He had promptly arrived to the Saiyan Palace and the people who knew of him, had noticed his youthful appearance but most importantly, his power level. His ki signature had been recognized so many times by the saiyan soldiers and nobles that it didn't matter how dramatic his looks were, he was always noticed mainly because of the burnt scar on his face. As he arrived, he was greeted by two saiyan soldiers who wore royal guard attire. They took noticed and one of them spoke in a whisper being shocked of his arrival.
"LordSlayer... Yangcong you look so..."
"Different? I know. I got some cosmetic surgery while I was off on a different planet."
They simply dismissed it as they allowed him in. As he walked through the hallways with a red crimson cloak over his right torso side, effectively covering everything except for his right ankle and saiyan boot. He wore his famous teal colored saiyan armor with orange chest plating. While in the palace, he headed straight for the former leader's statue that stood proudly and noticed by all. He would pay its respects as he stood there with a stern facial expression and kept looking up at it with a vibrant stare. If he truly wanted, he would fight for the throne just so that he could end this war. But he didn't have the desire that others had.

Zerori's Thread PL: 24,000 Zriracha is not present
Zerori had thought long and hard about what Zuqetta had said once - about there being no King to lead the people and that was - debatably - the issue. While she still wanted to find her father and the Tuffle side of things was more or less inconclusive, Zerori had decided to at least try and see what the palace looked like for the hell of it! And she was going to do it in STYLE!
Earlier that day, after Zuqetta had gone off on her own adventures for a time, her mother had approached her with a gift of all things. And what was it but an actual DARK CLOUD! The same one that Rosemary had when she’d met her back in the Saiba-Wastes! While her mom had gone on and on about how she was sorry about interfering with her fight and losing sight of ‘what mattered’, Zerori was just excited to finally have a little companion to fly around on. “It’s fine! MOM!” Zerori yelled, sitting cross-legged on her little cloud as it floated up and down.
“I don’t want to lose you, little ember. What would I do without you?” Zriracha pouted, holding a hand to her face in that typical melodramatic way she did.
With a groan, Zerori retorted spicily, “Probably get old and eat a tire or somethin’...”
“Hey! I take offense to that - tires are only a good as they are prepared-”
And that was as far as she was willing to listen before she decided to take the cloud around for a spin. Eventually, she’d passed over the city and gazed down at the Saiyans below as they went about their business in the dark of night. She was hardly visible to most, but if they used their scouter or were able to sense energy - they’d be able to at least notice someone was passing by. That didn’t stop her from flying over the palace and jumping off her cloud to land along the ground a soft ‘Oof!’ In front of her were two guards, looking more than a little wary at this new visitor.
“State your intentions!” One guard demanded, looking ready to throw the first punch.
Zerori just held her hands behind her head with a grin, “What, visitors can’t just see the palace? There’s no king so it’s basically a museum until someone claims it, right?” She brought a hand up to her face, a distasteful look as she clarified, “I ain’t here to do anything uNsCrUpuLoUs, so just let me go inside and look around.”
“You would dare-?!” The other guard snarled, incensed by Zerori's clear lack of respect or decorum as she just looked between the two of them, ready to fight if need be.
After hearing some commotion close by, two guards were speaking to a demon and they were strong based on their ki energy. He would approach the commotion and stared at her with a slight smirk.
"Let her in, she's right you know. No one holds the title."
The guards allowed her in, with one of them speaking briefly.
"Lord Yangcong, my apologies."
Though he had no status ever being a Lord, he had proven time and time again that his service to the saiyans was always there. As he walked away, he would hope that the both of them would follow as he casually looked over his shoulder.
"You must be confused as to why guards are there. We are currently in an ongoing war on this planet. Its the tuffles fighting the saiyans. So guards have to be on duty 24/7 while in the city grounds. We wouldn't want to be overrun and lose territory. My name is Yangcong by the way, but I guess you already knew that by the guards. I am no Lord however, no one is obligated to call me Lord. I just have been serving this army for the passed 60 years since I was a child. But enough about me, tell me about yourself."
He'd stop at the statue that he was looking at before, staring at the King that once held power here.

