"My head.." Crotona held her head as she pulled herself from the dirt. She had just woken up. Where was she? She glanced around but pain shot through her body. "ouch. What the hell this ain't namek right?" She would lift her shirt slightly to see the giant wound in her chest. She had a not nice looking scar there now. The price to pay for defending Namek? But was this namek now? Destroyed? And how was she even alive? Crotona had to question all of this but maybe it was time to keep moving. But she could not really move. She had pulled half her body up but she was not going to get up from this spot. Hopefully no one comes around to attack because she could hardly image her trying to defend herself.
She also needed someone to come find her. Cause she did need some medical attention. She might even die if no one found her. She could of yelled out but what if someone dangerous heard her. "Ugh..I don't know what to do." Crotona just sighed. Guess she just have to wait here for a bit. Someone would eventually have to come around to this area right? Unless everyone was dead and this was the remains of Namek. She tried to sense out to confirm that thought but she sensed a lot of small power level around. So at least she was not alone on this rock. Question was if those were friendly or not.

The man had long spent most of his day thus far in these wastelands, and they were nothing but a waste of time usually. But they made for some shooting practice. He would usually find one of those green things wandering about. Not that he actively hunted them, he was the prey most of the time and sought after closely by those green monsters. They probably wanted to eat him alive or something. But for now, he was well and alive. And even now, he wandered and yet, he spotted something most curious.
He was not sure if there was some wreckage, but he could sense a faint energy and furthermore, there was a person. They were sitting down or something, and he approached somewhat cautiously. Not that he was worried, he did not feel threatened.
"Who are you?"
He asked, curiously. The stranger did not look of this world, it was maybe the first time since his own awakening that he had seen one of her kind. But it did not take a lot to notice their wounds, but he did not move really, to her aid or anything. Not like he knew a single thing about medicine, but she still had his attention for the moment.
Things for Nilen had been quite out of the ordinary lately. His first venture outside of the desert he called home turned out to be a trip into space to an entirely different planet. There was a small hint of familiarity with the way the wastelands here felt compared to his home. The fox eared Earthling felt homesick already. The small comfort that the wastes here provided to him was enough to draw him out of the city and out into an adventure on his own. Unfortunately for the Earthling, there were creatures lurking here in the Saiba Wastes that were a few steps above anything he'd dealt with back home as far as danger was concerned.
He was in the process of learning this fact first hand while Crotona and Nasu were having their introductions. In fact, if either of them took a moment to listen they'd hear Nilen tussling with three of the little green buggers. The foxy fellow was strong enough that one of them wasn't enough to be a major threat on its own, but three could certainly do some damage with a combined assault. They were wily enough to try, too. One dove onto each of his arms and the third leaped onto his chest for a three way tackle. He flew through the air from their united tackle before crashing into the parched dirt some thirty or so yards away from where the Konatsian and the Saiyan were at.
Nilen focused his spirit as he skidded to a halt in the dirt. A pale blue glow emanated from his body for just a moment, and a second tail formed alongside the first. They had captured his arms, but he had a way to make up for it. His two fluffy, but unexpectedly stout tails now moved like a makeshift pair of arms to begin beating the pests that were trying to restrain his arms. A quick thump here and a thwap there got one arm free, which he used to punch the other arm free. A simultaneous slap to both sides of the Saibaman's head that was on his chest left the thing reeling and stumbling off him.
As he lay there catching his breath while his attackers regrouped, he glanced over at the injured woman and the Saiyan fellow. "Pardon me. Are these cretins involved with either of you?" He wiped a bit of blood off of his chin from a scrape as he sat up.
Crotona could sense someone strong coming her way. "Well. Hopefully they are friendly." Crotona said to herself as she waited to see who the person. And it turned out it was someone she knew being Nasu! Crotona would push herself in pain. This was a friend though she felt a surge of energy come back to her. As for his question, Crotona looked confused, "Green creatures. No I don't know what your talking about. I just landed here from a portal. I was fighting on Namek...then I got..." She looked down at her chest where her scar would be of course hidden her clothes. But speaking on these things made that scar ache with pain. "I didn't expect to see you here Nasu. I remember meeting you on Earth. So what you are doing out here? Heading back home or something?" She knew there was some war on plant, but she didn't know if was still going on or not. But as she wondering what she was going to say next, she could sense another person arrive. Some human man who seemed to also been injured in some way and were asking about the cretains as well. "Guess they are some monsters out there huh. Guess that was something that I was able to sense when I first landed."

