Sugar Frenzy [Closed]

Truthfully Nasu had no idea what to expect from this kind of opponent. It was almost like it was some kind of unpredictable force, one he could not really try and strategize against — was this one of their strengths? He hadn’t met a Majin before and neither did he know who this individual was or what they fought like but his senses could tell he was not your typical martial artist. There had to be something to them he could possibly use as a weakness, perhaps?

As of the moment, his presence had the Majin for some reason fall in some kind of… slumber? Was he just taking a moment or did he actually fall asleep? His very sight began to become dull, his facial features softened just enough for them to loosen and form a disappointed look. He was not sure whether this was an offense or something had literally gotten to them all of a sudden.

Of course, the first thing the Saiyan did was also look towards his temporary ally. The Namekian looked just as confused as he was, and honestly the Saiyan basically felt the same way. His eyes just ever so narrowed, but he did not just stare, his mouth decided to give a quiet reply as well.

“I believe he is mocking us.”

Soon enough, the Majin proved that he was indeed not asleep. But Nasu did not notice until the deed was done: the screech assaulted his hearing like nothing else could have done, out of instinct (and to preserve his ears) the man lifted his shoulders, and soon at least one eye closed. His hands rushed to his ears to try and at least secure the slightest chance that his ears wouldn’t ring. But thankfully the torment was over shortly after.

His other eye once more opened and looked: the Majin was gone! But that trick didn’t catch the Saiyan off guard for more than that very single moment, as he could still keep track of the Majin’s signature in his very mind and his senses told him to turn around; as he did, he found the creature there, laughing, and soon ready to attack! That very energy, he watched it, slowly form into… what the hell was that? Nasu began to feel confused and threatened all the same, but while at first they didn’t look so intimidating; he thought twice about it and could tell they were filled yet filled with ki.

Those things were dangerous. He had made no toys, but… powerful, lethal toys? To the response of a danger so strong, his body couldn’t help but respond accordingly; he began to unleash a stronger aura, his eyes turned a yellow shade; some of his wilder power being released at once; his body ready to flee.

“Dodge!”

Nasu told the Namekian, unknown if he had taken the hint or not, but all the same, the Saiyan’s mind reached to also remember the policewoman was still in range— once more he hopped upon his cloud and began to make the run, his very being remaining upon the cloud as he drifted and turned, avoiding many of those projectiles. But some of them began to scratch him, as well, leaving his undershirt to be cut, tattered, his blood splashing and mixing in the scrap of the situation to make a mess of the streets, but thankfully his cloud secured him from serious injuries. His senses guided him, to the woman and this time, he grabbed her by the collar. He had to take her away to make sure she wouldn’t get involved in the doings of a battle.

The man dropped her off a few blocks later, on a bench before his cloud once more rose up to his command; making an upside turn to switch directions quickly and direct himself towards the location of the battle. One fist forward, as well as his leg he chanted the magic words: “Faster, Kinto’un!” — the cloud accelerated and left a lengthy trail behind, he could see them: the Namekian had gone for the offensive! And so would have the Saiyan, as he bent his leg back and hopped off the cloud to launch himself at the Majin.

His leg spun, for a first roundhouse kick; his body slowly vanished on itself, as if he left an afterimage from a very fast movement — he had inverted directions?! One more roundhouse kick, but this time from the other side and in the end, his feet once more rested upon his cloud that awaited for its Master’s need and would try to land one high, frontal kick with the tip of his boot, as his leg rose as high as it could.

Triple Force.

Nasu’s grapple… felt very light and thin. Oh wait, that was because he didn’t actually catch him. To himself, the man briefly cursed and soon once more turned and switched around with his cloud once more. He turned and thankfully he could notice that the stranger ally had dealt a good amount of damage on him but nevertheless it looked like this creature was steadily but slowly taking any of the damage thrown at him.

Not to mention they could like… split up their body and unite it again? Something like that, when it reformed itself. It was somewhat creepy at first but if anything, that was what he could tell. He soon let go of his thoughts for the Majin and nodded towards the Namekian.

“Good. Then we can keep fighting.”

Nasu confirmed and soon enough was ready to basically take the Majin head-on, was it going to disappear again or try to do some weird trick on them and suddenly go off with his toy bricks things? No, none of them thus far. If anything was good about this creature was his sense of surprise and such a thing was certain: it knew how not to run out of a surprise.

“He is good at fighting. It is a shame he is this way. He could have been a great training partner if he was a little different.”

He was honest. If he wasn’t for him being insane and somewhat prone towards destruction, he could have seen the Majin as a good training partner opportunity. But for now, they’d be enemies. Temporary enemies, at least.

