"Woah, what is this?" Shoga asked nobody, staring out at the shattered ruins of the strange, floating structure. In a fit of boredom, he had been testing how high he could jump from the top of Korin's Tower, and ended up bonking his head on the underside of... whatever this place was. Of course, once he found the thing, he had to see what it was. Shoga had to admit, even in its messed-up state, this weird floating sky-dome was still pretty imposing. Where it hadn't been rent asunder, the floor of the inverted dome was constructed of white tile, spotless even after what Shoga had to assume were many, many years of neglect. Maybe the high winds up here kept the dust off? Even the plants were still green, somehow. "I wonder if somebody comes up here to water them..." he wondered aloud, rubbing his chin.
Shoga's attention was inevitably drawn to the structure at the far end of the dome-thing, which loomed as imposingly as any good sky-castle should. He shouldn't... should he? This place was spooky, but more than that it looked... sacred, somehow. The whole place had a weird smell to it that Shoga couldn't put a name to, buried under the mingled scents of ancient stone and dust. Whatever it was, it was making him feel uncharacteristically cautious. But the thought that Shoga couldn't shake was that Fend must know this place was up here... why hadn't she mentioned it before?
"... Huh, speak of the devil." Shoga turned to look down over the lip of the structure, at the swirling clouds below. He could feel the familiar TV-staticky feeling that he got whenever he tried to decipher Fend's aura. The aura was totally nondescript, which ironically made it very identifiable, given that he had never sensed anybody else with an aura like that. Shoga wondered if it was some kind of technique, or if that was just her natural state. Then again, if she had a reason to hide her aura signature, it was probably a good one, and Shoga trusted her well enough at this point not to question it.
In any case, it definitely felt like she was on her way up.