Just as she was sure she’d have to get into another fight, another guys’ voice would call out to the guards in her defense. Looking past the guard, Zerori cocked an eyebrow at the man who approached, noticing his odd colored eye first before she realized that he was… he looked weird. That might have been because of his eye but the burn scar on his face was a likely candidate, too - sticking out like a sore thumb as Zerori stared for just a little bit too long. “Uh… thanks,” She shook her head, walking into the palace and giving the guards an appropriate middle finger for the trouble.
As she followed the scarred man inside Zerori felt a little awkward, as if she were being led along to a trap. The hybrid gave a shrug as she continued to follow him, looking around after he described that there was a war going on. “No shit? I mean, it’s their job so I don’t really care. If they attacked me, I woulda just kicked their asses” She smirked, bringing her arms up behind her head casually. “But yeah, nice to meetcha. Zerori… of Chakkapak,” She wasn’t used to introducing herself by the clan’s title but her mother was insistent that it was the proper way of things when meeting someone of high standing. At least, she assumed Yangcong was by the title of ‘Lord’ those guards seemed to address him by.
Whether or not he was a Lord, the job he described was no doubt very important, “Sixty years? You’re lying,” She laughed, stopping next to him as he was in front of this huge statue. She took a moment to look up at it as well, taking in the details of the once King that ruled this planet before she looked away - decidedly uninterested.
“I’m a Demon, not much really to be said about that,” She started, looking at a wall that apparently caught her attention. “Came here to find my Dad and, like… see if the rumors about there being no King were true. Guess they are, but that doesn’t really help me, either.” She shrugged. An idea came to her, then, and Zerori looked back at Yangcong suddenly, “Wait, if you’re sixty, that means you’ve been alive a while. Have you heard of a guy named ‘Taro’? Real smart dude! Probably worked with Tuffles or something?!” The excitement was clear in her voice.
He'd smirk and chuckle as the girl was quite rude. Looking like a demon he merely shook his head in disbelief. He didn't need to ask to know what she was.
"You like to fight I take it? Think you can beat me little girl?"
When she mentioned her father and his name, he had no idea who that was. He lightly shrugged his shoulders after having his hand to his chin just thinking about it.
"I don't have a clue who that is. and where is your mother? Why are you left all by yourself anyways?"
He started to wonder, to have a young child without their father in the picture. He had grown up around her age without a father because his own father had died during the war. He'd turn to face her and then patted her head lightly as he smirked.
"I can help you find your father child."
He'd have his left arm behind his back now as he lightly touched her head with his right hand if she allowed it. He spoke in a soft whisper, chanting a demonic spell. If she allowed it, the both of them would be teleported out of the palace and to the outskirts just outside of the city. He'd then take his hand off her head and smile.
"No need to worry child, no one will dare try to attack us out here. Unless they want to meet death so soon."
He'd walk beside her with his arms to his back and his hood over his head.

Zerori scoffed under her breath, “Probably. You feel tough, but I bet I could take ya,” She confidently gloated, not really comprehending her chances with much intelligence beyond the fact that she was younger and not from here and he was… well, older. He’d assisted Vegeta for a long time, though, so that was likely an advantage for him. When he told her that he hadn’t heard of her Father and asked about her mother, Zerori’s confident pride fell into an annoyed expression, growling low in the back of her throat. She wanted to get to know this guy, but the longer he went on about her being a ‘little girl’ and a ‘child’ the angrier Zerori started to get.
To the first question, Zerori snarled, “She’s around - we ain’t talkin’ about her right now,” Making it clear that Zerori didn’t want this guys’ focus to be on her mother when she was here and she was mature enough to be treated with respect! When he patted her on the head, Zerori threw her arm out and hissed, “Keep it up with the ‘child’ schtick and I’ll prove to you I can beat your ass, Old Man.” In spite of this, Zerori was still caught off guard by him mentioning that he could help her find her father - placing his other hand on her head before she could react.
A fraction of a second later, they were gone from the Palace - Zerori flailing her arms to slap his hand off of her head before looking around her. “What the hell-?!” How did he teleport them? Was he… Was he a Demon, too?!
She turned back to him as he spoke, her irritation reignited, “Fine, but don’t call me a ‘child’ again,” She crossed her arms, tapping her foot along the ground, “So, how’re you gonna help me find my Dad if you don’t know even know him? Also, how’d you teleport? You a Demon too?” She was literally full to bursting with questions about this guy.
