”Oh I love pints! I’ll have to take you up on that if you survive. Seeya!”
He wiggled his fingers in goodbye as the girl careened through the air, smashing through her fair share of landmasses before finally her momentum softened up. By his guess, she landed some several islands away— far enough from the battleground that she’d think twice about swinging by the shrine for a while.
Clapping his hands, Erebos dusted them off and turned on a heel. Leaving the Namekian here was no good. He’d just drop him off at a village or something. Snapping his fingers, the Shadowmancer peeled Irumu’s own shadow off the floor, and had it stand upright. Its limbs were all crunched and funny-looking, but he would still work just fine. His finger pointed this way and that like a concert composer, commanding the shadowy thing to pick up Irumu and carry him off. Some village elder or another would probably be scared half to death upon seeing the sight, but at least the guy wouldn’t be half-dead in the middle of nowhere.
With that, all there was left to do was catch up to Ollo. The youngling had probably beaten him to the house by now. Doubly so due to Erebos’ sudden exhaustion. With a sigh, Erebos fell onto his back, where his Dark Nimbus scooped him up.
”Hiding in my shadow this whole time?” Erebos clicked his tongue at Buddy the cloud, which seemed to shrink just a bit at his presence.
”I guess we win. Take us home Buddy.”
With a whizz of speed it did its duty, trotting through the sky toward home.
”Cant wait to tell Fend about this one…”
