Mint was not someone who cared that much about that but there was opportunity cost. If you had people's DNA being stolen by Terium he didn't exactly know what the wyrm would do. Plus he was not sure about his benefactor, he wanted to gather more information if that would be a problem.
"Hmm... I had not considered the problems it could cause if DNA was taken from the standard population..." he continued as he pondered the situation, a tendril rubbing his chin in thought, continuing to type as he continued to speak. "Yes, it would indeed be acceptable to use the DNA of Prisoners and criminals." Whether stable or not matters not, though the unstable samples may have interesting results. "Very well, for those only seeking medical attention, no bio-androids shall be made without the individual's consent. The option to donate DNA for the military will be made available once the army is eventually revealed," he stated, at last, taking into consideration the factor of consent from individuals.
If there is one thing that Terium had to thank the old bastard for in matters such as this, it would be the doctor's paranoia and trust in him beyond his death. "400 more soldiers, to be precise." he started in reference to the size of the facility, as he considered the rest of Mint's words. Whether it be fortunate, or unfortunate, if Terium were to die the data would self terminate as per programming by the late Wintera. Likely as protection for his final creation. The implication is that if Terium died, the data here would end up being lost. Terium considered it unfortunate as it only pressed to him that he needs to make more facilities to ensure he leaves a lasting legacy should he die. Pity the old bastard considered him a weapon. "You shall find that me being allowed to live will surpass the usefulness of the data given enough time." This was thanks to the intellect he gained from Wintera, not that Mint needs to know where he got said intellect from.
It was, he supposed, also fortunate as it meant that any enemies he made would be unable to get the data after his demise. "For even if you did manage to gain the data, without me there would be no more improvements, I am, after all, a scientist, and I'm certain you could always use more scientists in R&D." Did he fear death? Well honestly yes, as he is still young and yet to reach the 'greatness' that his creator promised he would become. "Thus far I have improved the Bio-android production efficiency by 30% from what Wintera had to start with." He stated this with a sense of pride in his voice, making it clear that he inherited Wintera's intellect, before he then continued on to suggest on how to get the experimentation done. " The Limb replacement is still has yet to be tested. So the criminals would serve as excellent test subjects. Preferably those on death row." he finished, suggesting the idea of experimenting on the criminals...preferably death row inmates.
"I can set up a meeting between you and my benefactor, is there a time and place you would consider suitable for such a meeting? He has quite the useful ability, so it would be most unfortunate if you deemed him unable to continue his services." The portal-making abilities of the new Yangcong is, after all, quite the game-changer in terms of quickly moving troops around from planet to planet, to lose such an asset would be an incredible loss.
Terium seemed to be fine with working with just taking DNA from prisoners and others. Mint was not so heartless to let random folks be the test subjects. Plus the prisoners on average would be stronger, you didn't get thrown in prison on arcose by being a weakling. Maybe even convince to add a voucher for those in the army could offer their DNA to the project. "That seems a possible option. Of course something I'd have to consider. The point is I will make sure to provide at least an adequate supply of DNA to you. After all, If I make this deal I want as many soldiers as you can feasibly make. That is useful for the both of us."
Anyway, Terium got into more details he could make about 400 more of this creature with his current amount which was not bad at all. He also began to explain why he was useful and he was needed. No one was able to exactly copy the data he had. Mint could also use more scientific minds in his employ and Terium claimed he was quite the genius. The work he had was at least proof enough he was working quite hard. He also claimed he had another project down the line with a limb replacement process. "I see well those are useful things I suppose," Mint asked as if he had been totally convinced. Of course, the problem still remained. Terium talents were well enough, but he didn't trust the lizard to remain loyal. After all, he had some mysterious man who was the benefactor of Terium.
Terium suggested they set up a meeting with this Benefactor. "It is possible. But here's what I gotta say. I don't trust the fact that you could go slinking to work with someone else. I like having control of things. And someone producing a bio android army for someone else is not something I'm not very fond of. That being said I have a need for soldiers." He called back to Brumal suggestion that they would need more men. "I will need to talk with some others. I am not fully in power yet. I'd have to meet this man he will have to join the fold. By the way, I will suggest whoever this man is you put your lot with me. Unless they happen to rule another planet, I will have far more long-term offers for you. Once I am the emperor of Arcose, I can give you as much as you desire for your work."