He had chuckled as she mentioned that she didn't want to be called a child. He'd lightly patted her head as he continued to walk down the wasteland.
"You can say that i'm a demon. But let's just say I made a deal with a demon. I spent a few weeks studying a spell book. I learned a lot while I was isolated in solitude back on a planet called Earth in the snowy mountains all by myself. I had time to learn... As far as finding your father, if there is one location I know where the tuffles tend to hang out at. Then perhaps your father is over there."
He now had arrived at a particular location. It was an underground bunker of sorts, but really, it was a massive bar that was located in a neutral territory between both sides. As he entered, held the child in front of him and whisper.
"Stay close, it isn't exactly safe like the palace we were just in..."
As he said this, he darted his eyes around before heading towards the bartender. People who stared at him and his face, knew who he was. They could feel his strong presence and they slowly began to dart their eyes elsewhere as he got closer to the bar. He'd now approach the bartender and slightly squinted his eyes as they met his.
"Have you seen a man, that looks close to this demon?"
He'd guided his eyes towards the girl and the bartender looked to her.

Zerori slapped Yangcong’s hand away again as he tried to pat her on the head, deciding for the moment to just be passive aggressive with him since he was insistent on treating her like a kid in SOME manner. She listened to his explanation with interest, her ear twitching a bit at the mention of him not only making a deal with a Demon but also learning such spells from a book he was either given or found. He’d even gone to Earth, a planet Zerori had enough experience with to agree that snowy mountains were a pretty isolating place. Every place was a little isolating on Earth unless it was in a city. “A tuffle hang-out, huh? Well, it sounds like a pretty good place to check,” Zerori mumbled, a little nervous about where this place was.
When they arrived at a bunker that certainly smelled and felt like the kind of place a rat would make it’s home in, Zerori would suddenly find herself with Yangcong in front of her, warning her of the danger.
Wait, didn’t you just say-? She blinked, confused as she made a choked sound while pointing and looking back toward where the palace was - until finally she shook her head with a sigh, “Whatever, let’s just go!” She whispered harshly before pushing past him and into the bar. What she saw was just like in the comic she read back in the Demon Realm about a ‘bars that held the most ill-refuted hunters’ - with the exception of the drunkards that were asleep on the tables and the odd sound of what was water dripping from the ceiling.
Oh, wow, this place is a… dump, Fantasy ruined, Zerori followed Yangcong to the bartender and listened to his question before being prompted as the apparent look-alike. She looked back at Yangcong with an unamused expression, “... really? A man that looks like me?” She deadpanned.
Actually… we have,” The bartender said after a moment of looking at her, earning an astonished wide-eyed stare from Zerori.
“Are you serious?” She didn’t even know what her Dad looked like, but… this guy could tell?! Were they really that close in appearance and genetics? She rushed at him and slammed her hands on the table, yelling in his face, “Where?!”
The man that the bartender pointed too, wasn't exactly no ordinary man to say the least. He had a missing left eye for one and veins that bulged out around that missing eye. This saiyan easily over towered the rest and as Yangcong left to approach this saiyan, it was a trap setup by the bartender himself. This saiyan that Yangcong was approaching is about of a renegade group that are basically thugs that abandoned the war to commit crimes. As Yangcong had approached him, another saiyan had arrived and attempted to sucker punch Yangcong in the back of the head. However Yangcong wasn't a novice when it came to ambushes and the saiyan's entire fist had phase straight through Yangcong's head entirely. Yangcong had quickly elbowed the man in the face and sending him straight on his back and knocked out entirely due to the force. The saiyan gang leader looked at him in shock. He had never seen a man who could phase through anything. Yangcong looked at him and could tell that this wasn't the girl's father, since now a few other saiyans had now crowded him. This was a gang trap and Yangcong looked to the child with a slight smirk.

While she was hopeful for just the briefest of moments, the moment the bartender pointed to a Saiyan that was sitting at a table that looked…nothing like her, Zerori knew it was all a bunch of bullshit. Staring at the Saiyan with narrowed eyes, the young hybrid felt the immediate temptation to not only destroy the bar beneath her hands but to kick every single one of these guys ass that were in said bar. Thankfully, as Zerori turned to see Yangcong almost get knocked into next Tuesday by another Saiyan… it seemed like she was about to get the chance.
