On the last of his days spent on Earth, Shakuhachi wanted to find some a place that reminded him of Namek. He felt that every moment he spent away from his home he was... losing his connection. The Namekians tended to be spiritual people by nature, and though Shakuhachi had never gone too far in that direction he could not deny his roots. When he had been on Namek he would occasionally find time in between the battles and confrontations to relax every now and then and meditate. His favorite spots had been the secluded forests and lakes, where the only company he'd have to worry about was the wildlife.
With Earth that was next to impossible. The population was significantly larger than that of Namek, even if you only counted the natives. Every time he had left the city to try and find such a place that reminded him of home he inevitably found himself dealing with someone else's problems. All that noise to deal with; he felt himself slowly becoming one of them, the kind he had promised to fight against. The sooner he got back to Namek that better.
But he hadn't left yet; he'd need a bit of a pick me up first. The Kaiju forest was a place that he had heard of before, but he wished he would have asked further before actually going. It turned out to be quite the more hectic than what the whispers had said. He didn't mind the heat; that part actually reminded him of home, as did the humidity. No, the real problem was just how many damn animals there was. He had to wade through hordes of predators ranging from dinosaurs to giant cats just to find a small oasis of comfort.
Though he hated to admit it, once he did make the breakthrough the beauty of this place at times could even rival Namek. It wasn't too large; maybe twenty meters in either direction. It was enough to fit a small pond though, with a few critters playing in the dirt around it. It was protected by a dense forest which would have made it difficulty for anyone to find it unless they knew where to look. There weren't any signs that Humans had ever found this spot before, which was just the way he liked it.
As he walked over to the pond and glazed his face with fresh water, the glistening reflection displayed a smile on the face of Shakuhachi, who had finally found a place that he could enjoy like only a Namekian could. He found a nice spot of shade underneath a tree, grabbed one of the fruits that had fallen from the branches above and just prayed that he could be left alone for once.