So this one had not been attacked by the Saibamen. Undoubtedly he had no reason not to believe her even because there was literally no one except one other signature in the immediate surroundings and no matter what he doubted this stranger would have a problem with the yet to be seen signature.
But surely he came to an understanding this one was a foreigner and left him with a little sense of jealousy for he had not gone, at least to what his memory could grant him, ever past the far edges of Plant. But nevertheless he became really curious once she called him by his name. That was not something he expected and had him somewhat tense up briefly. How did a stranger from outer space know his name? She asserted that the two had already met on another planet and could be quite the confusing information to hear, but he knew that she had to hold some level of information about his past at this point.
"I do not remember meeting you. As far as I remember I have never gone past Plant, except..."
Nasu refrained from speaking too much. He did not think it was important anyways. But as much of the Great Ape soul had rendered him ruthless, and... as pointless as it had been as thus far all he did was fiddling with his thumbs, his brain was still capable of processing that something was amiss.
"I was training. Trying to, at least. These saibamen make very little of a sport for our kind."
Nasu looked onwards to the stranger who reached out to them, too. Nasu felt very awkward amongst all these strangers and foreigners at first, but he did not care much not to show it before he looked up and about. He sighed. Honestly had it just been the new addition maybe he could have just left him here to die but truth be told, he was curious about the previous stranger's past meeting with Nasu.
"Alright. I will lead you to safety, if you both can still walk. I am not carrying anyone. What are your names?"
While the other two spoke to each other and then at him in regards to finding shelter for the injured Konatsian to recover, Nilen glanced back to the saiba creatures that had assaulted him moments ago. It seems like they got the message that he was no prey of theirs and scattered back to wherever they came from. That, or they saw the other two seemingly 'friendly' persons talking with Nilen and decided it best not to risk an even fight. Either way, the vulpine young man got to his feet at last. He dusted himself off. Nilen didn't bother with the few scrapes and bruises he'd gotten in that little scuffle. In the moment he was more concerned with the two people he'd bumped into out here. Now that he had a moment to think, he could feel that their life force was tremendously powerful compared to his own. Even at his full strength he'd likely be even less effective against one of them than even one of those Saiba beasts had been to him.
As he approached, he pulled the cloth wrapping down that had been covering most of his face. "Concern yourself not with my well-being. I am no worse for wear. Those creatures... they are not as stout as their ferocity might lead you to believe."
Once he was close enough to get a good look at Nasu and Crotona, he canted his head to one side. "My name is Nilen. Longer introductions can wait until later. Do you need a hand?" He extended a hand toward Crotona to offer help.
"Thank you for your assistance. I came out here because these wastes reminded me a little bit of my home, but then I was attacked...and here I am." He said this to Nasu after Crotona had either accepted or declined his offer of aid.
A saibaman’s is seen first. Green skin, meager armor (whatever he could scavenge), and a bad attitude. A blade made of light suddejnly bursts from its back. The blade slices upwards. The saibaman splits in two, each half falling in opposite directions. Shari smiles to herself, a self satisfied smile. This particular saibaman had done nothing but be in the right place at the wrong time. However, she had come to think of them as vermin, barely able to give her a workout. Her blue skinned expression changed to that of thoughtfulness as she started walking, brushing her white hair aside, the blade of light vanishing in her hand.
Sharizya had found personal growth on this planet. She had discovered all kinds of things out about herself. About her fighting spirit. About her attitude towards nature. About her love of practical jokes. She had met interesting people and was sure there were many more in the universe. She wondered where her travels might take her next.
She was thinking about this when she tripped over something. Her first reaction was to chide herself, ‘Clumsy Shari'....then she looked down. It was just a rock. She heard talking and looked up to see a Saiyan, a Konatsian, and a fox-thing. “Oh, is this some kind of party?” she said aloud. Without probing at all, Shari didn’t pick up any malice among the three.
Crotona looked at Nasu confused. Did he not remember who she was? They did only meet that one time so guess it made sense. But his statement that he didn't remember leaving the plant at all was concerning. That was not something that should be going on. He should be able to remember he had been to Earth before! Did something happen to him? It didn’t seem like it from a glance. But she was worried to say the least. Crotona knew though her injuries were what she needed to focus on first. Nasu noted that she’d be able to guide the two of them to a safer place if she could walk. “I can try.” Crotona would push herself fully up. Her body shook as she did that, she was really not in good shape but she breathed out. She had to just to power through it.
