TAORI'S PL: 42,000 |
ACTIVE TRANSFORMATIONS: None |
And, just as advertised, the candle worked. At least, it seemed like it worked. There had been a brilliant flash of light, the feeling of being whisked off his feet, and then, Taori was somewhere very different from Plant. He blinked a few moments as his eyes took in all the unique sights of... Wherever he had ended up. Waterfalls cascaded down from bright green cliffs, into pools of vibrant, sparkling blue water.
So, this was heaven? Taori frowned. Every soul that had ever departed the galaxy... They had all ended up here? Taori had to say, he'd been expecting something different. He wasn't sure exactly what, just not... This. It felt wrong, being here - like he was trespassing. And while he was no stranger to going behind enemy lines, this was different than a mission into Tuffle territory, this was a personal journey beyond the bounds of time and space as he knew them. No one knew he was here, not even Alpinia. And, hopefully, he'd find Garrick and get the hell out of this place before anyone noticed he was missing.
But where to even start searching...? Taori took a long look around, and couldn't spot a single soul. Great, had he ended up warping into the heaven boonies? He wasn't so sure his scouter would do him much good, if this whole place really did expand across the universe, but it was just about the only tool he had when it came to searching, so...
"Hm," he mumbled as he gave the area a deep scan. It took a minute, but... There! A Saiyan power level far beyond all the others in the area: that had to have been Garrick. ...Well, it didn't have to be, but it was something. Taori took off in the direction it was coming from, but, after he started to get close, his scouter's data went fuzzy. "No, no, come on!" he groaned as he gave the scouter a smack. Clearly it wasn't a fan of being forced to function in a realm entirely outside the one it had been programmed for.
With a sigh, Taori touched down on the ground nearest where he'd seen the signal coming from last. This would have been a moment where understanding energy sensing might've come in handy. Too late for, he supposed. There was one thing he could try. "Garrick!" he called out. "Is that you? Garrick!" If the Saiyan heard his voice, surely he'd come running, right?
