Even with the crack she formed on the mirror wall, Sweetheart was able to still see enough of her reflection, broken and disjointed...much like herself at the moment. W.A.R. could no longer focus due to Sweetheart's current struggle to regain control. The last time she unintentionally went into this form it only lasted mere seconds...but this programming appeared to be sticking around a little longer now, whatever suppressions that were previously used on this mode growing weaker.

"Wha-zzt..is...hap-hap-happening...?" the droid muttered while she was on her knees, her voice going in and out from being regular...to robotic.

With her hands still on her head, Sweetheart tried to calm down, and focus. She took a look around her surroundings, but everything was coming up as mostly static on her end.

[Systems: Malfunctioning]

Sweetheart was biting down on her lower lip hard but did not draw any blood since she lacks it. "I-I can't...s-see..." she muttered...

[Rebooting Visuals]

With that, Sweetheart's hud was starting to clear up a little...and the first thing she sees is the mirror being repaired.

Before Sweetheart could process any of this, the entirety of her visor started to glow red from her eyes...and suddenly, twin lasers fired right out of her eyes, shattering the droid's visor! The burning laser was aimed directly at the part of the mirror that was being repaired, most likely piercing right through it! It didn't keep a straight path for long however as Sweetheart struggled to get whatever was happening under control, she turned her head left and right with her hands still on the sides of her head before falling straight on her back, all while the laser was still firing!

If this was an act, it was a well crafted one. Whatever was causing the display certainly distracted Ward, who was fighting the urge to check and see with a closer inspection what was happening to his opponent. His exhibition with the blind swordsman had gone poorly and ended in a death, and it was something that weeks later still hung heavy with him. Something was clearly wrong with Captain Sweetheart, but what could or should he do about it was the question.

His feet began to move almost on their own, stepping closer, but keeping his hands up just in case. He could hear her muttering something the closer he got but couldn't quite make it out. Now he was fairly certain this wasn't a simple act, given how she acted when they met, started to act during their fight, and the way she looked in true pain, not even attempts to attack him even as he moved into her field of vision. Her words were just clear enough to be heard, causing him to stop in his tracks.

"Are you okay?"

Cautiously he called out, though it seemed she either had managed to or was attempting to see once more given how she looked around. Quickly jumping back, his eyes-widened as there was a strange glow coming from her, and a spike in energy even higher than what he had sensed the first few times. Unlike before it wasn't dissipating but growing steadily, and his thoughts from before seemed confirmed. Now standing behind the mirror once more, he could see a blast of energy in the form of energy lasers flying towards him in an instant, thankful he had prepared ahead of time as he likely would have had none otherwise.

Whatever was happening seemed to be out of her control, as the lasers kept streaming out even as she moved her head, and his first thought was the fact they were surrounded by a crowd. He was able to knock down a ki blast earlier hoping to keep it from flying into the crowd, but this was something different entirely, and meant he couldn't simply block the beam and counter attack, he had to do something more drastic, and likely much more painful for his opponent in the process.

His own energy began to swell as his muscles shook from flexing, and his energy began to rise and spike. The moment the attack burst through the mirror in front of him, glass shards and energy flew towards him in an instant. Less than a second before impact he vanished from view, standing behind his opponent with a determined and concerned look plastered on his face.

All around Captain Sweetheart the same energy surrounding Ward began to swirl around the both of them, growing and forming a pair of white ethereal hands near as large as the fighting platform itself. In one quick motion, Ward pulled his arms in against himself as one would with a hug, causing the aura energy to collapse in, hitting Captain Sweetheart with the full force of the energy if she didn't have a way to get out of the way, block the attack, or destroy it. Regardless the outcome, Ward was behind her in case it did in fact collide to ensure she wouldn't hit the floor or sustain any further injury than she could or already had.

This wasn't the first time Sweetheart didn't have control over her own abilities...but this was the first time she felt truly helpless, at the mercy of her own programming! The laser continued to fire as the droid struggled to stop it! She was miraculously able to keep it from harming the crowd...but she isn't sure how long she can keep that up! To her, this was no longer a fight, but pure madness! She wasn't focusing on her opponent anymore, not noticing that he has powered up to a form stronger than Sweetheart's W.A.R. Programming.

The droid had nothing more to say now, expending all of her energy just to try and stop herself...but so far, nothing was working. Fortunately for her, and the audience, Ward had an idea up his sleeve! The pointy-eared man was now behind the panicking hero and powering up an attack of his own! A large powerful wave of energy was pushed forward, crashing into Sweetheart! The force of the attack was enough to temporarily shut Sweetheart's systems down, her hud going blank as the laser stopped! She was also being sent flying forward from the impact, her mouth agape as if she were in shock or pain!

She continued to fly and fly until....she fell out of the ring...

She crashed face-first onto the ground, lying there silently.

Finally, there was some movement when some of Sweetheart's fingers started to twitch, her hud slowly coming back on with some static. "N-Nghh..." Slowly, Sweetheart started to sit up, wincing and struggling a bit as she did. Her body looked pretty battered and bruised, a few sparks as well. Her power reverted back to its base which also returned Sweetheart back to normal. "My...head..." Sweetheart was about to raise her hand up...until she noticed the visor part missing from her helmet!

"M-My visor...." her tone was weak, but there was still a hint of distress. "D-Don't look at me...My...My identity..." She said, not talking to anyone specifically. "I-I forfeit..." she claimed, not realizing she already lost. She was now trying her hardest to cover her face with her hands, appearing a little more concerned over that. "I-I am so...sorry..."

This was the first time Ward had truly been worried about other mortals, and because of that the first time he made what he felt was an attempt to protect any of them. His intentions, despite how painful the means were, were also to help his opponent in this instance given it looked as if they were both in pain and out of control. There was no chance his attack wasn't going to hurt, and he was fully aware of that fact, but words clearly weren't going to break through, and so as the technique connected, and the match was over, he couldn't drop his defenses.

Much like in Captain Sweetheart's mind, this wasn't a fight anymore, and even as she was ringed out and the match was won, his focus was still on her entirely. Vanishing from the platform next to her, he stood a few feet away watching carefully, but he could see the damage had been done in such a way that it might have at least snapped her back to where she started their fight. His hands began to move in a circular motion over his head as a dome barely bigger than the space they occupied covered the both of them, blacking out their vision inside.

The darkness was temporary as the space filled white a white light coming from Ward's hands as he moved in closer, gripping onto Captain Sweetheart's shoulders and giving her a look, as if demonstrating he was willing to use his strength again if necessary. He knew it would no doubt be a shock or seen as aggressive at first, but in a matter of seconds her entire body would have felt a strange sensation as he began to use his magic to heal her. It was clear she wasn't completely if at all biological given the way his magics weren't quite right at first, but he began to notice it quickly enough to use the full extent of his healing and creation magic to began patching up any visible wounds.

Even as he began to heal her physically, the destroyed parts of her clothing and gear also began to stitch together and repair to the exact specifications and conditions as if the battle had never taken place. It didn't take long, but it was thorough, and as soon as he felt comfortable in his work being completed, he released his grip and backed away as the dome darkened once more before receding completely. Neither the crowd nor Captain Sweetheart would have seen any sign of Ward even as the announcer was declaring his victory, but there was a voice that seemed to come from all directions around her.

"We'll meet again soon, I'm sure. You put up a good fight."

I think that's a good place to exit as well.