Within seconds, there was a group of them all in the bar - crowding about the two of them. Zerori looked around, frowning for the moment as she lamented just how much of a waste of time this planet was, Zuqetta was right. All Saiyans wanna do is just destroy whatever they can’t have. Like, no offense Mom but you couldn’t have done better? Zerori thought with amusement. Yangcong’s voice caught her attention and the hybrid rolled her shoulder - grinning with excitement as she responded.
“Thought you’d never ask-!” And almost immediately, Zerori was using the objects around them to her advantage. Using a chair and table, Zerori jumped up high into the air before using her height to spin-kick one guy in the face before he even knew what happened before jumping up just as another tried to grab her off the table. As she landed, Zerori used the second Saiyan’s head as a trampoline to not only slam him face into the table but to also jump onto the shoulders of another Saiyan.
“Get ready for my-!” She locked her knees on either side of the third Saiyans head before throwing her body backwards and throwing him into a wall, “DEMONIC SUPLEX!” Using her arms for balance as she got back to her feet. With satisfaction, Zerori noticed that he’d made quite a comical man-shaped hole in the wall as he was thrown outside and turned back to Yangcong to see how he was doing.
While the girl was doing her thing and dispatching them in comical ways. Yangcong had his arms to his back, wearing his war outfit he slightly smirked as the girl wondered.
"Not to worry little girl.."
Two saiyans had came from the shadows and right behind Yangcong as his main focus was on the girl and it had appeared that he was distracted while speaking to the girl. However this was a simple ploy as both of their bodies had phased right through his entirely. Before they could realize what was happening, Yangcong had quickly grabbed them both by the back of their necks and immediately crushed their bones. Causing the both of them to die on the spot. It had appeared with the both of them working together, they were able to cause the rest of the saiyan renegades to scatter out of the bar being scared at the power of the both of them. Yangcong had made his way towards the child and lightly smiled towards her as he lightly touched her shoulder.
"You have a great fire within you child. You will do great things one day. Once we find your father, he will be impressed with the power you have."
He'd lightly raise his head slightly upwards in a sinister way.
"I can even teach you and make you stronger child... To where.."
Within a second going by, his red crimson aura would cover his body for a brief second. Showing her his power if she could sense it or at least feel it. He would then cancel his power out soon after. He'd bring his hand forward as it would then go through her body like he was a ghost and he would then phase it out from her.
"No one can lay a finger on you..."

While she’d take care of her own group - a pathetic number, really, given how many she’d taken out before on Arcose - Zerori could feel a familiar spike of anger begin to prickle at her spine. I’ve warned him… so many fuckin’ times. Zerori inwardly boiled, her expression souring once more into a glare as she watched him seemingly fade right before her eyes and appear behind the two Saiyans. She expected him to utilize his superior knowledge of battle to knock his enemies out in go or disable them in some way. However, what transpired was easy for Zerori to understand as she not only heard but felt the energies of the enemies go down to zero in a span of seconds - even as their body slumped to the ground… necks broken.
Once more, though it becoming infuriatingly common now, Zerori was left to stare in a disgusted awe at the not just Saiyans… but actual people were killed before her eyes for seemingly no reason. They attacked them, yes, but Yangcong and her power were far beyond that of their own. Jaw tightening when she felt Yangcong approach, Zerori looked up at him with a clear disapproval in her eyes - even as told her she had great power within her.
If she’d come to him first, maybe, then his words would have held some form of temptation. Of belief that his way of gaining power meant something to her.
But it didn’t And she didn’t give a damn about learning anything from a murderer.
She felt his dark energy in front of her, scenting it’s power and feeling as if she were standing in front of one of my family members… only to clench her fist so tightly before she allowed her own demonic energy to flow about her body - increasing her power so much that she could clearly feel some sort of difference between the two of them. A difference that went in her favor. She bounded backwards before his hand could even touch her and fell into a stance as she snarled at him.
“Listen here, Buddy, I ain’t got shit to learn from you. You said you could find my Dad and that’s ALL I wanted from you. If you’re really a Demon, BUB, then you’d know that other Demons from other clans ain’t to be trusted and coming from you-? I’m gettin’ LOADS of untrustworthy vibes!” She summoned a dark, warping ball of red energy and kept it at the ready, “Now…”
She was glad the other Saiyan had all left or else this wou;d have become real messy.