Terium thinks things through as Mint makes each talking point. And making as many soldiers as he can possibly make? Oh when 'Yangcong' returns with the pure Namekian DNA, he's certain to get the growth process for the bio-androids sped up by at least 50%. Terium had to hold back a grin, things were going well. Why Mint even agreed that limb replacement is useful, and of course, it is, for if one were to lose a limb during battle, why settle for a robot limb, when you get literally make it as if you never lost the limb in the first place? With his limited experience in reading facial expressions, it seems that he's getting an agreement on him becoming one of the scientists among Mint's group. Albeit he's going make sure he won't end up subservient to the other scientists, it wouldn't do for his genius to be limited by his own scientific peers.
Terium's confidence had grown throughout this meeting as Mint spoke of how he didn't like the idea of him 'slinking to work with someone else' as expected, Mint liked having control of things. As expected of a potential future emperor, truly Mint shall make for an interesting employer, and the best part...he's an actually sane person. Terium laments the fact it is quite the low bar, but he's got to make do with what he can get in terms of people to converse with.
While he wasn't entirely certain that Yangcong Junior would agree, the factor of Mint and him having a common enemy would certainly come in handy. Plus the Saiyans would make for an excellent test for his army. Contary to what Mint may think, the fact that he was the one to beat Terium, and thus also curbed his arrogance was something that the Wyrm honestly felt that he owed the Arcosion for, afterall that old arrogance could've gotten him killed had the circumstances been different. "Honestly, it was less me going off to meet him, and more him stumbling across this facility as I recovered from my injuries." He stated implying it happened after their battle. "From what I was able to discern he doesn't really have any current loyalties besides his grudge against the Saiyans," if Terium could, he would shrug, as it is, he merely mimicked a shrug using his tendrils. "I have no idea why he has such a grudge, but it is an angle you could use to get him as an ally." he suggested to Mint, then his expression turned confused as the 'slinking off' part registered.
"Wait...slinking off...slinking off..." The hell was that supposed to mean? "I don't get it." he muttered loud enough for Mint to hear in regards to the slang, though he did understand the gist of what it meant. He then shook his head, it doesn't matter. "If you worry about me backing off from the deal, don't, Arcose is my home afterall." He tells him, making it clear that his loyalty is to the planet of his birth at the end of the day, and he'll follow whoever leads it. "Ah yes, next will be the issue of contact..." He's going to need to figure that issue out with 'Yangcong' as well. At any rate, he decided to wait and hear what Mint had to say on the matter before continuing.

Mint nodded as Terium explained what he knew about his benefactor. He was someone who didn't like the Saiyan and he didn't have any loyalties. So he was a neutral figure who wanted to get rid of the Saiyans. He knew a few people who could be that. Terium suggested that maybe he could get that person to be his ally. "I don't like having that many in the of allies. Subordinates yes. But Allies? People that I cannot have a strong stake in controlling their actions. Especially since I've met many idiots. But that is why having you on my payroll would be useful beyond having your bio androids in my army. Then you will have something to lose if you decide to leave my service if we decide to make a deal."
Terium seemed pretty set on making a deal and he was not going to easily back down. As long as he got what he needed it seemed he worked with whatever Mint placed down. At least that was what he was hoping. Speaking of they had to get an issue of contact. "Alright lay out your contract for me so I can take a look. What else do you want? Then I'll lay out what I want out and then we can come to a middle ground." Of course, he pushes it as much as possible to benefit himself. He didn't fully trust Terium so he rather has a deal that would secure loyalty and have the least chance of blowing up in his face.
The Wyrm gazed upon the screen again, and got a notification. Terium raised an eyebrow as he noted that his benefactor is currently listed as MIA. He decided to let Mint know of the situation once the contract is completed. He merely nodded in response to Mint's speech about allies and subordinates. Terium may not have met any idiots as far as he knows, but he understands the sentiment. He pressed some buttons and got the contract shown on the screen. It listed the following for what would be gained on Terium's end of things:
A steady supply of DNA, whether it be from prisoners or other approved targets to ensure the continued creation of bioandroids or other future products.
The ability to stay mostly independent, and getting the business he intends to make sponsored, said company being one that will create replacement limbs, or other body parts for those who need them, so long as said limbs are paid for, of course. Note that while the DNA of those in need will be used in the creation of the body parts, said DNA will not be kept afterward unless given permission by the owners of said DNA.
