With Derry's sudden arrival from Plant, few if any of the Dirty Snakes were even aware of his return, and he plans on keeping it that way for now. He wants to take care of a few errands before making his way back to HQ and take the opportunity to see just how things were running with Mirin in charge. They've been doing this whole back and forth for a long while, where the shapeshifter takes on the form of Derry and poses at him while the real boss is off world. Every time Derry does come back, he tends to hide for a bit to see just how Mirin has been keeping up.
Tonight, however, Derry is having some special meetings with a few local news anchors, two of which are stationed here in Central City and the others are scattered about across the other cities and villages. The location: A lone warehouse off in the industrial park of Central City. If he's going to be attempting to become president of Earth, he's going to need some insurance in case some people might try and reveal his ties to the Dirty Snakes. However, there was one person in particular that Derry has yet to meet, and he was rather eager to meet up with this mysterious stranger. One by one, he made deal after deal with each of the anchors until nobody left was inside the room he was conducting the interview in.
Inside there was a single lightbulb illuminating the surprisingly small space, with a wooden table and two chairs being the only pieces of furniture inside. Derry is sitting in one of the chairs, leaning back with his feet on the table edge. Smoking a single cigarette and reading one of the newspapers an anchor gave to him as a gift, he waits patiently for the final and newest guest to arrive.
