Patrolling the Park [Invite]

As the terrified couple watch in horror as Meister shoved Aikon into the pole, he noticed that poor Runie's gummies fell to the ground due to the impact. Clearly she wasn't satisfied with this, and though she could always just conjure up another bag, Meister knew it was quite a nuisance for his daughter. His glowing white eyes sharpen at the minor amount of trouble Marune has gone through because of this stubborn old fool. As the majin watches on, Meister brings the halberd down and finishes the job at the cowering saiyan, leaving behind no visible wounds. For a brief moment, Aikon was completely still as he was still holding his hands up in an attempt to shield himself before his hands swiftly fall to the ground. The man was now completely emotionless, his soul already heading towards King Yemma as they speak. 

With his job taken care of, it was now time to tend to Runie. His halberd disappears from his hands and he floats over towards the little one before asking, "I apologize for your now lost gummies, Runie. Perhaps some more would help sate you, or maybe some cleanup is in order?" Meister motions his hand over towards the body of the saiyan attacker, but as he looks over he realizes that the couple was still around and just as terrified as they were before. He floats over towards them slowly and asks, "Are you two alright? That ruffian didn't manage to harm either of you, yes? Trust us, you're in good hands now."

"Who, or what, are you?" The woman asks in a terrified tone, not knowing how exactly to handle all of this. The two just saw Meister kill a man, and though Aikon was mugging them a minute ago, seeing hiss soul leave before their very eyes understandably put them on edge. "Perhaps some answers would calm you down. I am known as the Demon of Sinners, Meister. You have no need to fear me, for I only hunt the wicked. The little one over there is my daughter, Marune. Say hello, Runie." 

Meister's white eyes slowly move upwards on his nonexistent face as he quietly thinks, "Well you four up there sure are quiet this time around, aren't you?"

"Well it seems like you have the situation under control," Guerre speaks up inside of Meister's mind, "nothing much really going on."

"And I just don't want to get in the way," Muerte comments quietly, "afterall, it's been a while since little Runie here has been with us, and I don't want to cause any distractions."

"Certainly makes our jobs easier knowing our garbage disposal's back," Jihuang jests loudly inside the demon's mind.

"Could you not call little Runie that?"

"What? I'm just joking."

"I've just been looking forward to the absorption," Ekibyo pipes up, "I want to make sure I start the clock as soon as the process begins."

"Okay, enough talking for now."

As always, Runie was about as cheery and bubbly as ever, despite the recent tragedy that unfolded involving her now lost gummies. The couple were still hesitant around both the demon and majin, but they were making progress as the two eased up their shoulders and remained in place. It makes sense for people to be fearful of a man dressed in a cloak with only two glowing white eyes visible under the hood, which is why Runie was the perfect person to help dispel any fear. "As I have said," Meister continues after Runie's little introduction, "we mean no harm to either of you."

To help defuse the situation even more so, Runie conjures up some chocolate bars for the couple and Meister himself. Now that the two have calmed down, they slowly take the bars from his daughter and begin partaking in this delicious treat she made. Meister has no mouth obviously, but he still shoves the entire bar into his hood, the black mist pouring out swallowing it whole, never to be seen again. Truth be told, he doesn't even need food to survive nor could he taste it, but it wasn't like he was going to say no to Runie. "A wonderful treat, as always," Meister comments. He turns his gaze towards the couple and states, "There is no need for the two of you to remain. Please, enjoy the rest of your night." The couple nods and turn away from both Meister and Marune while snacking on their bars.

Once Runie was done 'taking care' of the saiyan's body and doing her job, she asks him if they could check out Sparking World up above. He raises his skeleton hand up to his nonexistent chin and pretends to rub it while debating such an idea. Truth be told, it would be lovely to take Runie to such a fun place, at least, from what he's heard. Problem is, Meister's rather ghastly appearance would stick out like a sore thumb. He's still experimenting with transfiguration magic and learning about shifting his appearance, so perhaps... "That would be lovely, Runie. It might be a bit difficult to fit in, but I could perhaps pose as one of those cosplayers, or whatever it is they call people in costumes nowadays. Lead the way."

As Meister was 'eating' his chocolate bar Runie gave to him, the young majin couldn't help but laugh at his little trick. It always warms his heart to see little Runie so cheery, especially right after one of his jobs. The moment he agreed to take Marune up to check and see what Sparking World has to offer, Runie began jumping up and down in excitement while eating her chocolate bar in record time. Of course, the biggest difficulty was how he would move about without attracting too much attention and making sure nobody touches his hands nor his face, or lack thereof. Speaking of which, Runie grabs onto Meister's skeleton hand and drags him along towards the closest set of stairs, the demon basically powerless to stop the hyper active majin.

When the two finally arrive at the wristband station, Meister grabs hold of both bands for both him and Runie. The lady serving was staring right at Meister's face the entire time, and even attempted to put the band on Meister herself. To avoid scaring the living daylights out of the human worker, Meister just takes the bands and spares the woman's sanity. Once Meister paid for the bands, Marune couldn't help but drag Meister over towards Rollercoaster. He never really quite got the appeal of such a ride considering that he could always just fly around really fast and get a similar feeling, but if it makes Marune happy, then there should be no problems with him joining in.

After standing around in the line for a couple of minutes the two finally arrive at the cart and the young majin immediately moves in to grab a seat. She pats the seat next to her, beckoning the demon to sit right next to her. Without hesitation, Meister move into the cart and takes his seat right next to his daughter, making sure all of the belts and rails were on, not that falling out of the cart would even hurt them should it happen. A few of the guests from behind couldn't help but continue staring right at the demon, but their attention is quickly shifted as the cart begins to move up the hill. The other guests behind the demon were all joyfully screaming as the cart rapidly moves about the track, go up a series of hills, and even go up a loop a few times. It was all still child's play for Meister, but he still wanted to play along for Runie, raising his arms into the air whenever the other guests do to blend it a bit.