While Terium's army will be used in service of Arcose, the soldiers will be given the option to retire from the army after 5 years in service and gain citizenship to pursue their own goals.
Any advertisements will need to be run by Terium and his employer(s).
Terium gets the option to train and the freedom to hunt for the more intelligent of the late Doctor Wintera's creations whose locations are currently unknown.
The ability to take over command of the army if an emergency comes up such as something happening to the leaders that renders them unable to properly take control. (namely should a leader betray Arcose, mind controlled, or goes against the interests of Arcose)
"It appears that my benefactor has gone missing...if he doesn't contact me in a month, then I'll have to declare him dead." Terium states coldly, annoyed and disappointed that it seemed that Yakone was following in his father's footsteps. "Either way, here's my terms. I'm certain you can understand the caution contained. As it is, the last one is for emergencies if the chain of command fails in some way, though as is a given, I wouldn't mind having a battalion to act as guards and such for the facilities and to help with upkeep whilst I'm away on business." Terium explains, citing that its good to have a back up plan if all else fails, plus he likes being able to delegate work so he can do other things, and having to fully control an army when he has other things he'd rather be doing would be rather troublesome, but precautions have to be made.
Mint would glance at the list that Terium would whip off his demands. He was honestly fine with most of them. Expect for one of them, the very last one. He cracked a grin as he looked over the list. "Most of this is fine with me. I am more then fine with giving you some breathing room as long as it not fucking up Arcose. But this last one?" He would point to the one that would let Terium take command of the army. "That...that won't do. See, I like assurance that I don't have an army that can turn and betray me any time. So that little provision will be going away." No debate, no offer of an alternative. "The rest can stay though."
He would glance side eyed to Terium who noted his benefactor seemed to actually been MIA. Seems to be a new concern but he just let out a grunt. "I can provide the funding. You don't need to worry. Then agian you have more of a reason to work with me and accept my terms. If your benefactor is dead no one else will give you such an offer." He would cross his arms over his chest to await what Terium response to his deal would be. Even if he understood Terium reasoning as he explained it, Mint didn't want to pay up for an army that Terium could decide would be his now. No, the army would be loyal to madman or otherwise. He thought a crazy scientist like Terium would understand.
The Wyrm narrowed his eyes slightly at the final term being removed, he figured that term wasn't going to happen...a pity, but then again the army is loyal to him in the end due to how he's treated them, so if nothing else that will be an issue that will fix itself in time. That thought made, he'll still keep the, for now, inert term in mind in case Mint changes his mind in the future, the Arcosion will surely see things his way in time.
"Very well, it was highly unlikely to activate regardless due to the dependence on the entire chain of command." Terium noted, removing the term from the contract. "And yes, you would indeed be correct that you are the only individual I know of who'd be able to get me the funds I require." He honestly wondered where this was going to take him as time went on...maybe he'd actually gain a true ambition and goal beyond 'get more power, ensure continuation of army'. He typed in 'Mint's Terms' into the contract, and placed a number one. As for his benefactor, "My benefactor was last reported to be on Namek, perhaps something of note is going on there..." he pondered before shaking his head. "Your terms?" he asked Mint, waiting for him to list the terms so he may type them into the contract, curious as to what they will be, he'd accept in the end either way, but he's curious to see if there's anything he may need to give debate about, and if not, all the better.

"Yes, but I wish to command those men. I don't want you deciding to betray our contract or leaving and your men causing havoc. Even if I could take care of them all quickly enough. It would still waste my time." Mint glanced at Terium. He seemed to resign himself to the fact that he was going to have to work with him. Mint had the money to help his project out. And if Terium refused he would just as easily wipe the giant creature from the face of the planet. Terium then noted his benefactor location along with desiring to know Mint's terms.
Mint glanced at the list. "I accepted your terms. I don't have much to add. Other then them being loyal to me first is what matters. As long as you work with me that is a problem but if you wish to leave our partnership, while I'll be amendable to that you must let me know. You try to sneak off and betray me or turn that army agiasnt me. It won't end well. I don't need this army to conquer the universe. I need it to keep shit off my grass. You understand what that means yes?" Hopefully Terium understood that Mint would quickly take care of him if decided to go behind his back. "As for your Benefactor? Hmm well he was last on Namek, perhaps I'll take a look around there sometimes to see." He knew Brumal wanted to do something with namek. Maybe this benefactor of Terium had the same ideas. But that was for the future right now it was time to get this contract done.