Nilen was even nice enough to offer a hand to help her get up. She had been able to get up before she saw the hand. She was really just focused on Nasu. “Oh i’m sorry yah thanks.” She take the hand to help steady herself as she was standing. It gave her something to lean on why fully getting her legs under her. That was pretty helpful in this situation. Nilen also confirmed he was pretty fine the creature had done too much too harm. So guess she was the only one that was hurt. Sort of embarrassing that they all assumed it was these creatures that hurt her. But guess she understood it, her story would stand out. Being on another planet and flung across space to here? Yah that didn’t seem very convincing. Because at this point she could say pretty confidently this was not Namek. Anyway she turned as she sensed and heard someone else arrive, a blue skinned woman. As for asking if it was a party she glanced, “Not really. I’m just trying to find medical attention really.”

He wondered if the fox creature had perhaps yet realized that he was a native. He knew the Saibamen well enough from the plenty of encounters he had to bore himself through in the latest months. But he was right. They were a nuisance more than a source of actual training one could even remotely rely on for a decent training. At least that was all Nasu could think about at the moment.
"Suit yourself then."
Nasu would not pull the extra leg for a stranger out of nowhere. But he could have been maybe curious to at least hear where these people came from and why. Not that it was any of his duty, really, to watch out for foreigners and strangers but he wondered if they were perhaps interested in all the political and warfare debate that Plant was full of every day and night.
"I am Nasu."
He would not have been surprised if that was the case. He did not seem to really offer himself a hand or anything and just let his gaze watch over Crotona, even if she was not in full health it was not like she was in any condition to die right there at the moment. It could probably go away with some basic treatment. Even if he did not know where she could find that in the capital, he knew she could only find it there.
"You will not find medical attention in the middle of nowhere, you probably need to visit either the Saiyans or the Tuffles' capital. Since you are neither, you could probably get away with visiting either. I would not have any reason to suggest you one over the other."
Would he have been wrong to even consider the Tuffles an option? Maybe. But she was not involved in the war so it was 'whatever' to him. Another more tagged along; an even stranger individual. It was quite a mixture of people all at once, not one did probably have a purpose here and by now Nasu was beginning to grow bored.
"No. Why are there so many people out here?"
He knew Shari was not serious but he replied nevertheless. And in the end his gaze focused upon Crotona again and tilted his head, he turned around and began to slowly pace himself upon the lands. He walked slow enough probably for her to even realize if she was in any condition to move.
Nasu seemed willing to help lead them to a place where the Konatsian could get help in spite of his tone and expression seeming to not give that feeling to Nilen at all. Maybe he just wasn't accustomed to reading the feelings of others, though. It's possible this planet's natives had ways of thinking that just didn't align with his own. It wasn't something he could do anything about, though. They probably just had a different way of life than him.
When yet another new arrival showed up, the fox eared human began to wonder if there wasn't something else out here that was attracting everyone into a group like this. Was there some hidden treasure or supernatural allure to this place that he was unaware of? Nobody even mentioned rumors of treasure, so he had to assume it couldn't be that. Still, he helped to keep Crotona on her feet and walking around with some small semblance of stability simply by way of being a pillar for her to lean on as needed. "Well, that'll be a step in the right direction."
He glanced to the newest arrival and canted his head to one side as he looked at her to watch how Sharizya was reacting to the odd reception of an Earthling, A Saiyan, and a Konatsian out in the middle of nowhere. "Not fortunate enough to be a party. Shame, really. This place looks to need livening up."
Nasu: "No. Why are there so many people out here?" "Because its the happening place to be..."
Nilen: "Not fortunate enough to be a party. Shame, really. This place looks to need livening up." "That's the spirit! They say laughter is the best medicine."
Shari looks at Nasu and then at Crotona. Did I walk into something, here? I can keep walking if so. If that's the case, I have a consolation prize. Even if you don't want me to leave, you can keep them. Sharizya concentrates and a gift box appears wrapped all nice with a bow. She hands it to Nasu. Then she concentrates again and she hands a second box to Crotona. She repeats the processs a third time to give Nilen a present as well. She materializes a fourth box and saves it for herself.