The coaster continues moving about the track as Runie has the time of her life while Meister keeps a close eye on the young majin. Considering all of the times he's been thrown about back in both the Demon Realm and Hell, the enjoyment of something as simple in comparison as a roller coaster was still lost on the Demon of Sinners. Regardless, it was always a pleasure seeing Runie so cheerful and full of glee, even though it's a bit hard to see with the coaster moving around so much. Once the ride comes to a complete halt, Runie hops out of the cart and grabs hold of the demon's skeleton hand, dragging him towards the next attraction.

She drags Meister over to some sort of dart game, and the attendant there couldn't help but give a rather confused and worrisome glance over at the demon and majin. The man's eyes lit up the moment he saw Meister pull out a little bit of zeni, just enough for one game of darts. Most of the zeni Meister ever collects are from bystanders and victims who wanted to thank the demon for saving them from attackers in some way. He didn't have much of a use for it, however, so he always kept a massive pile back in his house in Hell, and should he ever need it, he could make a small portal into the safe to grab a handful of money.

Once Meister hands over the money to the attendant, the little one takes the darts and tosses them at the board, managing to pop two balloons and grabbing a cat plushie. She hugs it tight before letting Meister look at it himself. He moves his hand up and down the plush and squishes it a bit before letting Runie have it back. "Quite soft, indeed," Meister comments as he looks around to see what else is nearby. "Do you spot anything else around?" Nothing in particular stood out to Meister himself, with the only thing of mild interest being the strongman, though that this is designed for the average human. He imagines he and Runie would break it unless they gently tap it with the hammer.

The Demon of Sinners continues watching on as Runie looks around for the next attraction, curious as to what Sparking World beholds to the two of them. As Meister was glancing around at all of the carnival games that almost seemed to blend together due to their similar color palettes, the young majin grabs hold of his hand and starts dragging him towards one of the stalls, which appears to be some sort of ring toss game. A simple game of precise aiming should be mere child's play to someone who has had over a century of experience tossing around blasts of ki, but it should prove to be entertaining. Besides, if they aren't too careful, they could end up breaking the bottles instead.

Runie points towards the ten ring deal, and Meister pulls out enough zeni to purchase the set as the attendant brings out the rings while staring right at the demon's face. "You, uh, got smoke machine's up there buddy?" The attendant asks. "Lightweight ones, of course. Unfortunately I have to change them out rather often to keep it going," Meister lies as he watches Runie take a few of the rings on both her hands and her tail. After tossing four rings, she found no success, much to both of their dismay. Runie grumbles to herself as Meister takes a closer look at both the ring and the bottles. Judging from what he sees, the rings are just big enough to barely fit around the bottles, a difference so small that it would take incredible precision to get even one of the remaining rings on. The fact that the bottles are also so close together doesn't exactly help either as they continue bouncing off of each other. The margin of error was extremely slim.

In her frustration, Runie threw out the remaining rings at the bottles, with none of them landing on any of the bottles. As the little majin begins pouting to herself, Meister gives a quick glare at the attendant, making them shiver a bit before turning his attention towards Runie. He places his hand onto the majin in an attempt to comfort her before looking around for another carnival game. She'll need one to boost her confidence after such a disaster, and from what he remembers, the strongman game seems to be the perfect choice for her. "I did spot a strongman game earlier," Meister mentions as he points in its direction.

Whether or not Marune is able to control her strength doesn't matter to Meister. All that really matters is cheering up Runie after that miniature disaster at the ring toss, so winning a game such as this should make things just a little bit better. Once again the little majin tugs on the demon's hand, and the two of them make their way over towards the strongman game, hoping to land a prize there. Meister instinctively starts pulling out more zeni to give to the attendant there by the time the two alive.

As Meister was handing the money to the attendant for three tries, the woman couldn't help but give him a weird look just like the others, though she quickly looks away when she realizes that Meister noticed her. After giving her the money, Meister turns around and is hugged by Runie before she mentions that this will be their last game. After holding on for a few moments, the majin separates and grabs hold of the hammer, evidently light for Runie considering how easy it is for her to swing it around. 

Judging from Meister's ki sensing abilities, Marune lowers her own power level drastically to be more fitting of a girl with her build. She winds up the hammer and swings it down, resulting in the puck rising about a fourth of the way up before gravity takes its toll and it starts falling back down. The little majin gives it another go, raising her power once again to give it a bigger boost. This time around, the puck manages to make it over halfway to the bell, but yet again it starts falling back down.

Meister expects Marune to raise her power level once again to hit the bell on the third try, but he was taken aback when she hands the mallet over to him instead, asking him to take the final swing. Though he grabs hold of the handle, he was rather hesitant at first to take the final swing for Runie. If she was so willing to let him have the final swing and close out their little night, then so be it. He steps right up and rests the handle on his right shoulder, wondering just how much power he needs to be at in order to succeed. 

Meister raises the mallet off of his shoulder and overs the head over the target every so slightly, only hovering by a few inches. Within a few seconds, Meister pulls the hammer back and over his shoulder before bringing it all the way down onto the target, the force from the impact sending the puck all the way to the very top, the bell ringing out loudly. The attendant starts clapping for a bit and motions to Meister to pick out one of the various prizes that he can pick out. He has little interest in anything they might have, so he turns back towards Runie and asks, "What would you like?"
