”Oh poo! I knew I went too hard!”
Iyre’s slumped half-corpse gave him cause for alarm, and while he hadn’t intended to cause such intense harm, he was a little impressed by himself. He’d really grown quite a bit since he’d started traipsing around the northern galaxy. To think, not even a year ago his magic never would’ve been a tenth of this potent! But he was getting sidetracked. There was a woman to fix up.
Twirling his index finger like a conductor at an orchestra, he commanded the shadows to form into a little bowl with legs to cart the girl around. It scuttled across the wet expanse, following closely behind Erebos as he leaped from place to place to look for shelter. Though the Heran had disturbed the storm’s approach rather well, something was causing it to stir again. He’d have to work fast to find shelter…
…
Hour passed, though it wasn’t quite certain how many due to Namek’s many suns being blotted out by the storm clouds. What once was a hefty thunderstorm had transformed into a full blown downpour. Rain pelted the ground with immense force, forming immense puddles along the terrain, and bringing great clouds of mist up from the lava river. The everlasting sound of sizzling liquids permeated the air.
Erebos sat opposite Iyre at a campfire. They were situated in a cave hidden beneath a sheer drop on the cliff above them. In other words, it’d be quite hard for the rain to actually reach them.
It was strange. The wind and rain so cold and yet the ambient heat of the lava so hot. It created this warm, muggy atmosphere. Hard to breath but comfortable all at once.
For a time, he simply sat around. Chewing on some random bits of junk food he stored in his shadows months ago, he had the silhouette of a spider poke at the flames with a stick for him.
”Maybe I should make a television…”