"If you would, please wait til I'm out of the splash zone to open them, though. To get this party going..." Sharizya materializes a boom box that apparently doesn't need power. It plays something loud and up beat.
"And look..." she indicates a saibaman wandering by, apparently deciding its not in its best interrest to pick a fight. "A pinata! Nothing fun inside though... My name is Shari... Sharizya by the way."
Crotona was able to stand and now she had people who could hopefully guide her to where she needed to go. Nasu noted that the middle was not gonna have what she needed. The tuffles or the saiyans would work. Crotona nodded. “Noted and what side are you on? Guess I'd follow you right?” If he was with one of the sides she assumed there was some trust in them. Then again Nasu did seem a bit off. But she could not fully put her thumb on it. So for now she’d just let it go. Anyway, Nasu seemed like he was going to take her to the saiyan side which was what she expected. That made the most sense. He was a saiyan so why would he not be siding with his kind?
Anyway, what about the others? She should not be fully focused on Nasu afterall. Ninlen seemed nice enough though he did note this place could use a bit of living up. It was just a dust bowl. “Yah this place is not really that great. This area anyway. I not seen the rest of the planet but when I woke up I thought I was on the ruins of a planet. Guess that makes sense if there has been a war here.” Shariza meanwhile she was of an odd ball. She was able to create a boombox out of thin air. Some sort of magic that was cool. And noted they could use a saibaman like a pinata. “Nice to meet you Shari. And maybe not do that? They are just creatures. Killing them to defend yourself is fine but doing that? Maybe a bit extreme.”
What was this woman talking about? Truly he was not the most lucid person in the room but he could probably guess that she had to possibly talk about the conflict with the Tuffles. There was no other way around it. As far as he knew at least there was literally no use in talking about sides. Saiyans were Saiyans and Tuffles were Tuffles. Not to mention the fact there was hardly a reason to pick a side. The Queen had not been heard from for a concerning bit and frankly his leash had begun to become loose. He had no interest in associating with the Queen if she was not there.
"You do not have to pick sides right now. Much less worry about wars. This planet is stale and dreadfully boring. If I were you I would leave. I know I am."
The newcomer was strangely annoying. What was even the happening place to be? His features did not display his annoyance but the lack of attention he gave the lady was probably enough to make it obvious for anyone who was attentive enough to such small details. He was handed a gift. In his hands he just caught it out of an instinctive pull towards the object but he did not seem amused. If anything, he stared at it plainly for a few moments. Not a single twitch in his eyes passed before he just let go of it and continued his march to the capital.
"There are better places here. You ended up in the most desolate spot of the planet where the only people you will find are probably training against the Saibamen."
Nilen read the room a bit and decided it best not to push the lively agenda any further. The other fellow here had a demeanor akin to a block of ice and the injured woman obviously prioritized getting some medical aid over ambient and upbeat music and entertainment. He shrugged it all off and set off in stride with Nasu, but only if Crotona could keep up. He'd let her lean on him if need be and help her keep pace with Nasu as best he could. He was impressed by how resilient and sturdy the woman seemed to be. Nilen had seen people with far lesser injuries incapacitated completely, but she seemed to be holding steady. She was even mentally aware enough to make a case for not idly slaughtering local 'wildlife' for sport. He could respect that. His tribe never hunted for sport because life, any life, in the desert was precious.
"I am Nilen," he responded to Shari, then turned back to Crotona and Nasu. "I have not seen most of the planet yet myself. I arrived here a little while ago. I do not think I am interested in picking sides. I just want to explore and learn about new things. Places, people, culture. That sort of thing." Nilen didn't bother explaining why he was looking to learn more. It was a personal endeavor, and these people were still very much strangers to him in a strange land.
"So you got your injuries from an intense battle, but not one pertaining to the clashes on this planet? The thought of multiple wars happening across the galaxy at the same time is a concerning one." He voiced his concerns aloud. In truth they ran much deeper for Nilen than for most even if the wars didn't involve Earth or his tribe. Because he had to record the information he discovered to bring back to his tribe. If they all came to the conclusion that the outside world was still too violent and unsafe for the tribe, their isolationist nature would continue...and likely end up more intensified than before. It wouldn't be without justification, either, but that's not what Nilen wanted to achieve with his scholarly efforts.
