The look on his face when he met her gaze was one of a hatred so pure it gave her pause. No one in all her life had ever looked at her like Mel was looking at her right now, raging on about the killing of Tuffles and the sacking of Plant as if Jagaimo had been the only one responsible for starting everything herself rather than simply being a child born and raised on a planet at constant war. And a war it was. What might have been an invasion initially changed when the Saiyan’s had gained a foothold to call their own. The Tuffles hadn’t surrendered or been wiped out as first expected and what should have been over swiftly turned into a running battle that lasted the better part of two decades with neither side able to make much ground on the other. Jagaimo had been a soldier and a scout for as long as she had been able to fight. Something this human couldn’t possibly understand. She had fought for the survival of her species until the stalemate and ceasefire had come into effect. The tensions were still high but there was no mass open conflict for years. But whatever words she used they either didn’t come out right, were not the right words to use or just weren't getting through to the young Human.
When he called her a murderer it became clear they were just going round in circles. He was blaming her for everything and she was trying to justify her actions the only way she could by trying to make him understand she was a soldier. He wasn’t there, he’d never understand. The feline woman was holding him tight in her grip even as he struggled and kicked to move forwards toward the Saiyan woman. Thankfully her grip held and he did little more than flail about somewhat uselessly. Whatever he was saying didn’t make any sense, he wasn’t a Tuffle, he wasn’t them and why would they need him? Compared to what she had seen back home the Tuffles would have no use for him. He didn’t seem that smart, he couldn’t really fight and he wasn’t a Tuffle he was a Human. It was confusing to say the least. What was going on in this guy's head to make him think he had anything to do with Plant and the war that had been going on there?
When Portobello looked at her and pleaded with Jagaimo to leave, it was already too late. The ball was already partly formed and the young Saiyan warrior shook with every step she took towards Mel, the waves of power emanating from the orb starting to seep into her very being. The sound of rushing blood to her ears drowned out the cat woman’s words of warning, and even Mel’s shouts were a dull echo in her head. She saw him attack the woman in an instant but before Jagaimo could react he was already on her, the charged ball in her own fist dissipating into the air as he slammed a ki enhanced blow into her open gut, exploding like a bomb against her. The impact drove her off her feet and across the café, the wall doing little to slow the momentum she had gained from his attack. Blasted out into the street, her senses flared a warning, feeling him powering up and exceeding what she was able to call on right now. But the young fighter didn’t care. He’d attacked her again and called her out on her Powerball threat. She couldn’t let him get away with all his insults against her and she certainly wasn’t going to forgive the cheap shot in the café earlier.
When the Human dived out of the wall after her, Jagaimo rushed at him, ignoring the blood seeping from numerous cuts across her body, her own power flaring as she exploded into a barrage of kicks and punches…light, fast and accurate as she sought out any weaknesses in his defenses…practically snarling at him as she did so, hair whipping round whenever she moved.
