Ise shrugged, not having access to the Tuffle side was a bit unfortunate but not TRULY a huge loss for her at the moment. If ever she DID decide she wanted to check it out she was quite certain that she could devise a way to disguise herself well enough, and frankly if she WANTED she could just go and not care what they thought. If the Tuffles were so eager to act with hostility toward her then there was no need to consider them worth trying to work with at all until they were thoroughly disabused of that idea.

She highly doubted enough strong Tuffles existed to completely prevent her from LEAVING if she had issues and if she made a bit of noise she was certain she could get plenty of backup from both her Father’s forces and her friends among the Saiyans.

Ise grinned as Rime considered it best that her Uncles found whomever might seek the throne other than them to be unworthy, it was a sentiment she quite agreed with save for only a few exceptions so far. There WERE a few Saiyans she felt reasonably sure she could work with to ensure a similar relationship, Pitt and Vocado however were simply the MOST ideal. She was already quite friendly with them, they were seemingly quite fond of her, and they felt a sense of protective duty toward her, all great ways to establish a bridge between a theoretical Saiyan nation ruled by them and an Arcosian Empire ruled by her Father.

Ideally she would like to establish that BEFORE the Saiyans moved to active war with the Tuffles again, having it be that the Saiyans and the NSFW were partnered before either took their spots of rulership was to her the best case scenario. It allowed both sides to aid the other in establishing full control and meant their partnership could be built off of mutual growth and strength!

“I appreciate that Rime, I look forward to working with and getting to know you more. I can understand needing to keep an appearance of neutrality and your attempts to actively remain such. If all things go well you hopefully will not find yourself in a position where you need to appear in favor of his approach but I will always keep in mind that your loyalty is with Arcose” Perhaps this could end up for the best, if the potion did not immediately restore her Father’s full strength or if they lacked the time to get him strong enough to fully face down Azoth perhaps she could convince her Father to let Azoth hold the throne for a short time, let Rime act as their man on the inside while they prepared for a future battle.

Rime's smile did not leave him as confidence filled him. He had successfully ingratiated himself, at least to some extent. Ise was a powerful ally to have, he knew that, and she was one who would not be so readily influenced by the rather preening nobles on Arcose. Many of them would see her as nothing more than a lowly Saiyan ape in blood, as though that mattered, and believe that they were above working with such a person. Ignoring, of course, her great strength and clearly, some degree of political cunning. Still, she was at a young age. He did wonder whether she may make moves that were too risky or unsafe for her to do at her current level, but he supposed that he could always compensate for that, or just make sure that she didn't.

"I'm glad you are so gracious about my position, Lady Ise. Many people wouldn't be so...understanding of how I have to be, at least for now. I assure you, that should anything of significance happen, I will come straight to you." He couldn't imagine that it would be too hard to track her down, regardless of where she was. She was a Saiyan with a visor on at all times, and she clearly dressed and acted like an Arcosian. How hard could something like that be?

The Arcosian seemed to be actually somewhat enjoying the conversation, not having to worry about grovelling to someone of a higher rank who had no real interest in him, or someone who thought they were better due to their noble stock. "I'm glad we could have this conversation. I had been looking forward to meeting you, and I have not been disappointed. I will admit that the conversation has been a little one-sided on my part; do you have anything you would like to ask me or discuss, Lady Ise?"

If she wanted no more of this interaction, he would accept that; otherwise, he was sure that he could handle whatever questions she threw at him. After all, how bad could they really be?

Ise was quite pleased with how this all was going, Rime was MUCH easier to deal with than say Mint, she had certainly liked talking with Mint and then eventually sparring with him but Mint had been far more interested in maintaining a sense of some sort of ‘balance’ he wanted an equilibrium between her Father and Azoth which was frankly an impossibility.

But Rime? He had a position and while it was likely not absolutely in line with everything her Father wanted it was in line enough that he knew where he wanted to stand and was willing to potentially aid if things went a bit differently than the current plan.

He was also very pleasantly very clearly willing to work with her and seemed to take no issues with the fact she was not actually an Arcosian, many of the other more sort-of noble or actual noble Arcosians she had dealt with were pleasant enough but still had an air about them of just tolerating her, Rime however was much more like the members of the NSFW.

“Before you go I should be able to have my crew set you up with a direct line to my ship on the off chance something goes wrong with my visor, Orenji will do her best to relay your message to me in such a case or be able to inform you if something has happened regarding my visor” It was quite exciting to be making some of her first proper political allies!

