Ki Boost - Subtract an additional -1 KP from cost.
If a minion is defeated and their base PL is not within 50% of your base PL, Avenger is not triggered. Guardians are exempt from this.

Sparking Techniques created using Light Techniques can be used an additional time. You must use the same Sparking Technique used the first time, and it cost an additional 1 MP on its second use.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
BACKGROUND: Just like her parents before her, Jackie Jeans was born into a secluded tribe of mountain folk. Nestled deep in the North. Sun Monks, as they were called. And the planet's star is what gave them meaning in life. Many were practitioners of their own secluded martial art and religion. And for the longest while, Jackie was among other children in learning their ways from their dojo. Their specialty was light and flame. The ingredients to life and warmth. Though such arts did not hold back from their more destructive elements.
Life was typical and homely for the Sun Monk for a long while. But some time during her early teen years a great force came and blew her village and home away. Jackie does not know why, as it seems she was one of the few who managed to flee the carnage and hide among the nearby forests. It was the first time she was fearful, and the last time she'd see her people. Days would turn to weeks as she had to live off the land and not draw attention to herself.
Eventually, park rangers found the young teen stealing food from campers somewhere down near the base of the mountain's forest. After a struggle and fight, Jackie was apprehended and sent to a corrections facility where she spoke rather openly about her plight. She was sent off to a foster home in Central City where she was met with a surprising new teacher and father. A Fellow Martial Artist named Hue Scion.
With their time together, she'd learn more about the fundamentals of city life and further train herself in form. School Education was second nature and the girl seemed to have a knack for engineering and math work. Her past was never really brought back up and she hadn't the ability to go searching for that purpose in her life. Even as she became an adult and went through vocational for some licenses her mind has been headstrong and forward in life. But that feeling still nags in the back of her head. But, for now, she worked and lived a modest life.
With people wildly coming into power suddenly around the galaxy... who knows. Maybe that spark will light up in her eyes again.

Light Offensive || Blazing StrikeADDITIONAL NOTES: "Flaming Wreath" should be her base transformation. Pretty much all of them are going to be flavored.
A standard technique of the Sun Monks. Perhaps the most iconic. The student balls a hand into a fist and engulfs it in flaming Ki before lashing out in a powerful punch!

Light Defensive || Protective Novae
A standard technique of the Sun Monks. The student conjures a small shell of light and flame out from around their form in all directions, providing some protection from a variety of small assaults and blasts as it dissipates outwards.

Variants: Shield, +10% Power
Medium Offensive || Flare
A Sun Monk Signature. The Student's hands come together and outstretch as a ball of fiery red light coalesces inside. After a moment of charging, a large arcing wave of fiery red ki is shot out in a beam almost. Scorching anything it contacts.

Variants: +10% Power x 4
Light Sparking Offensive|| Lightspeed Blazing Strike
Jackie's own signature move. Turning into a momentary beam of light, the Sun Monk can blindingly evade a blow and return her own Blazing Strike. Sending the momentum of her travel into the blow itself.

MP Cost: 3 MP
Variants: Counter, Ki Cost Reduction, +10% Power x 4
Utility Technique || Ki Sensing
A technique that allows you to sense, measure, and differentiate the ki signatures of ki attacks and all living beings without the Anti-Sense trait. Higher ki signatures are easier to sense and can be sensed at greater distances than lower ones. This technique is passive and does not use KP.
Utility Technique || Ki Suppression
Skilled control over your ki allows you to suppress your Power Level to a minimum of 1 PL to either hide or use this lower PL to fight characters weaker than your full strength on even footing. This technique is passive and does not require KP use.
Utility Technique || Flight
Titular flight using ki. Jackie is particularly great at turning on a dime by ejecting jets of flame in different directions.
