The heavy blizzard storm was apparent, the past week was considered to be one of the worst blizzards that one could experience! The towns people were mad! Fuming with steam coming out of their ears! The major was rather nervous of it all. Fixing his tie before the press conference, he swallowed in nervousness and stepped forward.
"Now, I know this isn't a normal situation... We have had reports that the blizzard storm has turned some of the residents into ice statues... We currently have a theory that as of late, we believe that the ancient dragon, Yanshi is responsible for this..."
The crowd started to shout louder! With one of the news media outlets trying to out speak the crowd.
"Mr Mayor, why do you suspect Yanshi the dragon to be responsible for this?"
The mayor truly didn't have an answer to it, however, it was a strong hunch considering the tale.
"We had sent out local officers to investigate the strong blizzard that was coming to the west. They never came back, all one hundred of them were turned to ice statues the closer they got to it... and the old tale of ice statues comes from Yanshi the ice dragon that turned the people of the Kingdom to the North into statues...."
Nobody wanted to believe the mayor and they all started to disperse as they called him a liar. However, deep to the west and standing on a hill top just overlooking the town from afar, he could cover the tiny town with his thumb. The rumors were indeed true, Yanshi was busy laughing up a storm as he watched the people turn into ice statues! He took another deep inhale of breath, this time, it was more extreme than the last one! He fired the ice breath straight into the town once again. Over at the town side, the people were being lifted from the air, while others were turned to ice statues! This desperate plea from the mayor to find a Hero to stop this chaotic mess and to find out the truth before the entire town was going to turn into statues! Yanshi now laid on his back and started to look at the sky as his wrinkled eyes closed so heavily slow.
"I honestly can't remember the last time I had this much fun! It has been centuries indeed..." His deep rasp voice had boom to the sky as he let out a loud yawn. He truly loved being this gigantic, he could do whatever he pleased and no one could put a stop to his reign of terror!