“Oh don’t worry, you might have been the one asking a lot of the questions but I certainly don’t feel as if this has been particularly one sided, you’ve given me a lot. I suppose on a mostly unrelated note to all the more serious stuff I’m curious if you have any interest in combat? I’ve met with and sparred with Mint if you are familiar with him so having another Arcosian I could test my strength against some time would be great” Ise said with a grin, while she WAS quite like an Arcosian in her behavior the draw to combat that seemed so natural to Saiyans was certainly something that was quite strong with her.

Rime seemed pleased at having the convenience of communication with her; direct access to people was a rather limited commodity in this day and age, and being able to reach someone like that without having to partake in a certain amount of cloak and dagger was a privilege he was rarely afforded. A smirk came across his face as he wondered if she could sense that she was greater in power without even trying, thanks to that visor. "I served for most of my life in the military, and I have received our highest honour twice, so I do know a thing or two about it. I will admit, I've always had an interest in combat, and how one could supplement being of lesser strength and power with skill and technique. I am still working on those techniques, but the next time we meet, I promise to grant you a sparring match."

He didn't imagine such a thing would go in his favour, but that wasn't the purpose of those exercises. It was to test yourself and to find your limits, to train yourself up to them and to try and push past that level. It helped that it aided you in learning about your opponent, and learning from them just as much.

“To be honest it’s mostly just a fancy scouter. The bulk of what makes it unique is mostly useless to anyone who isn’t blind. Other than that it happens to have some of the better security available to the NSFW which certainly is always a plus” Ise said with a shrug, only a few of her visors non-standard functions would likely be of particular use to anyone other than herself, in fact some were likely not even particularly useful to others who lacked sight as it was built with her enhanced senses in mind, designed to make occasional use of extra heat and noise to provide Ise with a clearer picture of what it was doing.

Ise was quite pleased to hear that Rime was a fighter of sorts, he evidently believed himself to be on the lower overall power scale but accepted that and focused on becoming more innately capable with his technique, something that was often a bit lacking in some fighters. In Ise’s experience some Arcosians and others naturally gifted with raw power often just rested on the fact they had that raw natural power and offered little in terms of skilled combat.

They as a consequence were often easy to pick apart by anyone even vaguely close to their strength. “I eagerly await the day we can spar in that case. I picked up a win against Mint so I am eager to see how you will do.” Ise said with a grin, she was quite aware that she was currently stronger than Rime but that could very well change with time and particularly would be affected by how potent his true strength was.

“I suppose though unless there is anything else this seems to be where our meeting may come to a close? It had been quite pleasant to meet with you either way”

Rime couldn't help but wonder about that visor. Scouter technology was always valuable, even if the device itself was simply a more advanced version. The fact that it could let her 'see', in a manner of speaking - he would have to ask more details at a later time, or perhaps study a copy himself. Such a thing could do wonders if properly reverse engineered. If it was able to interface with eyes that had no vision, then plugging it directly into a soldier could aid with reflex response, threat acquisition; all it required was a little bit of tweaking. Still, there was no point focusing on that for the moment. He knew that the scouter was not why he'd come here, and it wasn't that big of a deal.

He wasn't that surprised to hear of her win against Mint, which was not intended to be insulting to the crime bos, but her power felt similar to what his had been when they had last met. Rime was sure that such a contest would be very close, and someone who had Saiyan blood would always be a dangerous combatant. Though she was an Arcosian in so many other ways, her natural heritage did much to benefit her, no doubt. "Well, when that day comes, I do hope that I won't disappoint. Much of my training was for opponents that were stronger than me, naturally, so perhaps that will help me during our spar, whenever it does happen."

Rime began standing from his chair, bowing respectfully in Ise's direction as she indicated that unless there was more to it, that this was where their meeting ended. He had enjoyed this, as small as it may have seemed to an outsider. It was rare that he got to see someone so pleased to interact with him, and he could tell that Ise was relishing the opportunity to have these kinds of closed door, cloak-and-dagger affairs. "It has been a pleasure to meet you, as well, Lady Ise. I hope that we have cause to meet again soon, and under similarly pleasant circumstances. Until then."

Once more, he bowed, his protocl proper and exact for someone of lower rank who was leaving and attempting to do so in a respectful manner. After that, he quickly made his leave out of the door, and began heading his way out of the ship. He reminded himself to keep a mental note of Ise. She would be of great importance to him, and to the future of Arcose - he was certain of that.