There was something strange. His eyes looked up and yet could easily see that the sun itself was as if it settled upon the Majin, but it was still not night! He was not too surprised that it was probably the doing of his next move, but he looked at the Majin and wondered: what was he going to do? It was no chance he could be up to another ki attack, he could feel and see the energy swirling; but with their enemy currently floating that high — and them being down there, it basically made the very chance that they’d dodge become the doom of a city!

Was he doing this on purpose? There was no chance he could be plotting that far, right? The creature itself didn’t look like he was going to really plan out that far ahead, but at this point it wasn’t a matter of will: such would have been the consequence. Nasu looked towards the Namekian to see what he would do: he didn’t quite know his species, at all even. But as he eyed him, he could see he was up to nothing in contrast.

He was waiting for the attack to be done, wasn’t he? Was he that confident of his own ability that he’d be sure to block the attack and hold him off? That was an interesting take, perhaps one bet that Nasu would take himself if the green man wasn’t doing it already. But in the current situation it wouldn’t have suited Nasu well to just copy his temporary ally, therefore he decided to also charge his own attack; but before that, he once more, decided to leak his ki but not entirely.

His fists closed and his muscles briefly bulged, as his energy between the three increased on par with the green alien’s. His body then did not allow for anything more to move, as instead, his ki began to swirl around; he yet once more was floating around on his cloud, and awaited to see what the Majin would have pulled out of his arsenal.

The power continued to rise, the Saiyan was ready to strike the Majin with his most potent technique at its highest potential. But oddly enough, for some strange reason, the creature decided not to pursue any further. Which left the Saiyan quite hanging, on the edge even. As he just dropped all the power and left immobilized like a statue.

"Eh?"

Nasu was awkward, disappointed and outright bored. But hey, at least all had gone well and the city was safe, or so he guessed at least. All good in a day's work kind of deal, right? Well, shortly after the Saiyan decided to just sit it down, on top of his golden cloud and think over what had happened. Even though it did not make a lot of sense to him.

The man looked towards Shakuhachi curiously. How odd. Just earlier he had felt a different vibe from the green man, almost as if the Saiyan’s presence was not even tolerated. As a matter of fact, he had felt like this before. Not too long ago, on the very wastelands of the Planet Plant as he had first arrived and met the Tuffles. Still, this one was not native to Plant, was he? Or did he perhaps have some kind of bad experience with a specimen of the Saiyans?

Nasu guessed he could not be surprised, life was only that surprising after a certain point to the point where one was old enough to probably call the shots and guess where things could possibly be headed.

But maybe he was wrong. Otherwise, perhaps, the Namekian could have just rose (not literally) from his seat and flown away, but then again, he was still in time to do so. If anything, the man appreciated it, though. He turned around, to face the Namekian fully.

“Sorry.”

To be honest he did not quite expect himself to even have the chance at introducing himself, otherwise he would have probably tried that much. It was nothing but then again, he guessed he had nothing to lose by apologizing. Not to mention that he had initiated a conversation, so if anything, he was somewhat thankful. Nasu was still at a loss of words, it was somewhat of a confusing event to him; a rampage followed by quiet all of a sudden. But if anything, he guessed it was better this way.

“My mind was up in the air. I had not met a foe that was so unpredictable before.”

The Saiyan man looked above in the skies, the very blue sky in itself expressed something that was quiet and relaxing, and yet Earth so far was full of surprises. What was with all the commotion? He doubted it had to do with the tournament.

“I suppose Earth has more surprises than I could have possibly thought.”

The man once more faced the Namekian and nodded, his arms lifted to rest upon his very chest. For once, not even his shirt had to get ripped off. Now that was a good relief, even, but he figured it was enough of a wait, as the man decided to finally introduce himself as well. It would have been rude to make the newly-made friend wait any longer.

“I am Nasu. If I am to be honest I had no idea what a Namekian was until now, but I have not seen much of this part of the galaxy. What kind of people are you? If you do not mind telling me about them.”

Nasu could not have lied that easily, as he truly had no idea what this thing was. But if anything it was much much friendlier than DIdi, soon enough the man soon retorted once more on his words and instead of an apology, he thanked him. If anything, this man was obviously a Saiyan but probably did not look like the regular image of the Vegetean. At least in manners, because he was not. If that was not clear already.

“Oh, thank you for earlier. If you had not been here before me, I do not think I could have made it in time to save that woman. I appreciate the fact there are fine people on this Earth, as well. Thus far it had been mostly viles and questionable people of all regards.”
