The ice cave domain of Yanshi’s was covered in endless snow. If one were to look from the outside, it would look like a gigantic mouth of a dragon! Expanding 100ft to 100ft in height and width. The icicles on the teeth were impressive indeed and almost the spitting image of the real deal. One who glares at it, must think how is it possibly that the entrance to a cave could look like that? This thought made Yanshi chuckle every time with a sinister grin. Ice statues were scattered outside, by the hundreds... impressive one would think.. then when told what they use to be... chills on their backs would rise. Yanshi is a cruel dragon that doesn’t care about anyone whose smaller than him.
Deep within the ice crystal cave, the sun’s perfect reflection made the cave look so beautiful that one could admire it up close. The frozen ice floors almost looked like water was beneath it. Those who step inside the cave would notice a gleamer of light and finally, the gigantic ice dragon that is laying at the center of it! The dragon had opened one eye, its ocean blue crystal eye made anyone fall for his siren gaze.
Singing may trick others, but it was his pool colored eyes that could show the reflection of ones own beauty. He now was chomping on a long neck dinosaurs bones that had long expired. He enjoyed the taste of the bone and but importantly, the taste of his victory overall. He shifted his eyes towards the ceiling and licked his lips. He lightly tapped the ground with in right index nail. Which caused a few icicles to drop to the ground in front of him. As they struck, they were the size of that of a baseball bat. As he enjoyed the bone, he licked the icicle for water. Mind you, he had a beautiful lake size bath within the cave as well. But he truly was a lazy dragon when it came to moving so much and about.
After he consumed the bone while and finished his icicle, it was time for his bed and what better enjoyment than to have something entertaining to watch. He would let out a calm whistle. About that time. Two hoomans would show up, dressed in rags and chains. There hearts began to race miles per hour. There dirty rags were a sign of captivity and no bathing. Before they could speak, the dragon opened his mouth and showed his disgusting yellow rotten teeth.
“I want you both to fight each other. The winner will live...”
They both looked at one another with determination in their eyes and started to beat the crap out of the other. Within seconds, a victory was made and the last one standing was now covered in the blood of his enemy. Yanshi then inhale his breath and before the hooman could react. He was turned to an ice statue and frozen throughout time now..
Yanshi was bored as he let out a violent yawn which was really, a heavy gust of wind which almost felt like a tornado or hurricane to anyone who wasn’t his size or shape. He finally closed his eyes as he fell asleep. He would think about what his next meal would be or if any humans would rise up and try to beat him again. He kept laughing the more that he thought about it. He was so use to seeing knights and swords.. now a days, it was replaced with technology that he doesn’t even recognize.
A very thin mist atmosphere was present around the cave. It still was thin enough to distinguish different colors and such. However this mist coming from directly from the dragon itself. The legends have even stated that those who had stayed in this mist long enough would eventually turn into an ice statue. Whether the legends were true about it, is still up for debate.
