Rime stepped off his ship and almost felt an instinctive need to dust himself off. Plant was an odd world in some ways, but most of all, he found it unlikeable to the Arcosian senses. In many ways, it was familiar - the wilderness were little more than wastes, incredibly hazardous and filled with all manners of dangers and predators, whether they were animal or very much sapient. Yet, things were just that bit off. Temperatures tended to be hot rather than the deep cold of Arcose, and he'd even heard of the volcanoes of this world. That would be very interesting, wouldn't it? He'd never seen a volcano in his life.
Yet, that wasn't what brought him here. He had to handle business first before he enjoyed the sights, as much as he would've liked to. What else was there? He had heard that Arcosian-made armour had been making significant gains with the people of Plant, on both sides of the war. After all, the war effort needed supplies. That was another thing Intelligence wanted him to pick up on. There was that whole information-gathering business. He was supposed to get to understand both the Saiyan and Tuffle mindset. At first, he had considered that his upcoming meeting could help with one of those, until he read the actual profile. That wouldn't help him in any way. Still, there was no reason that such a thing couldn't be pleasant.
The Arcosian walked out of the Spaceport and into Saiyan territory, utterly indifferent to the fact that he was an incredibly alien being to most of the warriors here. He would guess that their sense of honour and how they conducted their lives would make many of them think less of his kind, but he never understood such foolishness. It was one thing if a species were no better than animals, bestial and without reason. Yet, Saiyans and Arcosians could both be reasonable people, could they not? Even if one of them did have a certain difficulty with impulse control.
He did know that there were some people staring at him as he went past, no doubt confused as to what could possibly bring him here. They simply didn't understand the natural beauty of their world, if that was the case. Still, at least he was on a planet with people who had the correct amount of extremities again. How did Earthlings bounce around as they did without a tail? It boggled his mind. Still, he had his meeting. He had arranged to meet Lady Ise, daughter of the General Hibernal. Both of them interested him, for differing reasons; and both of these meetings would educate him for the crisis to come, so he could figure out which side of it he should be on.