”Call me a child again. I dare you. I DOUBLE dare you, motherfucker. Call me a child ONE MORE goddamn time!”
He saw how mad she was and as he stood there with his arms to his back, not afraid of her increased power level, since he had entered his own the moment she entered hers. He simply looked at her with a stone cold facial expression that was serious. He wasn't in the slightest intimidated by the girl, far from it actually. He didn't see her as a serious threat as he still stood there looking at her energy ball.
"I'm not actually a demon. I was born a tuffle/saiyan. I'm a hybrid. I have only recently acquired this demonic type of appearance. I acquired youth and power, for exchange of living a much longer life."
This was just mere speculation since he wasn't sure whether or not this would grant him a longer life. However it did amplify his sinister nature to a higher degree.
"I don't want you to mistake me for a monster."
He would briefly pull out a photo of his former wife, newborn child, and himself in the picture but looking much younger. After showing her the picture, he would put it away.
"I loss my wife due to complications and my newborn son to a saiyan. There will always be evil in the world that will want to kill you. This isn't a peaceful planet. This is a war zone where it's killed or be killed. I came back to this planet to save it and stop the saiyan military from achieving victory. I will help you find your father and I will protect you along the way."
He'd kneel before her as he got down to her height and stared into her eyes.
"I wouldn't want you to die in a place like this in a war zone. If I was a monster, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to help you."
Post by Zerori and Zriracha on May 14, 2021 1:11:06 GMT -5
Already, his words didn’t make much sense and Zerori didn’t hesitate to call him out on it, “What do you mean ‘youth and power in exchange for a longer life’? That’s NOT how a Demon’s Deal works. You either give up something in exchange… or you lose it,” It was one of the reasons Zerori was always on edge ever since leaving the Demon Realm after making a deal with her own mother. She got her wish and, by proxy, so did her mother… but the cost was still confusing and unknown to her. Whatever this guy gave up for his power and youth, she wasn’t sure she wanted to know. She had something to say about his insistence that he wasn’t a monster but held her tongue as he brought out a picture of his family.
Warily, she glanced between him and the picture before relaxing just a bit. As he put the picture away and knelt down, Zerori took a wary step back - keeping her ruby red gaze level with him. He spoke of his family and loss and while Zerori didn’t really understand that well, her life with the Chakkapak clan wasn’t without the hardship of loss. It was why she hated it when people killed each other for no reason.
As he finished, Zerori would be quiet for a moment, before she snorted frustratingly. “You want me to believe you? Then do one thing for me,” She pointed at the two Saiyans that were dead on the ground, demanding with barely-suppressed rage, “Give me one good reason - One - As to why those two had to die when their power was nothing to our own?” She crossed her arms, silently calling for her mother with the use of their bond.
“I don’t need nor want your protection, Old Man. You might be like me but unless you decide to stop killing people that ain’t a threat to you AND stop calling me a GODDAMN CHILD-!” She bellowed, trying to get it in his head that she was grown and capable of taking care of herself. All her life she wanted the chance to find her own way in the mortal worlds and she wasn’t going to be coddled by some rusted fuck that was almost a hybrid. “-I don't consider us the same at all. No way in hell.”
Zerori's power reduced back to base: 24,000. Zriracha is on the way
She wanted one reason. So he pointed at his burnt scar face too emphasize on what he was going to say.
“Strength is important. But I had allowed myself to be distracted. I received this burnt scar as a Saiyan tried killing me. If you drop your guard, even a weak person can kill you... never forget that. It costed my face and right eye being close to blindness...”
He’d continue to stare into her ruby colored eyes.
“I don’t want that happening to you. I don’t want violence to come. I have lived on another planet called Earth. It’s very peaceful to say the least since there is no war.
We are in dangerous territory where there are those who want to kill. I don’t want to kill them, but if we are ganged up against the army. What do you expect us to do when the other side wants nothing more than to kill us? I have lived this long life and only wanted peace for so long. That’s why I have came back.. to stop the war.”
He’d rise to his feet and folded his arms across his chest.
“How can I prove to you that I am a nice guy?”
